Came by for breakfast the other day and it was a fantastic experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]KOS coffee is located inside a strip mall with Nordic vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff were super cordial which was reflected in tax and service charge included price, just like in the Nordics. Started off with the latte and it was perfect. Espresso was smooth and the temperature of the beverage was on point. Latte art was excellent too. The smoked salmon cream cheese open faced sandwich was more than filling. There was a generous amount of smoked salmon over a lightly toasted bread and a thick layer of cream cheese. I loved the pickled onions and the capers that provided a nice contrast. $30/head for breakfast

I love Kos!!! In addition to the wonderful coffee, they have a fantastic menu which is super tasty. The lattes are coffee forward, so if you're looking for sweetness, be advised to ask for a heavier hand with the syrups. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There isn't a ton of room for big groups, so save this for an intimate besties coffee date or maybe a solo trip.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The ube latte is a current favorite, but there are lots of good choices, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a nearby park/lake if you want to stretch your legs and get a few steps in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The banana Bread is super good!! They have great choices of coffee and matcha. Had the salted caramel syrup +++++ I will be back for sure. Service was great and they were conscious of dietary concerns.

My favorite coffee shop in Maitland! The staff is always so welcoming. I love that they remember my name everytime I come in. I usually get a matcha latte or try one of their seasonal drinks. I definitely recommend coming here for catching up with a friend or knock out a few admin tasks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They always have the best music playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I usually use my Shazam to find new songs for my playlist :)[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Cardamom bun and an americano

I needed a spot to hang out, have some coffee, and work while my wife was at an appointment nearby. There were a few coffee spots in the area but this one looked the most promising and I'm so glad I picked it! The barista was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and helpful. He seemed to know everyone in the shop and addressed me by name the whole time I was there. I was intrigued by the seasonal drink offerings--and would like to come back to try some--but went with my usual americano since it was my first time trying their espresso! The barista picked an espresso for my drink that was perfect for an americano. Sometimes I add sugar, but this drink didn't need it at all. I also tried the cardamom bun, and although this visit was over a month ago at this point, I'm still thinking about that bun. There were plenty of other delicious pastry options as well, so I'll surely struggle to decide what to get when I return!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute and tasty coffee shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We have been here twice now and have been super impressed both times. The workers are super friendly and welcoming. The sourdough bread is delicious and I have tried both the Full Send and Brekkie Sandwich, and they were tasty and super filling. They have a wide variety of drink options and seasonal options as well. I grabbed the Mango Coconut Matcha and it was a wonderful combination of flavors.

Get out of your coffee shop rotation and take a gander at KOS! My neighbors been bothering me about going for the last few weeks so I caved and well, I'm glad I did! Today I tried an iced sage forward latte and this alone got me fired up to come back. The barista was super friendly and was able to give me a great walkthrough of the seasonal menu. Lil fun tip - they actually serve canned beer here too if you're coming post work and need more than just a pick me up they're here for you

[[HIGHLIGHT]]5 Stars for good coffee, a cute spot, and pickled herring toast and avocado toast that hit the spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also- get the cardamom bun. You won't regret it. I know. Pickled herring. Not the norm on cafe menus, BUT, trust me and order it. The herring is sweet and vinegary and the pickled red onion adds a bite. All of it on a great slice of crunchy sourdough. The avocado toast also has the pickled red onions, but the real star here is the basil. SO GOOD. The prices include taxes and tips, which I appreciate! I do wish the staff was more consistent (some are lovely and some ignore you completely). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is rather small, but especially when it's slow, it's a good spot to hang with a great cup of coffee or matcha.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

KOS has been a part of my weekend routine now. My go-to order is an oat milk vanilla latte and it's always good. You know how other coffee shops the coffee to milk mixture can be unpredictable? Well not at KOS. The staff is friendly (shoutout to Carson!) and orders never take too long. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is indoor and outdoor seating, with table space if you want to set up with a laptop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you haven't been to KOS yet, you gotta go!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice coffee shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Love the local options here. Mostly every thing made in house and my first time trying a cardamom flat white. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Everything was good and apparently a lot of people know about this place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice foot traffic but great customer service and inside is nice and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Always looking for a place that makes a good lavender americano. Today I tried a nicely blended americano with lavender at KOS coffee. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small interior with just a few tables but the free WiFi is a plus to encourage you to grab a cup and have a seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I also tried the rainy cloud matcha which was delicious. I enjoyed the coconut water they put in the matcha and I wonder if I ever have had that before. I think it's always just been regular water. The barista was so super nice and gave me a sample of the strawberry drip coffee as I had already ordered before I noticed it. I love black coffee and the flavor of strawberries was subtly present and I imagine with cream it would also be delightful. I thought for the size it should be less than $5 and the $8 price point for the matcha at that small size feels like a lot too. BUT it was delicious and if you are looking to indulge this is a good stop. Next time I would like to try the earl grey and citrus morning bun but they are baked fresh daily and they were out of them by the time I got there. Next time!

I went on a Sunday and enjoyed Matcha coffee and some pastries. We both got the prices were a little high for what they were but it was well worth it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is small so I would suggest this isn't the place for a date, but definitely had to go coffee on your way to maybe walk around Lake Lilly or go to the downtown farmers market in Maitland they do have plenty of parking so that's a plus and the service was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute coffee shop with a small town feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The baristas are really friendly and explained everything about their process and all inclusive pricing. I got the Norwegian waffle with strawberry compote which was tasty, not too sweet but there was quite a bit of compote. I would say $11 for it didn't seem quite reasonable but I did enjoy it. My friend got the blueberry scone which was pretty average but fresh, and buttered toast which was on the saltier side. We got a vanilla iced latte with oat milk and an iced marzipan latte with oat as well. Both were good but the syrups had a bit of a sugar free after taste to them. Overall this is a cute shop that I'm excited to see grow.

However, they always have fun creations popping up in their case. Some fan favorites are the Mango Sticky Rice Tart and literally any of their pop tarts. The staff is kind and efficient. There's usually a line out the door. However, we never wait longer than 15 minutes to get the goods. The space is definitely small on the customer end inside. However, they have plenty of outdoor seating that's perfect for hanging out with friends on a Sunday morning. Literally one of my favorite spots. Thank you Buttermilk for being THAT girl.

I have been a Buttermilk Bakery fan for well over a decade. Until this last weekend…read more I got online at 8:15 in the morning to place my order. Each item that I selected came up with a message that read, "Our store is not currently accepting orders." I tried again a few minutes later. Then again. And again. And again. I tried to call and received a voicemail that stated a different number. At 8:50am, the option to order seemed to be back up and running. I ordered five items, including the Roasted Tomatoes & Goat Cheese Quiche. For context: I live 45 minutes away from Buttermilk Bakery. It used to be on my way to work but, as of a few years ago, that is not the case anymore. So, it is now a special occasion destination. Reserved only for weekends when I can make the trip. More context: I have been raving to one of my closet friends for years about how much I love this place. My most emphatic musings have been about the quiche. Today, since she and I were planning an afternoon poolside, I thought that I would surprise her with an assortment of Viennoiserie and other items. At 10:36am, I received a call from Buttermilk. The woman on the phone informed me that they had run out of the quiche. How?!? Once the website was working, I was able to place my order quickly and the item didn't even read, "Low stock." I know that this is a small problem in a world full of large problems, but the thing that really set me off is that when I arrived at the store, the person in line in front of me asked for the Strawberry Buttermilk Pie. He was told that they were out of stock. He was pleasant in stating that there appeared to be slices in the refrigerator case. The girl behind the register told him that they were being held for online orders. When it was my turn, I stated that no one had held my slice of quiche. She blandly said, "I am sorry," and proceeded. I then stated that I was unhappy and had driven some distance. She asked if I would like something else. I responded that the person on the phone had simply told me that I would receive a refund. I then asked for the girl to check on my refund. She said it was not processed yet. So, I said that I would wait. She needed to ask for help to process the refund. She wasn't nasty to me, but she did not care one iota. My effort and subsequent inconvenience meant nothing. I wonder if my refund would even have been processed had I not asked. My friend and I thought the pastries that we received were fine, but she is fitness-minded and was hesitant to indulge in so many carbs without the rich protein that the quiche would have provided. And, yet, more context: This happened once before. With the quiche. Maybe a year ago. Though, that time, I believe it was a butternut squash quiche. My husband needed to be in the area, so he suggested that he pick-up at Buttermilk. When he arrived, he was told that there would be no quiche. No call. No nothing. He didn't think to ask for a refund and we never received one. That time, I simply thought, "Well, accidents happen." This time, I think that I received very shoddy service. I felt very disrespected. I felt unseen. I have loved this place, but I am so disappointed.

5 Stars for a healthy brunch (that's hard to find in this city at the moment)!…read more We stopped by and ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich. It featured tofu (the menu says almond crusted, but it wasn't), house made lentil sausage, buttermilk ranch dressed kale, spicy aioli, on a brioche bun. It was SO good and I would absolutely order it again. 10/10 vegetarian option. We also got the herbed chicken salad panini and, again, super impressed! It's on toasted sourdough and came with our choice of side (oven baked sweet potatoes). The chicken salad itself was full of herbs and stood out! The sweet potatoes were also spiced and were a treat, not an afterthought. I loved the aioli dip that came with them and found myself dipping everything in it! I also got a matcha and an iced cortado. The matcha was fab- with a seasonal blueberry syrup. The coffee was actually a bit of a disappointment. It tasted burnt and we didn't love it. Quick shoutout to Matt at the counter who was a GEM when we were making our brunch picks. A friendly staff member can really elevate an experience!! Finally, they carry really good natural wines. I know because I've had those bottles at Golden Hour in Baldwin Park and they are standouts. Next time, I'm grabbing some wine!

This is a fast casual establishment where you order at the counter and they deliver your food to your table. We ordered drip coffee, Fig latte frittata and burrito in the bowl. The burrito in the bowl could've used more flavor and the bacon wasn't as crispy as I'd prefer, but the potatoes on the side were pretty good. The Frittata looked and tasted amazing. The sauce was on point! The latte was really smooth and felt like a hug. They have a good amount of outdoor seating and it's shaded which works perfect for those hot Florida days. Will definitely be back and see what other seasonal offerings they might have in the future!
