I don't know if you can imagine my joy when I saw the Paris Baguette sign off the main road while heading to the resort. As a Bay Area foodie, that sight instantly made my day. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. Kudos to Reagan and Steve. I ran into a little trouble. I forgot to order the cake ahead. One bakery on Colonial Dr asked for 2 days ahead. Online, Paris Baguette also asked for a day ahead. I called, and Reagan simply calmed me down. She asked me to come to the shop. I arrived right before her shift ended, so Reagan ensured that Steve take good care of me. She even wrote the special message on the chocolate board for my cake before leaving. I returned at 5, and my Coffee Cake was ready. Steve also got mr candle and the cutter, ready to go. Came here on a Saturday morning with friends around 11 am. It was busy but still easy to find seating and quick to order and be served. The employees were very friendly and will toast your pastry if you ask (highly recommend). The atmosphere is nice, lots of seating. It was a bit hard to hear my friends talking but that was probably just because of how busy it was since it was a Saturday morning. I ordered a ham and cheese pastry and the lavender matcha frappe. We are getting a Paris Baguette in New Tampa across from Home Depot pretty much. I'm excited for it to open. This time around we were in Winter Park and we spotted Paris Baguette. It was open later than usual coffee bakeries so we decided to stop in. I downloaded the app and were able to get a free pastry, & with that I ordered a butter pecan latte. It was alright. We first tried Paris Baguette while on holiday in NYC. We liked it so much we went there 3 mornings in a row. So, we were happy . . . and hopeful when we learned there's a location in Winter Park. We say hopeful because we've been let down before by other businesses with a lack of consistency across locations. We're happy to say Winter Park didn't disappoint! We were surprised it was empty when we walked in, but that quickly changed. The pastries and breads are a delight to look at the aroma of the coffee and pastries is an absolute delight. We had a couple of questions and Dani was wonderful, taking time to explain a few things for us. Everything we had was super delicious with the surprise being the Coffee Bun - it is so simple but bursting with coffee flavor - Definitely the sleeper pastry in the bunch. If there was one negative I would say they do not have enough staff because several of the tables were needing to be cleaned. I blame this as much on the customer who walked away from the mess they made at the table - let's have better manners people - show kindness! I saw their billboard on 436, looked it up, and then figured it would give it a try. I was incredibly impressed with this place. It's larger and fancier than I thought it would be, and the selection was unbelievable. I couldn't believe I hadn't heard more about this coffee and pastry shop. We were absolutely enchanted by all the delicious, shiny pastries, fresh desserts and tempting bread. This place is a cozy, comfortable bistro and laid out in such a way that you have to weave through the beautiful options. Honestly, it makes it really hard to keep your order reasonable rather than ordering 1 of everything. By the time I got to the cake slices, I was actively trying to talk myself out of a larger dessert. I'm certain this is by design, and it is very effective. My husband and I both ordered chai lattes. The staff were super friendly--and the chai lattes were absolutely delicious. A perfect temperature and everything. We really enjoyed them a lot. We also got a couple of macaroons for dessert. Divine. Fresh, flaky and just perfection. They paired amazingly with the chai and were a great size. The perfect end treat for an evening! I finally got a chance to get those elusive Croissant Donuts. I was spoiled on my multiple trips to New Years and now I had a chance to try them in Winter Park. From the indoor interior from the lattice weaved chairs, to the glass house the pastries are aligned and organized in everything has its place. You can dine in or take your pastries to go if they offer their own boxes as well as paper bags and quick to go items like drinks and coffees. The lovely girl at the counter checked me out she was very nice. No one really helped me in this store I just kind of figured it was a do it yourself or you can order some thing at the counter specifically if you want it. I definitely think I have found my new favorite bakery. If you haven't been here they do have a parking in the back they are right next to just salad and a dental office. This is such a beautiful bakery with some of the most delicious offerings. I love that they provide trays if you would like to dine in and lined boxes if you want to take your items out! It's self service, so there are tongs for you to grab delicious items out of the display tray. The price is actually pretty decent which was pleasantly surprising. They also offer to reheat your savory treats which I thought was the best for the flavor. It was so yummy and so cute in here. I had the almond croissant, the smoked sausage bread and tried my friend's buffalo pastry as well as the nutella pastry. WOW, not a miss of the bunch. Everything was fantastic. Visited this location this afternoon with a friend to grab an afternoon coffee. The pastries are self-serve, and the cake slices and tarts are in the glass case. There was only 1 grab and go salad and very limited sandwiches. I anticipated a bigger variety, especially leading up to dinner time. I ordered a slice of the blueberry yogurt cake and an iced coffee. Customer service to me is huge and honestly determines if I would feel welcome visiting that establishment again. There was 0 customer service. Neither employee looked me in the eye when I asked questions and was extremely short with their responses to me. I went to scan my newly downloaded app to get rewards and was coldly told to tell them I had the app prior to ordering. I was taken back by the demeanor of the staff. I enjoyed my cake and the coffee was pretty good. I would mention that tables should be wiped off more frequently between customers because several tables were a bit dirty. We have visited Paris Baguette twice in two weeks and we love it. This is a mostly self serve bakery where you pick up a tray or a box if you are taking things to go, grab your own clean tongs and serve yourself from the cases of delicious looking pastries (both sweet and savory). We tried several different things on each visit and there was not one item that we chose that we would not recommend. We ordered our coffee and lattes at the cashier and they were also quite tasty. Definitely sign up for the app before you go so you can take advantage of special rewards and free items. I fell in love with Paris Baguette on my trip to Los Angeles years ago and was sad they didn't have any chain restaurants in Florida until I found this location recently! Parking can be a pain in the butt since it's in the back and the entrance is in the front. It's in a new commerce park that's very modern and aesthetic. This location is just like the other ones I've been to in LA. They have trays or to go boxes for you to get your sweet treats and as always, they're delicious! The sandwiches are good if you are here and want something like that, but I would not visit here specifically for them. The pastries are quite good and seem to be pretty fresh. Lastly, their coffee selection is decent and I enjoyed the few different lattes/coffees I have tried here. When you visit, it is self-service for pastries, but the staff was also still friendly. I finally made it into Paris Baguette today and this is such an interesting concept. My friend told me she used to go all the time in NYC and I learned that it's Korean-owned. When you walk in you see the giant pastry case full of yummy croissants, breads, donuts, tarts, etc. They also have a cooler section with breakfast sandwiches and they'll heat up/toast anything you purchase and choose to eat there. I was a little confused about how the process works, but I noticed people walking around with boxes and tongs so you can service yourself and box up your own pastries. It was fun to wander around and check out the wide variety of goodies and tasty treats they offer. Once I was able to find the boxes, I got the ham & cheese croissants which are massive but airy, a fruit croissant tart, and a slice of the blueberry chiffon pie. I took the croissants home and heated them up in the airfryer and they were perfection. I also tried to order their coconut caramel latte, but their espresso machine was down unfortunately. The nice gal at the counter was able to make me a similar beverage using cold brew instead. It was pretty good, but a bit on the sweet side and definitely missing that punch.
