Paris Baguette inside H Mart is one of those places that looks really promising at first. They have a self-serve setup is where you grab a tray and tongs and walk around picking whatever catches your eye from the cases. They'll also heat everything up for you if you're eating there, which is a nice touch. The staff was very helpful, I heard someone come up and ask about the process and they were happy to explain. I ended up getting a raspberry/nutella filled croissant and an iced mocha. The iced mocha was fine, just not very sweet (which is definitely a personal preference). But the croissant was a letdown... there was barely any filling, which honestly defeats the whole point of ordering it. Overall, I like the concept and the variety they offer, but the execution just didn't do it for me. It's one of those places I wanted to like more than I actually did. I saw this place right next to the entrance to H-Mart. Thankfully, the store is before the main shopping area of H-Mart, and you don't even need to enter the supermarket to go inside. Once I entered, I saw a lot of baked goods inside a display. I first thought that you order through the counter, and they get it, but no, you actually get it yourself! There were tongs, baking sheet, and tray, and instructions were given on how to take the pastries. I saw a few people there, as well as workers restocking and rearranging the pastries. It took me a while to pick something, because one of the workers were restocking, but I was able to grab a chocolate pon and chocolate croissant. Once I got it, went to the counter and paid, and the attendant boxed my pastries. It was about 13 dollars for the two pastries. I took it home and took some bites. They were definitely flaky, but still pretty soft and buttery. There was a decent chocolate flavor, and it tasted like real cocoa. While it was quite expensive, it was still enjoyable. It can get messy though as there were a lot of crumbs afterwards. The service was mostly do it yourself, and yet they still had a tip jar and the machine asking if you would like to tip. Why for a self service workaruant? At least the workers were friendly and helpful. There were a few tables to eat as well, but it was pretty small. Coffee/tea, breakfast and lunch items, as well as desserts were also sold. I didn't take pictures inside as i saw a sign saying no cameras were allowed at H-Mart, so I assumed this shop was also included. For a bakery shop, I would say their pastries were pretty good. Though, it was quite expensive, especially for the self service of getting the goods yourself. I know many people will visit as it is inside the H-Mart complex. Since I had a bad experience with H-Mart, I doubt I would visit this branch again. However, I will consider in visiting their other branches for some nice baked goods. Overall: B- read more

I absolutely love the garlic and honey baguette. They have so many choices to choose from. They also have some "hot" choices as well that were super delicious. We got the pepperoni and cheese as well as the ham and cheese. Super soft and tasty. The cashiers were very friendly and welcoming. I let them know it was our 1st time there. Cashiers were able to let me know how it works and they have different items in different locations. For example the garlic honey baguettes that I like, I can only get them at that location in the H mart building. Even though the place was super busy they keeped the place fairly clean. read more

We came in right when H-Mart opened and after we finished perusing inside the store, we came to the bakery. They had a good selection, but I feel like not as big a variety as their other locations. The prices were also quite high, so it felt like we couldn't try more than a couple without breaking the bank, at least compared to other bakeries. We got the hash brown and ham along with a sweet potato pastry. The sweet potato was underwhelming, but still good. The hash brown and ham was good; like a ham sandwich but baked into the flaky crust along with the hash brown, which we ate warmed up. It started to get pretty crowded by the time we finished up and we left to give others a seat. It was a clean place and the pastries seemed to be restocked often. I would say overall, it's worth checking out, but taste and prices could be better. Even over at Lotte Market, the Tous Les Jours bakery seemed more of a value. read more

We visited after shopping in H Mart and had a good experience! I am so happy they are in H Mart. I love getting treats after shopping. The pastry case looked beautiful and I love how many options they have. I got a custard pastry with fresh fruit and a savory pastry with prosciutto, arugula, cheese, and balsamic vinegar. The custard fruit pastry was my absolute favorite. Service was nice and fast and their coffee is also good. Be sure to visit them after your H Mart trip! read more
