Today, we decided to try Great Harvest Bakery that is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Center. As soon as we walked in, we really appreciated the cold A/C. And, the menu is pretty extensive for a bakery with both hot & cold sandwiches, for both lunch and breakfast, plus a few salads, lots of specialty coffee and tea drinks (most places only have coffee drinks but I'm a tea drinker), and of course bakery items and full loaves of bread. I thought I was going to get a breakfast sandwich but then saw the Ham & Brie sandwich and decided to get that. I also got a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffin and an iced tea. My friend got the Greek Salad, a can of Pepsi, and a cookie. There was plenty of seating so we grabbed a table for 2 in the corner. Our food came out quickly and the servers were very friendly when they delivered it. My sandwich had several slices of ham, thinly sliced apples, gooey Brie and apricot jam. It was very tasty and was a pretty big portion, I thought, as I didn't finish it. Same with my friend's Greek Salad, she really liked it but left some over because we wanted to eat our bakery items. Those were also really good, with the pumpkin muffin being not too spicy and having a good amount of chocolate chips. We decided we will definitely be back here during the season as we both really enjoyed it.

The turkey sandwich was too soft, had just OK flavoring, and did not look like a $12 sandwich at all. I was disappointed and feel like I could easily have made a better sandwich at home. The grilled cheese was better and had unique flavoring but still small and somewhat poor presentation. I have to give it only 3 stars because I really was not very impressed with the food. But that said, their bread looks delicious and I will be back at some point to try it. I will update my review if I feel inclined on my next visit, but as of now, I wouldn't recommend their sandwiches.

This spot is so sweet and cozy, with warm yellow walls and art everywhere. it feels like stepping into your mom's kitchen in 2003 (and I mean that in the BEST way). They have an extensive breakfast menu, and I've ordered a few things from it, and I've never had an unsatisfying meal.
