I have been meaning to try CFS Coffee on Kirkman Road for some time. It was getting late and we still wanted breakfast. CFS Coffee has an all day breakfast menu so it was an easy choice to drop in. When we got there, it was between breakfast and lunch so it wasn't too busy. Upon entering we found a menu and a table until we decided what we wanted to order. After we decided, we went to the counter and placed our order. We then returned to the table and sat to wait. My coffee came first and was presented in a beautiful blue cup and saucer. The Dirty Chai Latte is made of chai latte and espresso. It was delicious. My only complaint is that I wanted more. The serving size was definitely not enough and actually is inadequate especially for the price. Next came the food. We each had the Prime Steak and Eggs and shared the Power Protein Pancakes. The food was ok. We couldn't eat all and took the rest to go. The staff was ok. The restaurant was clean. They have an affirmation wall that I loved. My Mom did purchase a Bourbon Bread Pudding on the way out. I did have a sample of it later on in the day and it was delicious. read more

We stopped by this location after having found the CFS in Lake Nona which was excellent. The avocado toast and açaí French toast were good. The latte and chai tea were not as great as I had expected, but I was judging it off of the other location. Where we were seated, I could see the guy who took our order wash silverware and coffee cups with just his bare hands under running water that didn't appear to be hot. He wiped the silverware with a paper towel then wrapped it in a napkin and took it to a customer with their food. This did not give me great comfort in the cleanliness of the restaurant but at that time we were already finished eating our meal. I hope they rectify this issue because the food is good but the sanitizing of dishes between customer use should be better. read more

I was really interested in the protein latte and may try that next time. They have an extensive food menu an da pastry and empanadas case also. This is a local chain with Colombian influence. Casual. Service was good. Went on a Saturday and there was a surge of customers and there was only one cashier /server. Poor guy did the best he could and actually was magnificent. We ordered coffees and they took forever and were cold. Guy was nice enough to reheat. Still I find the coffee at CFS watery and not really the embodiment of what Colombian coffee is. I get bette coffee at Wawa. Could go back because some of the dishes looked interesting but if it was only based on the coffee it is a hard pass for me. read more

The ambiance is great, the coffee was great, my omelette was also great, but my potatos were burnt, and had no seasoning. My friend got the protein pancakes and he said that he liked them. My first time at this beautiful, cozy, and cute, small coffee shop. CFS, which stands for "Coffee For the Soul", it's own by a Colombian lady, and it is more than a coffee shop! It also serves all day breakfast, lunch/dinner. Their menu offers a variety of tasty food and many are plant-based options. There's one breakfast plate that got my attention and the one I will try on my next visit: "Yuca Waffles" made with bananas, mix berries, powder sugar, maple syrup and whipped cream...mmmm, sounds delicious! They also support local artist by selling to the public merchandise like handcrafted coffee mugs, knitted hand bags, and some paintings. I love that the shop has indoor and outdoor sitting. Indoors, they have a very comfy sectional couch, to sit if you're with a group of friends or family. They did not had the coffee flavor I want it, but Daniella went above and beyond to make me one just like that one I wanted and it tasted very similar to "Dulce de Leche". She was awesome! And I was very surprised and pleased to hear Alen talking about the shop history, even though it is his second day working there, very knowledgeable! It's not often I find myself near kirkman anymore, but today I turned onto kirkman and it was the first place that came to mind. They are just as fantastic as I remember!!! CFS Coffee is my favorite coffee shop. I always order the Cortado, because it gives you the best taste of that intense Colombian espresso. When I want something sweet, the Cafe Bonbon is my go-to. I also enjoy the Rainbow Lavender Latte and the Rose Latte that they have around Valentine's Day. My favorite breakfast is the Keto omelette (when it's available; I think it's seasonal) because of the shredded beef they put in it. Yum. The baristas have always been friendly and often will make latte art even on my little to-go cortados (see photo for lil flower art)! The only thing I don't tend to order are the baked goods in the glass display. The couple of times I have tried, they have tasted stale, like they have been in there for a day or two, because I don't think they bake them at that location. I've been to CFS in different locations, but to be honest this was the worse one. The food was barely cooked the waffles were wayyy too chewy, the sandwich and the potatoes were terrible potatoes super hard (not cooked). Comparing to the other locations unfortunately this one is the worse! read more

Stopped by here on a whim. We could not believe our luck. When we walked in, the vibe was really cute. They have the café set up really cool. Such an amazing combination of food selections on the menu. It was extremely hard to choose. We both had iced caramel lattes. I had the Columbian sandwich and my friend had the Bowl for the Soul. I highly recommend both items, but the Bowl for the Soul had to be one of the most delicious combinations I have ever tasted. Definitely will be back to this cute little café. read more

If you're looking for a great, local coffee shop, put CFS Coffee on your list. I love looking for new places to check out and they are absolutely worth your time. Their wood theme gives them a very cozy feel as if you're being served at someone's home. Their service compliments and confirms that intention. I prefer the indoor seating here, but they also have outdoor seating. Their menu is surprisingly extensive as they have coffee, smoothies and one of the larger food menus I've come across for a coffee joint. If you somehow don't see anything you'd like, but you have an idea in mind, they can usually accomodate. On my last visit, I tried their empenadas and had a Dulce de Leche cappuccino at their recommendation. The prices are about what you'll pay at most coffee shops and while their serving is closer to being properly portioned, I didn't mind it. They were also able to serve both the food and drink fairly quickly. The coffee was very smooth, delicious and provided a nice, mid-afternoon pick-me-up. When it comes to the empanada, while it wasn't bad, I left wishing it had just a little more spice and flavor. However, this was just one thing off the menu and not nearly enough for me to not try anything else. read more

My husband and I drop by this small coffee shop and we were pleasantly surprised. We had such a personalized experience with a relaxing ambiance. We didn't know what to order because of all the options so we told the barista what flavors we liked and she was able to whip us something perfect! I also love how toddler friendly it was for my son. I love family owned business. The server and the whole staff was really friendly. The coffee and the Art was much appreciated. It's a great spot to read a book or short study. They do offer food if you're hungry. My avocado toast was a bit on the sour side, maybe too much vinegar but I still liked it.
