Every so often I stop by and try a new little treat. Last time I came through I tried the Crookie, a croissant wrapped in a chocolate chip cookie. I thought it would be the best of both worlds, but even though it was good, I might just keep them separate from now on. I stumbled upon Tour Les Jours, a French-Asian bakery, while waiting for friends near Universal Orlando. Tour Les Jours means "Everyday" or "Daily" in English, which fits perfectly with their freshly baked everyday tagline. The space is so beautiful, minimalist and airy and an inviting feel. On the right side, is the self-serve bakery area. Just grab a tray and some tongs, pick your pastries, and head to the register when you are ready. I ordered an iced lavender latte and a few pastries: a spinach feta danish, a croissant, and another one that looked like a mini pizza (I wish I remembered the name!). We love Tous Le Jours! It's a perfect spot for coffee dates! This location is on the corner of Vineland and Kirkman Rd. It's in the center of a shopping strip anchored by Walgreens and next to a K Spot restaurant. This Tous Les Jours is bigger and has more items than most. We enjoy the mocha lattes and we love the almond and strawberry croissants. My daughter loves the milk bread loaf. Next time we will try the savory pastries. The service is prompt and friendly. This is a hidden gem of a French cafe located in a strip mall. There are so many French pastries to choose from. I just went with the basic croissant, and bought the garlic cheese and mango cream croissants to go. I had an Americano as my coffee. Both the coffee and croissant were excellent. We're regulars at the Kirkman location. The owner is the sweetest person. She always greets everyone with a smile and provides authentic customer service. Everything that we've tried is always great. I highly recommend the mushroom pastry!!!! We've purchased birthday cakes from them and it always comes with additional items like candles, matches, etc in a fancy packet. Great place to relax and enjoy a nice coffee with a pastry or a sweet! Note for improvement: I've recently noticed how cleanliness has gone DRAMATICALLY down. There is A LOT of dust accumulation in several areas of the dining room. The glass needs to be cleaned more frequently. If this is the condition you feel comfortable welcoming your customers, I cannot imagine the "behind the scenes" areas. Please don't let this great place fall behind! Had Tous Les Jours for the first time in NYC last year. I was super stoked when we visited Orlando and found out there were Tous Les Jours locations here. Last time I came here, it was around 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, if you stop into any Tous Les Jours during the afternoon time frame, they will most likely be out of everything! I know from experience with the last visit to Kirkman and another time in LA. Luckily, this time we stopped by in the morning before heading back home to South Florida on Labor Day. They were fully stocked! I was super stoked about that. Service is good here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ordered a few different things, including the purple sweet potato loaf, taro, cream bun, curry croquette, kimchi croquette, and Ube latte with a shot of espresso. The curry croquette is what I had in New York and I have been craving it ever since. It did not disappoint. I love the crispy exterior with the soft chewy interior and the flavor of the curry filling is yummy. Kimchi croquette was also good and not overpowering on the kimchi flavor. I love the exterior of both. Good savory bites. Unfortunately, the purple sweet potato loaf was disappointing. It was a very pretty purple color, the bread was soft and fluffy, but there was no sweet potato flavor whatsoever. It was bland. I was so sad because I've been looking forward to getting this bread like forever now. The taro cream bun was nice and fluffy. The cream was airy and not super sweet. I liked it, but didn't love it. I don't think I would get it again. The last time I came here, I had the ube latte. This time, I added a shot of espresso. I felt like the Ube latte was overpowered by the espresso. Either that or there just wasn't enough Ube flavor. It would've been fine if I had more Ube flavor. All in all, I would come back for the croquettes and would try new pastries or the mango cloud cake. All the cakes look yummy and remind me of my go to cake spot Paris Morning Bakery (Ari Bakery) in South Florida where the cakes are light, airy and not super sweet. Everything here looks tempting. Wow I love this literally bakery in the middle of nowhere - but perfect location during our vacation to Orlando because it was right around the corner. It's located in a not so busy plaza which was great - it's like a hidden gem. It was really chic, clean, and modern. It's a Korean French bakery. The pastries and baked goods are lined up in cases. When you enter you grab yourself a tray and some tongs and pick and choose which pastry you wish. There are even hot options. I have been to a location in North Carolina, once, so I was so excited to try this place again. You have to try to Original Croquette and the Curry Croquette both a savory choice, not too spicy, but packed with flavor. You also must must try their coffees! I ordered a Honey Lavender hot latte - just regular. Which was as amazing as it sounds. There were 2 different sizes for hot drinks but I ended up going with the 12 oz (smaller option). My friend had the iced Honey Lavender Matcha which she loved, but an interesting combination for me because it sounds like a lot of flavors. Love me a good bakery with good coffee. This isn't a mellow, dark, lowlight, coffee shop, but rather a bright, feminine daytime space decorated in white, pink pastels and gold accents. The cake was plush with the perfect amount of cream, and I love the pink and white chocolate shavings that decorated the top of my slice. I also enjoyed the packaging around the cake, especially that the top has a plastic covering so that I could take it to go with me without worrying about crushing it. *AMBIANCE* What a beautiful, spacious, clean interior! This café has ceiling to floor windows that flank the front entrance which lets in a lot of natural light and illuminates the white walls. I especially love the furniture choices and the layout of this bakery/café - they use the space well, and it feels so clean in there! There are a couple outlets lining the left side of the store when you walk in, making it perfect for studying or working. They also have reliable Wi-Fi and soft Korean music playing. Really love this café aesthetic! Only thing I would note, is if you plan to work here when the sun is setting, it will get very hot because the sun directly faces the café at sunset. *SERVICE* The servers and the owners here seem very kind and open. We've been anticipating the opening of Tous Le Jours for weeks now. The other day when we returned from a weekend away we noticed they had opened. We excitedly decided to go in today for brunch/lunch. Immediately upon entering we were underwhelmed. They just don't have as large a selection as other Korean bakeries. Nothing really enticed me. My husband was super excited to try one of the hot items, it was called something fall/autumn. He was let down it just wasn't the right temperature and lacking in flavor. I had a strawberry and cream croissant, but I mean it's really hard to screw that up. It was good, but again a croissant with whipped cream it's hard not to be good. The spinach/feta pastry had zero flavor. It also seemed just kinda sad, like had it been out since 9am? We also tried a yuzu pie which was good once you got to the filling. We're okay with this being subpar because it's too close to our house and would be dangerous if it was as good as Paris Baguette. Also I was really put off by the service we were visibly in line and they rung up someone who had ordered a cake before us. It was off putting and there was no apology. They also didn't have lemonade to make their lemonade beverages. A man who seemed to be the head baker came out at one point and scanned the bakery cases. It was just strange.
