I got a Venezuelan chicken empanada and the dulce de leche cone. I want to try the cream filled one too asap. But the Dulce de Leche was just SO amazing!

The sevice was super friendly and helpful. There is some nice outdoor seating and an area inside to sit. It is a cafe setting and you go to the counter to order. There are savory and sweet pastries and coffees. Lots of options. I love that they have Colombian and Venezuelan empanadas. The cortado is strong! Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Found this place on Yelp, a bit of a drive away from where we were staying and out of our way to the airport, very busy place and most everyone spoke Spanish except for us. I'd say this is a popular place for locals. Everyone was really nice, we didn't know the protocol but certain items you get and go and certain items are made fresh. So there's a wait yeah ours was a wait a bit longer than they mentioned and longer than hoped for but when it came out, very hit a fresh and way bigger than expected. The breakfast flatbread was stacked high with fluffy scrambled eggs nice pieces of real bacon and cheese. The breakfast croissant was big and nice soft egg. This place has amazing looking desserts and pastries items, coffee and coffee drinks. Nice and clean and super friendly staff

This review is for the NEW International Drive location (not currently on YELP). Small Colombian chain coffee shop is a strip center. This site is relatively new and this is my first visit to a Fortuna Bakery & Cafe. Not a lot of seating but ample now. The atmosphere is basic, but bright and upbeat with Latin music. They offer a limited variety of pastries and baked goods. They also have a menu with various breakfast items, coffees, smoothies, bowls, salads, and sandwiches. The Colombian staff were friendly and understood my English and pointing at the menu. (This can be challenging at some Columbian cafes) I had the 'build your own' waffle and a cappuccino. Their coffee was bold, very good and the waffle excellent. Light and airy, with a ton of your choice toppings. I thought it a good value. I recommend you check them out.

This is my second time stopping by and I got two Colombian empanadas and a hot cappuccino with whipped cream and cinnamon. The place is small and only has seating outside. They have a lot of options for sweet treats and some quick bites. The employees are friendly and quick to take your order; they speak mainly Spanish but the first time I visited I ordered in English and had no issues communicating. The coffee was decent and looked pretty with the cream overflowing the cup but I needed to ask for a larger cup size as the lid wouldn't close . The empanadas were good and it came with prepackaged hot salsa. The shop is located in a small plaza and parking lot is limited to 30 minutes. Good little spot to go to if you're craving a sweet treat or some Empanadas.

Overall great experience. Ordered a few of the breads. And a Colombian chicken empanada, yummy... but a bit too greasy for my taste. Service was also pleasant and the location was really clean.

Cannot say enough good things about this bakery! It was amazing, the food and service. They were all very welcoming and nice, but the food was obviously the show! We loved everything we got, though I don't remember the names besides chicharron (which was so crispy and chewy, I fell in love). There was some seating outside and people sitting, so I assume it's a nice place to chill, though I got takeout. I highly recommend just trying whatever looks good-- you'll probably like it!

    Two Pan de Bonos

My favorite Columbian bakery! I ordered two pan de bonos and OMG they were delicious! It's a cheese bread and its just amazing! I also tried a guava pan de bono and lord have mercy was it absolutely mouthwatering! Next time I'm ordering like 10 of them! I got a mini tres leches and it was ok, I wasn't a fan of the whipped topping but the actual cake was so good and very moist! To drink I got the Oatmeal drink and it was sooooooo good! I can't wait to come back to try more things!

Just left a Convention in Orlando and heading home but needed a coffee stop and really didn't want Starbucks. This was a great find for good coffee and some baked goods too. While the woman at the counter didn't speak English, no problem--as cafe con leche and empanadas and tequenos did not need translation We were going to take it to go, but they have a few tables out front and with the cool breeze blowing outside, we decided to enjoy it all without delay.

This is the best bakery in central FL and I always make a point to go in person or order from them when I visit. We ordered a dozen empanadas to go for New Years. They have the baked ones but we got the traditional corn ones, half with chicken filling and half with beef filling. We asked for extra ají and they gave us a whole bag full. My family also regularly gets the almojábanas and roscón - with either arequipe and guava filling. Their breads are all amazing and made throughout the day so typically no matter what time you go in you can get them fresh. The staff that work at this location and the other two locations are so friendly and helpful, and all speak Spanish.

The buñuelo had not too much filling. I had ordered a cake and didn't really enjoy it. The service was fine when ordering.

It came with two sides, I had the tostones and salad. It was alright, but I definitely had better. I ordered it to eat it there and they put all the sauces in to-go containers, which was weird. The sauces were in such tiny containers, you definitely would need more. My friend got the mushroom arepa and a side of the sweet plantains that she really enjoyed. Service was good. The girl taking our order was super nice and polite. It was more like one step up from fast/food and self-served. You order at the counter and they give you a number for your table and they bring out the food to the table and you clean up after yourself.

On Saturday night, I was on my home from shopping and driving around with my husband and decided to place a pickup order. We were close to the restaurant, so we knew we had to wait a bit until our order was ready. We got into the parking lot, which was packed and had to park right by the restaurant building while we waited; no problem. Fifteen minutes passed and I got a text that the order was ready. I proceeded inside and went to the bar (pickup bar?). As I got there, I told a server I was there for pickup and told her my name. She told me that my order would be coming out shortly. I waited a few minutes and decided to look at the receipts that were with the orders and did not see my name. There were a few orders that I could not see the name; not even the receipt and I did not want to touch the orders, so I kept waiting. I waited about 16 minutes until another server asked for my name. She looked at the order right in front of me and handed it to me. Ridiculous! The ambiance in the restaurant is very fun, and again, their food is delish, but their pickup process sucks. Sorry, no pictures as I was upset and starving.
