Of course after a very long trip through customs, he was quite hungry. Unfortunately, we found the place that we normally go to doesn't have any true vegetarian options anymore as they no longer use designated friers and cooking utensils for vegetarian meal preparation. So I hopped on HappyCow and did a little searching for some vegetarian options that would meet our needs. I found this place quite close to where we had been and figured I would give it a whirl. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were elated. We might make a random trip to Orlando now and then just to have food from here. Food - 10/10. Let's start with the unique flavor combinations. They are absolutely on point. Everything blends in perfect harmony to create these delightful flavors. My husband Buffalo BLT bowl. I originally picked this out for myself but when my husband also said he wanted this I deferred to him and pick something different so we could try a few different things. Of course I had to sample a bite and I can definitely say I'm not giving it over to him next time I'm ordering the whole thing for myself. It was heavenly. For myself, I had the Asian honey barbecue sandwich. It was equally sublime. One of the pieces of toast was a little hard, but with the moisture of the sandwich it kind of gave way pretty quickly, so I'm sure they just over toasted it a bit anticipating since I was taking it to go that I might need a little longer of structure in the sandwich. The little side salad that they have with it has the most delightful dressing. I'm so glad I picked the side salad over the chips. Portion-wise it's the perfect size for me but since we weren't quite sure how hungry my husband was, we also ordered the chips and guac, which come with vegan queso. Their guac is perfect. Absolutely loved it and the queso there were no complaints either except that I was full long before my husband and he kept trying to have me eat more because they were so good and he didn't want to be greedy and take it all for himself. As I said, we will definitely be back because I want to try more of the menu items. This clearly will be a regular stopping us for Orlando travels because it is exactly what we love to see in vegetarian food. Atmosphere - 9/10. The location is a bit Northeast on I-4 and kind of tucked away in a little ground level of what looks to be office buildings. The interior has a cute industrial look to it with comfortable seating and beautiful decor. It's very fun and hip and gives you a very relaxed, casual and welcoming feel. Service - 10/10. In addition to wonderful food this fantastic shop has fantastic staff. From the lovely woman who took our order and prepared the food to a gentleman who seemed to perhaps be the proprietor, everyone was so very kind. As other customers came in who were obvious regulars, they were so warmly greeted, but it didn't make me feel like any less attention was given to me as a first time visitor. It is quite obvious through the beautiful food and the creative location and the kind and generous employees that they really care about the food they prepare. And I can't wait to try this place again.

rosso's is beautiful. the in & outside of the building is gorgeous and the ambiance is great. i…read morelive just a few minutes away so i have come a handful of times because i like to support local cafes instead of the chains. i usually buy a latte, and i try out a lot of different flavors (usually their seasonal/special flavors). but every single time i buy a drink, i can't taste any flavoring whatsoever. which seems to be a repeating issue as i have come regularly over the course of a year and every single time, the drink disappoints. this is never an issue with any other cafe i go to, so i'm not sure where the disconnect is. for how expensive these drinks are, i want to taste something good, but all i've ever got was watered down espresso and a little milk. my most recent visit was also quite awkward. usually the owner is at the counter and she's very friendly. she asks about myself and tries to remember my name which is sweet. but this time there was a man taking my order and he spent the entire interaction correcting my pronunciation while i was ordering. i couldn't get through a whole sentence without him interjecting with a correction. and because he was too busy talking over me, he kept forgetting my order. and he kept asking me, over and over again, what my order was. i had a very simple order too, literally just a latte and something from their baked goods case. i really wanted to tell him to chill out, because as someone who works in customer service, you want to bring IN business, not make customers feel dumb for pronouncing something differently from you. i've never had an issue at any other cafe or restaurant for saying the word the way i do. honestly i think rosso is overpriced for the lack of quality. i really want to like their drinks. i really do. i live 5 minutes away and pass it every day on my way to work. and i order coffee 2-3 times a week. but rosso is just not worth it to me.

Unfortunately, my most recent visit was disappointing because of the interaction I had with an employee named Adora. I always order the egg white sandwich with over-easy eggs instead, and while I completely understand that mistakes happen, the sandwich had to be remade multiple times before it came out correctly. That part did not bother me at all - what bothered me was the attitude and demeanor I experienced from this employee while trying to get it resolved. A friend of mine mentioned she has had a similar experience with the same employee, which made me feel like this may not have been an isolated situation. That makes me sad because this really is one of our favorite places to visit, and I would hate for other customers to leave feeling uncomfortable or dismissed. I still absolutely recommend this spot, and one bad experience will not keep us away. I just hope this can be addressed so future customers have the same warm, welcoming experience that made us love this place in the first place.
