I stopped by to take some new things to try to my friend and these were a hit! I got the red velvet donut and the ube and chocolate puffs. The store is clean and they have a large selection of flavors that rotate weekly. It is a nice add to the area.

This place was super busy the first few weeks of opening. I finally got to try it today! *The staff was kind and friendly. *They offer a small variety of options, including Rice hotdogs (ranging from 5-7 dollars) Milk tea + Fruit tea (6-7 dollars) Mochinut-balls (6 piece $14) (Dozen $26) Mochinut (3 for $9) (6 for $16.50) (Dozen for $30) *The corn dog took over 15 minutes even though we were the only ones. Everything was tasty but nothing to go crazy about. The donuts were overly sweet and thick. The corn dog was okay to me but my sister loved it so much!! The inside was really clean, bright, and colorful. I would be back to try other items.

Wrong item Original... not what I ordered, it was supposed to have been Original Mozzarella

1-Star Review for Mochinut - Apopka, FL I had a truly disappointing experience at this location. I arrived at 7:30 PM (they close at 9), only to find they were completely out of donuts. When I asked the young lady at the counter if more would be made, she simply said, "No." I decided to order two Korean corn dogs instead--specifically the original mozzarella cheese ones, as listed on the sign. I clearly said "original cheese," and she repeated it back. I asked how long it would take and was told five minutes. I waited in my car a bit longer than that, went back in, picked up the order, and drove 30+ minutes home. When I got home, I handed one of the corn dogs to my daughter--only to discover both corn dogs contained meat. My daughter is a vegetarian and doesn't eat meat, so the entire order was ruined. I called the store immediately. A young woman answered, and I explained what happened. She located the order but casually said, "Oh, she probably didn't hear you say cheese." I paid in cash and wasn't even given a receipt. When I asked what could be done, I was told, "There's nothing we can do. Sorry. She makes mistakes sometimes." Seriously? That's the response? No offer to fix the order, no apology for the inconvenience, and no sense of customer care. I drove out of my way, paid money for something I didn't receive, and all I got was a brush-off. It's frustrating and honestly insulting to be treated like my business doesn't matter. I've been to the Sand Lake location many times and never had an issue. They get it right and treat their customers with respect. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the Apopka location. This was my first time--and it will be my last time visiting this location. Poor service, poor communication, and no accountability. Do better.

Not to be dramatic but... WHEN I DIE BURY ME WITH MOCHI DONUTS. I don't like sweets. I don't even like donuts. These are a GAME CHANGER for someone who doesn't love overly sweet pastries. I couldn't believe how I became IMMEDIATELY OBSESSED with this spot and their donuts. I haven't even had their Korean dogs yet, but I'm sure they're fantastic. I'll be back. About 100 times.

This was a solid find. I went twice and ordered a couple different items. My favorite would be the Korean dogs with the cheese inside. My young daughter had to try the hot Cheetos cheese. The cheese pull was unbelievable! We loved the donuts and the beverages. I definitely will be back for more of the Korean dogs.

Stopped by here for a quick treat and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was! They have quite a few different items to try - donuts, corn dogs, drinks, soft serve, and coffee - so there's something to satisfy every craving. We tried the donuts and corn dogs. There were still lots of flavors to choose from even when we came later in the evening at around 7pm. The donuts were pretty tasty as well. However, despite their focus being donuts I think the true stars of the show were the corn dogs. PLEASE do yourself a favor and try the sweet potato corn dog - it was absolutely delicious!! My only regret is not getting a second one so I didn't have to share haha. They have quite a few sauces available to add even more flavor as well!! Service was also nice and prompt. Looking forward to coming back and trying their other offerings!

We waited for them to open and it was worth the wait! We had time this weekend to go and it did not disappoint. The location is cute and has a little bit of seating. The staff were excited for us to visit and very welcoming. All of the Korean corndogs are made to order, so it takes a few minutes but well worth it. It's delicious and the cheese pulls are epic. The donuts were fresh and so yummy. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch and strawberry delight were my favorite. Can't wait to go back!

First time visiting Mochinut in Apopka. The hot cheetos and potato dogs are delicious.

Came today on opening day and it was crowded to be expected for their first day and I got the strawberry and I'm guessing peanut butter donut it's weird when I asked the girl who worked there what that was she has no idea and there's no sign but also the other frustrating part was that she was not doing drinks in order so other people that ordered after me got their drinks before me but when I finally got everything I took it home to try it since to was too crowded inside and both the donuts and my brown sugar boba was good. I would come back again but after a few months after it slows down.

It was good! I've had better Korean corn dogs. That being said I did not try their crazy flavors like hot Cheetos or Takis Koran corn dog. I also think they messed up my Ube milk tea... I don't think it technically is supposed to have tapioca... but I thought it was yummy! lol The donuts are ready to go and the milk tea did not take that long. The corn dog was yummy! Overall everyone that worked there was happy and friendly! The place itself is very well decorated and super trendy. I love the neon signs!

I had a tea-rrific experience at this mochinut! I accidentally ordered the wrong drink (totally my fault), but Frankie swooped in like a flavor fairy and kindly swapped it for the Mango Peach Tea--10/10, liquid sunshine! Their kindness turned my day around and my taste buds into believers. Frankie deserves a raise and a halo. I came for tea, but I left with pure siperfection. Will be back weekly.

Wow! This is an update because I wanted to see if they would improve and they absolutely have!!! I immediately tasted the difference. Fresh oil and ingredients were used. Happy I went back, I will continue to try out their new flavors!!

Another reviewer accurately described it as a "cronut", or a mash-up of a croissant and a doughnut. The texture is different but the sweet factor is intact! We chose a Saturday morning to visit because our son was available and wanted to check out Parlor, since he is a doughnut aficionado. We found plenty of available parking spots. The bright interior with east-facing windows and white and blue tile made for a cheery atmosphere. Of course the doughnuts and good service add to the brightness. A French Toast doughnut, Spinach Pesto Breakfast Sandwich (a lovely savory and served in a ciabatta roll), and Proper Coffee (drip) were ordered on this visit and throughly enjoyed while sitting on comfy chairs. The laid-back, family-friendly character of the shop was a welcome change. I'd like to return in the near future after 11 am when the Savory Layered Doughnuts are being served!

The Vibe: The interior is super cute and inviting, and the staff was friendly. The parking lot is on the smaller side, but we got lucky and found a spot easily since it wasn't too busy when we arrived. What We Ordered: * Raspberry Filled Donut * "Sandy Beach" (cinnamon roll-style) * Two Cold Brews They still had a great variety of donuts available, even later in the afternoon, which was a nice surprise. The Donuts: Here's where it comes down to personal preference. These are not your traditional donuts--they're more like a croissant-donut hybrid (think cronut) with a layered, slightly brioche-like texture. Flaky, layered--not your classic donut. If you love that style, you may really enjoy these. For us, we were expecting a more traditional donut, and unfortunately the texture just wasn't our favorite. The Sandy Beach had great flavor, but the texture didn't quite land for me. The raspberry filled had a very standard berry filling that leaned a bit artificial. Drinks: The cold brew was also a miss for us--a bit too acidic and not as smooth as we'd hoped. Overall: While the flavors and textures weren't quite what we were looking for, I can definitely see the appeal for those who enjoy a cronut-style donut. Friendly service and a cute space made for a pleasant visit overall. One thing that did catch our eye is that they offer savory donuts, which sounded really interesting--we'd definitely come back to give those a try. Pro tip: Go in knowing these are croissant-style donuts, not traditional cake or yeast donuts--it makes all the difference.

I'll just wait for them to come to me." Well... I finally caved and got tired of waiting. First off, I'm not a morning person... so the whole "donuts and coffee" at 8am isn't my thing. I was not too thrilled about having to wake up at 6am just to be able to get to try the flavors I wanted before they were all sold out. (FYI: You can order ahead online, but that option can sell out fast too) Also, I'll take a bad yeast donut over a good cake donut any day. Those extravagant Voodoo doughnuts over at Universal are no match for a plain old Krispy Kreme donut straight off the conveyer belt in my humble opinion. This food truck is all cake donuts, so I was a bit skeptical. I'm happy to say, these donuts are insanely good. There were 22 flavors available, and we ordered them all. The most popular, "frosted crack" and "maple bacon", were definitely 2 of my favorites. Simple flavors, yet so delicious. The "French Toast" and the "Cookie Butter" were also high up on my list of must-tries. Even something as conventional as the "chocolate with sprinkles" was friggin amazing. I'm pretty sure it all had to do with the fact that none of these felt like the typical cake donut you would find at Dunkin Donuts. They were way more light and airy than usual. It was almost a mix between a yeast donut and a cake donut, and they were tremendous. It also might have to do with the fact that they were all just freshly made. That also makes a huge difference. What I like about this place is that they don't go overboard with toppings. They just let the flavors do the talking. They don't just throw crushed-up snickers bars, skittles, and whole Oreos on top for the hell of it. They keep it more traditional, and I like that. Makes them way easier to eat as well. The people in the truck themselves are very friendly. The guy that helped us seemed really proud of his product, as he should be. They even have complimentary Starbucks coffee for people as they waited. With a long line at 8 in the morning, it was very much appreciated. Overall, this small and unassuming food truck in the middle of a dirt lot in Mt. Dora ended up having some of the best donuts I've ever tried. Tons of flavors, yet a simplistic theme runs through all of them... flavor. Every bite feels like it's worth the carbs, and I love that. They look great, and taste even better. My only negative about this place is that it's not closer... but that's just me being selfish.
