    Custom designed cake

When it comes to the Apopka area, this is the best cake bakery I've ever had. Everything is fresh, especially when I have to get a special cake order for my parties, They always come out the best. I have a few photos to prove how good of a baker they are. All my birthday parties and family birthday parties I have so many comments on where did I get this cake from? They love it.

Last time I passed this place, I put it on my need to visit list. We made it there right before closing and made some quick choices that turned out soooo good! Got a butterscotch cookie that had the right amount of chewy to it and a good array of flavors. Could have eaten 3 or 4 of them. Had to get the Reeces bar and it is way better than the real think. The peanut butter part is smooth and creamy with the right amount of PB taste. The chocolate is good quality and makes the whole thing addicting. Seriously, I want more of these. We also tried the cake cups. I got a vanilla cake with a chocolate buttercream frosting that was a little bit salted. This stuff was good! This is one of those rare bakery places that really knows what they're doing and provides good quality bakery items.

Okay.... you have to stop here!!!!! I only saw this place because of the "gingerbread here" sign outside. This is a quaint little shop with TONS of treats to tantalize your tastebuds. Take a look at the menu options. There is a little something for everyone and told you're looking for a "scrap cup", you can get those here too!!!!! A++++++++++++++

The sponge bob "you know what's funnier then 24? 25" Cake.

My first time ordering from Aunt Gingibreads Bakery. My son wanted a specific cake which I wasn't sure I could find. A sponge bob 25th birthday cake. I saw a posting on Facebook about this bakery. So I decided to go and check out the bakery. I went about a month in advance in the event I couldn't get it there. I walked in a nice homey family style bakery. the gentleman at the counter was informative and took the order said they would email me with the specific questions on the details on the cake. I provided the picture of what I wanted via email then they sent me an Invoice confirming date of pick up and price. Very professional. The cake was awesome! it was art, exactly what he wanted and it was delicious. Everyone at his party admired it and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Aunt Gingibreads bakery to everyone.

I am mixed on my review. I visited yesterday to try some of their baked goods after waiting weeks to try them out... I came mainly for the cheddar bacon black pepper biscuits, candied bacon, scones, and oatmeal cream pies. I didn't end up getting any scones or candied bacon. But I got the biscuits and the oatmeal cream pies. The scones looked a little off, so I decided to pass on them. First off, the cheddar bacon black pepper biscuits were great, moist, salty and tasty. The oatmeal cream pies were moist and chewy, but I couldn't get over the strong molasses flavor coming from the icing, and a little bit of molasses from the cookie itself - all I could taste was molasses, and I was not a huge fan, I would not get them again. The service was kinda funny. I agree with some of the other reviewers that I didn't receive a warm hello or greeting. The service was cold and I felt like we were interrupting them when we walked in. I may come back and give them another try, but I am not overly anxious to do that.

Aunt Gingibread's Bakery is the cutest and most delicious little hidden gem that I have come across in a long time. Being a huge fan of bakeries I am not sure how I have missed this place. I was so impressed with the hometown feel of the bakery and the warm reception of the owner. This bakery specializes in making beautiful custom cakes, special occasion cakes, cupcakes, cookies, bread and much more. I purchased a loaf of bread, a cookie sandwich and a brownie & cookie sandwich. The bread was deliciously soft and crusty. It was tasty enough not to have seen the light of the next day. The cookies disappeared very quickly and what was left in their place was a desire for more. I will be returning often to Aunt Gingibread's Bakery and I highly recommend that you do the same.

On my way to the Apopka Foliage and Art Festival I spotted a sign advertising Margarita cupcakes and I decided to stop by afterwards. Small cute bakery with a small counter displaying some baked goods. There was not that many cupcakes displayed but the attendant made me aware of cupcakes flavors that he could make on the spot..including the Margarita. So I ordered the Margarita and the Banana pudding...Both excellent choices. The banana pudding was very delicious, super moist and flavorsome. My favorite the Margarita cupcake full of flavors...the icing was a light bitter-sweet lime taste, the cake was moist, fluffy and succulent with a serious kick of tequila...Yummy!!! I will gladly visit again!

Nikki works out of a local church and her cakes look and taste Devine. I went through her online reviews and decided to sample the carrot cake and red velvet cake. I gave them to my daughter and neighbor for Easter. The flavor profiles were spot on: Moist, balanced, and perfectly baked. The carrot cake cream cheese icing was perfection in every bite. The process: Nikki called soon after I placed my order online and I received a date within 3 business days to pick up, she also delivers locally for $5. I met her in the Church parking lot, she was easy to spot with a big smile and a shirt that read Nikki. She let me peek at some of the cakes she was delivering and let me tell you, they looked gorgeous. I just ordered again, this time the peach bundt cobbler. She's very patient and I appreciate that they check in with you about your order. They are very accommodating about delivery and pick ups located in a central area, which is very convenient. Looking forward to my next order from these owners.

Have you ever wondered what German pastry heaven would look like?…read moreWell, look no further, Yalaha Bakery is what you've been dreaming of! My husband and I have been searching for a German bakery since we both have a sweet tooth for baked goodies. He's been telling me about how legendary German goulash tastes since before we got married (it's been a few years now ) and the Yalaha Bakery menu mentioned seasonal soup including goulash so of course we had to stop here. We visited on a rainy Wednesday afternoon around 4:45 pm. This place has modest architecture and a small parking lot, but don't let that fool you since as soon as you open the door, there are 4 glorious levels of tasty treats under a refrigerated glass display and fresh bread in shelves behind the counter. There were about 4 customers in the shop and a few others that came in while we were ordering. Everything looked so delectable, so it was hard to choose from the huge variety! Our bakery order ended up being quite large, so I'm glad my husband brought the cooler with him. We got 1 rhubarb pie (for a gift), 1 rhubarb streusel (another gift), 1 apple streusel, 1 German apple pie, 1 tiramisu, 2 lavender shortbread cookies, 1 eclair, 1 cream horn, 1 Brazilian caramel bar, 4 pretzel rolls, and 4 large pretzels. There might be a few other things as well. The order was about $125 with tip. Excellent customer service by the counter girl, and she was very patient while we were deciding on things. After we packed our pastries in the cooler, we went back to check out the deli section. They had a lot of German deli items to choose from, but what I was really interested in was the goulash. The very kind counter lady (possibly the owner?) took my order, and I couldn't have asked for a heartier, soul-warming soup for about $6. The meat was cooked to soft perfection. The veggies (peppers, tomato, and potato if I recall correctly) melted away while you sipped the soup that tasted like it was made by your favorite extra-skilled German grandma. I was in stew heaven. Of course, I shared a few spoonfuls with my husband, and it was gone in a few minutes. All in all, we discovered that Yalaha Bakery is a hidden gem in Yalaha, FL. If you love bakeries and handmade treats like we do, this is a great place to visit. Prepare your bank account to splurge on pastries, artisan German bread, and remember to stop by the deli! We'll be back again next time we're in the area on one of our road trips.

Elegant, glossy, and almost too pretty to eat. Almost. Taste & Texture: 4/5 -- This cake is RICH rich. My only little "ehhh" was the texture of the glaçage drip. Personally, it wasn't my favorite mouthfeel--but listen, that did NOT stop my fork from continuing its ministry.
