I also had the Turkish tea and coffee, both of which were rich, and spot on. Vibes: Relaxed and cozy, great for small to medium sized groups. It does get busy, and since you pick your own table, it can be a little tricky if you're coming with a larger group. But overall the atmosphere is warm, welcoming and perfect for a chill breakfast. My best friend and I stopped in for breakfast and we finally got to visit Sourdough Bread. She went with the unsweetened iced tea and while I did the waffle ($11). The waffle was tasty and so filling. I was able to taste a bite of each of my bestie's meal: the hummus was amazing as was the salmon and lox, the avocado could have used a bit of red onion bits for a bit more bite but it was also tasty. We had such a great breakfast at Sourdough Bread House! The bread is amazing and we enjoyed everything we got. We split the Avocado Breakfast Panini and the Menemen with Soudjouk. The Avocado Breakfast Panini is made on two thick pieces of sourdough, with avocado, eggs, and cheddar. It is way bigger than I was expecting, and so yummy! The bread was really the star and I am still thinking about the bread. You also get a small plate with about four pieces of fruit. The Menemen was also fabulous! It featured lots of fresh ingredients and I loved the flavor. It was also served with some slices of sourdough and jam & butter. It also comes with a small plate of fruit. All of the workers were super friendly, and even though it was crowded when we went, we had great service. It has a cozy and lively feel inside, and it felt so welcoming. The service was fantastic, with our server checking on us just enough (not too little, not too much). My husband went with the Menemen with Soudjouk -- scrambled eggs, peppers, onions, tomatoes and sausage. It came with a huge slice of sourdough and their butter & jam. He gave me a bite of everything and it was to die for. I went with avocado toast (I know, very millennial of me) and it was gorgeous and so delicious. I really want to come back and get the sourdough bread plate -- basically 2 pieces of sourdough cut in half with various spreads! I saw someone else order it and knew it had to be my next thing to try! There were others sitting and ordering from their table, but there was also many coming in and just grabbing a loaf of sourdough to go! I love this concept: bake great sourdough bread, and then put stuff on it! We went for lunch and had the Sourdough Bread Plate and the Cold Meat Plate. Both were excellent. It had some yummy Turkish spices in the blend. Heyyyyyyy you guyyyys! Have been intrigued to try this spot bc I love sourdough. This is Turkish cuisine, a bit pricy but the portions are huge!! So shareable for sure, we had an American breakfast, a bacon, egg & cheese sandwich and an avocado and egg panini. All were tasty, fresh tasting ingredients, made to order. I don't understand how they make their scrambled eggs with cheese SO darn good!!! They somehow keep the eggs soft scrambled style while melting all the cheeses (3 kinds) so you can't even tell there's cheese in there. It must be a Turkish way to prepare the eggs. Every time I come here I want to buy a loaf of bread. It is just so good. Service is a little slow bc I don't think there's a ton of staff- however they're very nice and it honestly never is a problem. Inside, it's super bright and cheery in there. I'm so glad my friend and I stumbled across this place! They had breakfast and lunch which all looked so good. The restaurant felt cozy as well. My friend ordered the Philly cheesesteak and I ordered the chicken Philly cheesesteak. The bread was so soft and the flavor was really good. Only nit picky thing I have is that the crust was tough to chew through after a couple of bites. I would definitely go back again though and try another plate. When we checked out from the place, we ordered some cookies to go and I will say my double chocolate chip cookie was delicious with coffee later that day. The best sourdough I have ever had. This place is worth the hype! Food is absolutely delicious and fantastic, full of flavor. Their Sourdough is to die for, i brought it back to my family and we ate the whole loaf within 3 days. Could not recommend the avocado toast more! It was delicious, and the sourdough had crispy edges and a soft middle- so fresh. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was nice, nothing crazy. Turkish sausage was very similar to a chorizo, and while it looks like a coffee shop, they only have regular and Turkish coffee... no lattes. Great find. read more

Besides the restaurant name letting you know they serve sourdough bread, this is also a Turkish breakfast and lunch cafe. It's very nice inside, airy with neutral touches. For sit down service, we were told to pick a table. The place was pretty busy which I took as a good sign. We wanted to try something different so didn't get an omelet or pancakes. Instead, my husband got the Soudjouk Panini and a Turkish coffee while I got the Sourdough Bread Plate. The Turkish coffee presentation was very interactive. On a round wooden platter was the coffee in a small cup, a glass of lemon water and a Turkish delight treat. The server explained you take a sip of the water, then the coffee, then the treat. Or you can dip the treat in the coffee. My Turkey tea was delivered in the traditionally shaped glass and a tiny spoon. Delicious. Then our meals were delivered -- these sourdough bread slices are HUGE! My husband's sandwich was very tasty with the spicy sausage going well with the mild cheese. I got four half slices of bread -- one spread with labneh cheese (tasted like cream cheese), one topped with smoked salmon, one with hummus and one with smashed avocado. On the side was ezme spread and a few pieces of fruit. I ended up putting the salmon and labneh together like a sandwich -- yummy! The hummus was great too and I topped the avocado with ezme. It was all great and I'm glad we went outside our comfort zone. The menu items are pricey but we did take home half of our food so each item really makes two meals. read more

I tried out this place for lunch and got a breakfast panini and almond cake. The almond cake was really good! It wasn't too sweet, soft, and moist. You can tell it was made fresh that day. It was also gluten free. The breakfast panini was huge and delicious. I kind of wasn't expecting it to be a regular sandwich, I thought it would be toasted or pressed and toasted. The bread has a very soft and spongy texture. It's probably better to have it fresh in the restaurant because the steam in the to go box changed the texture a bit. read more

The only heads up I will give you is the Turkish coffee if you're not familiar with it it is a little bit bitter. I ordered that with recommended platter and was so taken it back by the taste. I've loved this company since their location in Maitland. The menu didn't change much, but they added some breads and pastries! This location is much more spacious and modern looking then the last location! I was excited to give this location a try. The special of the day board was a nice touch! The waitress was very sweet and patient with my guest and I ordering and being indecisive (too many amazing options haha). At the end, I also got a slice of Lavender Banana Bread to take home.
