The trio I got for my family.

I stopped by before heading to my parents' house and its always fun bringing them sweets. It used to be named differently but still sold sweets. I purchased one each of the guava cupcakes, the black forest cupcake, and the lemon one ($4 each). I was hoping for the lemon pound cake, but they didn't have it today. I tasted a bit of the guava one, and the cake was tasty and not dry. The lemon one had a bit of lemon curd on the inside, and it made me wish I had a second one to eat. That's how tasty it was. It makes me want to order a cake because I know it will be amazing.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Pablo and he was super friendly and engaging and told me the story of this place.

They offer an impressive variety of fillings, so there's something for everyone. Our table sampled several flavors, and the unanimous favorite was the Philly Cheesesteak empanada--crispy, flaky pastry wrapped around a savory, flavorful filling that disappeared almost instantly. For my entrée, I ordered the Chicken Milanesa and added tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. That simple addition took an already delicious dish to another level. The chicken was perfectly breaded, tender, and comforting with every bite. Just when we thought we couldn't eat another thing, we ordered the Nutella empanada for dessert. It was warm, flaky, filled with rich Nutella, and the perfect sweet ending to a terrific meal. Between the delicious food, generous menu options, and welcoming atmosphere, Alma Argentina delivered a dining experience we'll definitely be talking about--and returning for. If you're in Celebration, don't miss it!

We also had the milanesa a caballo with eggs on top; the only recommendation would be to ask how you'd like your eggs cooked. The service was great very attentive and fast. The staff even treated us to a delicious tapa: bread topped with chimichurri and chorizo, which was a really nice touch. Would definitely recommend this place for both lunch and dinner.

We made a reservation as it was father's day and had no issues with sitting right away when we got there. Service was good as well. The pricing was pretty high: $40 for their house-vacio and $60 for the larger size. Mine was more rare than I requested which at a steak place is a major ding. The house side salad was good, the empanadas trio was good, but the provoleta which is a traditional Argentinian appetizer was just so so.

We started with three empanadas -- Classic Argentinian, Mediterranean Beef, and Corn -- with the option of fried or baked. We went with fried for both texture and flavor, and that proved to be the right call. Each empanada was thoughtfully labeled on the crust for easy identification, a small detail that was appreciated at the table. All were generously filled and well executed, but the corn empanada was the standout for me, offering a slightly sweet, comforting balance that kept me going back for another bite. The house chimichurri, packed with garlic and fresh herbs, was an excellent addition and elevated both the empanadas and later the steak with bright, punchy flavor. For the main course, I ordered the house steak with fries. The cut is an outside skirt steak, typically known for having more flavor than an inside skirt, and it arrived cooked to a perfect medium rare. The steak had a nice beefy flavor, though it leaned a bit tough in texture and, in my opinion, could benefit from an overnight marinade to help tenderize the meat further. The fries were fresh, crisp, and paired nicely with both the steak and chimichurri. Service was friendly and the overall experience felt relaxed and welcoming. A solid first visit with flavorful offerings and a few standout items -- I'd gladly return to explore more of the menu, especially the empanadas.

The steak sandwich was recommended to me and no regrets trying it. The steak was cooked well and it was so tender. The chicken empanada was scrumptious. Saving the spinach one for breakfast. The thing that jumped out at me the most was the Tango burger, everything that I shouldn't be eating but sounded like brunch to me: bacon, fried egg, ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, chimichurri, beef patty, with a side of fries. Yup I'm doing this. The burger came out in about 5 mins and it looked amazing. I picked the whole thing up and went to town on it. The chimichurri sauce brought every other major ingredient together. I probably should have offered some to my friend but I was greedy this day and ate it all while she tried their chicken empanadas. They were about the size of your hands and super-stuffed with meat. The empanada itself was alot softer than what I was used to, which was a harder, deep-fried crust but that allowed for it's seasoned to perfection filling to be the star. Both items were very good. If they come back up from Central FL definitely give them a try :)
