Snow Tea Caffe is a hidden gem! I've been coming here for a few years for their Taiwanese cuisine. I believe this is a family owned restaurant. We usually order at the counter and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. This place is cute and cozy with modern decor and a fun mural. It's clean and offers a chill vibe, and located near UCF. It offers a variety of boba drinks and teas. There's a small food menu but I've enjoyed all the items I've ordered so far. My go-to is the beef noodle soup which is flavorful and simple, yet so delicious. The beef is super tender and the chopped mustard greens elevates the taste. I always get a side of the hot chili peppers which is added goodness! I'm a soup gal so this place is where I like to get my soup fix when the weather gets cold. Another favorite is the fried chicken thighs appetizer. It's crunchy and well seasoned, not greasy. You get a nice portion. I'm also a big fan of the mixed fruit tea with crystal boba. You get your choice of sweetness level. The fresh cut fruits inside is also a nice touch. Every time I stop in I'll see a steady flow of Asian customers, so you know this has got to be authentic. Recently they started offering specials on different days of the week. Hopefully it will bring in more customers. It's worth the visit if you want some Taiwanese comfort food. It's been a while since I've been here, and their food is still awesome. Authentic Taiwanese food. The shaved ice is flavorful, definitely recommend the matcha. And it's nice and peaceful for dine-in. My mother loves their beef noodle soup. She says it tastes like what she used to get when she was in Taiwan, but better. The food really reminds me of Taiwanese food. Everything tastes pretty close, if not the same, as what you would find in Taiwan. The only thing I have a preference for is the marinated soy egg. They make it sweeter than what I'm used to since I prefer it more in the saltier side, but the flavor was really soaked in (which is a plus). The pork chop and popcorn chicken were fried nice and crisp, and (in my opinion) adding some extra spice made it taste even better, but it's good without it too! The food came out pretty quickly and the staff is really nice too. It is good shave ice place. The shave ice is like snow. This traditional Taiwanese shave ice method. We got the the mango shave ice. The day we visited, they don't have the matcha and strawberry. The mango shave ice comes with mango jelly and condensed milk. I like the shave ice. It is big. We also got some tea drink and strawberry slush. My nephews and niece like it. The pop corn chicken is to little for the price. The coating can improve on the heavier five spice flavor. It is average in this area which have a lot of Taiwanese food. My wife like the Taiwanese sweet tofu. We cannot find this thing in Tampa. We like it have variety of jelly that includes grass jelly, silk tofu, egg pudding, crush ice with brown sugar, taro ball, sweet potatoes ball and more. This is authentic Taiwanese dessert. I glad they have it. I feel the place is pricey with the food is given. This is the main reason they did not get 5 stars due to value vs taste and quantity. I went to sno tea with a group of friends and we all got the shaved ice to share. The portion size is really big and enough to share for a group of 4. The one thing I didn't really like was the beans but that's just personal preference. The staff was super nice and accommodating even though we came close to close. They also have a community post it wall where people can draw pictures and post it on the wall. I think this place is a really good place to study and hangout with friends. It's also close to Ucf so if you want to study off campus you can walk there! read more

We came here mainly for the snow dessert but for some strange reason they did not have it available on a weekend. So we ordered drinks instead. This review is just based on the drinks, my first time trying authentic Taiwanese tea and it sure is strong. Meaning you would not be able to sleep if you drink it past 4 PM. For me these type of teas work better than coffee. Otherwise everything was flavorful fresh and a large cup is truly a large. The fruit tea has bits of mixed fruit in it. Also the grapefruit green tea has real chunks of grapefruit. Lychee tea it starts with flavor well you could take sips throughout the day and still be satisfied. So I went looking for a Bro Tee And to get some lunch, maybe a Roti But much to my surprise And I tell you no lies I found some bomb Milk Tea at Sno Tea! When Golfing, I have quite a Slow Tee And when rapping 'bout Boba, I Flow Tea But when in Orlando There's one place that I know With good Milk Tea, and that Tea, is Sno Tea! In most of the world, no means no. But in Orlando, Sno means Sno Tea. They actually had a surprisingly good milk tea, which I wasn't expecting, because with all due respect, Orlando boba standards are comparatively awful, considering that similar size cities usually have several stellar options at least to some degree. But the milk tea here was pretty good, somewhere between 4 and 5 stars. But when you consider lovely decor, an imaginative shop, out near the colleges, colourful inside and out, locally popular, very friendly service, and locally owned instead of a chain... I definitely have to give it a 5 and say it was one of the 5 best boba drinks I had in the ORL area. Not saying much, but still well worth a visit if you're in this part of town, or in ORL looking for Bobitos. There's Sno way I won't be back here at some point. read more

I was craving shaved snow desserts so I went here. Ordered the Shaved Snow Taro, Taiwanese Sweet Tofu, and the Jasmine Green Tea 50% sweet. The Shaved Snow Taro was very disappointing for the price of $7.99. Was expecting a tower of snow, which all the other Snow places (like Quickly and SnowBeans) had, but got a very small amount of shaved ice and lots of sugar. It was dessert it, but this was sweet upon sweets; lots of condensed milk along with mini marshmellow flavors and Sugar. It spelled Diabetes for me. Took one scoop and regretted myself. The Tawanese Tofu was less sweet, but it was too sweet in my opinion. The potatos and bobas were not fresh; gooey and hard. Jasmine Green Tea was my only rescue for the night. Maybe Both times I went here were at night, so the foods ran out and I had the leftovers? Would I recommend this place for desserts? Absolutely a No, but as for tea, Yes. I had a chance to pop into this shop a couple times over the past few weeks and I'm going to say I'm pretty happy with it. I'm not a huge fan of boba tea but I do like to have one on occasion. And since I'm a fan of taro I decided to go with guess what...a taro milk tea! I like that I could customize it right down to how much ice, sugar and boba. I added lychee jelly. Something about lychee just makes me happy. I also tried the snow - which comes in a huge bowl. Thankfully, there were 2 other people to share it with. Again with the taro! After being completely taro-ed out, I was satisfied. The service is good if you want was polite and the orders came out quickly so I have no complaints in. Eating here 2nd time and so far this place is rlly worth a shot! My first time my girlfriend and I got some beef stew noodle soup and fried calamari. The soup is hot and the broth is rich in flavor. Very tender meat so if you like when the meat falls off, I'd definitely recommend. The calamari were on another level. Honestly, didn't expect calamari to taste so good. There is no sauce coming with them but the seasoning in the crust is so damn good. Definitely get some if you are visiting. Our second time here we tried the beef risotto and some fried chicken. Everything is picture worthy! What did I get I got the SnoTea Milk Tea with Herbal Jelly and also the Popcorn Chicken. First of all the placements were ADORABLE! Mine came in a beer mug. It wasn't too sweet even though I didn't tell her to adjust the sweetness (Maybe I lost my tastebuds that day....) I like the herbal jelly thats in there and even though I didn't tell them to adjust the ice, there was not much in it. The popcorn chicken was in a nice fry basket, cutely decorated! I love the chicken pieces, they are big chunky pieces. I do want to say though, it is a bit on the salty side for me... its also missing the basil leaf ha.. but who is complaining about that... I also tried my friend Gyudon which was good, I like that the beef pieces are not shaved but are thin chunks if that makes sense. Environment The store is in a strip mall with plenty parking outside. I had the Oolong milk tea with boba and the pork chop rice. My hubby had the beef noodle and popcorn. We loved them all. It's very authentic, and definitely cured our cravings for Taiwanese food. The menu is smaller than before. The snow ice is not available currently. On our second visit, the chef was working by himself. This is a great place to hang out with friends. They have authentic Taiwanese street food along with great milk tea and amazing snow/shaved ice. I like their earl grey milk tea with 75% sweetness. My husband and son loves their mango snow ice. Their rice/noodle dishes are okay, but not the best I've tasted around the area. They also provide fresh pastries and a selection of other cake/dessert. Their bread is a bit on the pricy side compare to some other bakeries, but it's made fresh and the quality is great. There are numerous times that the cashier stopped me while I was browsing their bread from the bakery shelve just to tell me that they have a fresh batch coming out and he/she would go grab the ones I want from the rack since they were waiting to be packaged. This shows me that they actually care about their customers. Overall this is a sweet little cafe close to UCF and it is definitely a great hangout place. PS. I've been trying their regular milk boba tea every now and then and its been consistently very good. It has a good strong tea flavor and it doesn't come out too milky. The boba is also pretty good where its not too mushy or hard. The guy that's always there (sorry don't know your name but a Caucasian male) is fast and quick plus courteous. He doesn't make it too sweet for my taste so I never asked him to adjust anything. I think they could add some seasoning when they cook their Katsu-don to their breading. Lovely little cafe in walking distance to UCF main campus. They're are located in the shopping strip with SuS Hi Eatstation. They offer a good variety of shaved ice and Boba tea flavors. They make their tea's unsweetened and add boba/toppings on request. (having the tea unsweetened and adding honey is my personal favorite). They also have items on a savory menu, such as rice bowls that you can top with protein. I wanted something sweet with my tea and got the cream cheese puffs. They were more like mini cream cheese filled cakes than "puffs", but they were still really good. They also have weekly specials with different discounts and freebies depending on the day of the week. The famous pop corn chicken, fried calamari (both seasoned with pepper only) and more. They have a big menu for tea and boba both cold (including slush) and hot. These many options of hot drinks can hardly be found in boba places because most people don't like hot drinks. And they got a huge variety of toppings too (boba, mixed fruit jelly, passion fruit jelly, grass jelly, egg puddin...) Their waffles look delicious so I'm definitely coming back for that another time. Oh ! And their shaved ice. These are so popular in taiwan and definitely a new concept here. Sno Tea is a sweet new snack shop specializing in Asian treats such as boba, shaved snow, and little desserts. I had two different types of milk tea here. Both the boba and the tea were pretty tasty - I didn't have any major complaints flavor wise. I also had the green tea shaved snow. In Taiwan I was used to piling my snow high with all sorts of delicious toppings. So, I was a bit disappointed when my green tea snow only came with a bit of red bean. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to specifically ask for more toppings since it wasn't explained to me during the ordering process. Speaking of, I felt that the process was very awkward. It took way too long for the cashier to enter my order. There seemed to also be a language barrier between the cashier and the back workers. However, I will attribute these kinks to the place just being new. I ended up really enjoying my snacks here and I am looking forward to seeing Sno Tea grow and become a better run shop. read more

This is the must go place if you crave for Taiwanese buns, boba tea, and food!! I love their passion fruit green tea with jelly and their buns!!!! I love love the green onion with pork floss roll and pineapple-shaped sweet milk butter bun. These two are my favorites. Sometimes they sold out so fast that you will have order ahead. (Yes, they take custom orders for buns!!) On top of their relaxing atmosphere, the owners and staffs are relatively chill and friendly. They do their best to provide the best service and food for their customers. You can tell from the little things in the store that they truly care about the customers.
