Pork soup dumplings
Kailey F.

I have been going to Royal tea for several years now. The staff is usually very friendly and the drinks very consistent. They have a fairly small menu compared to many other boba places, but that really speaks to their quality. They brew real teas as opposed to using powder stuff. Their tapioca pearls are also my favorite and you can tell they are made fresh. The interior is also nice and very minimal. That being said, they are a drink place before they are a food place. Over the years they have frequently done different things when it comes to food. Some of their desserts are good, but they tend to be overpriced. An exception to that is their Oreo pie, which is worth it. Recently, they have also been offering dim sum, which is all just okay. Monday-Thursday during certain times you can get some of their dumplings for free with a purchase of $10, which is a very good deal.

Absolutely love RoyalTea, I say if you want a more authentic bubble tea spot, this is it. Drinks aren't overwhelmingly sweet and taste like actual tea. 10/10 recommend

My favorite dessert!! French macaroons

Really cute shop for Boba tea & Espresso drinks!! The wooden ambiance is really cool & the drinks are so Unique!! They use Jasmine tea for the fruit drinks & real puree. The best part is their French Macarons are very affordable! 3 for 2.50 is an amazing value !! Great little Boba & Coffee shop in Waterford Lakes that you can study at. The girl at the register was really friendly & had great customer service skillz. I highly recommend.

Tried their new peppermint milk tea and it's delicious! Nice sweet treat to get in the Christmas spirit in Florida. Peppermint milk tea with less ice, 0% sugar, add boba.

Visited Royal tea after a while. I lovee how spacious it is, minimal and pretty area for seating. Great for studying and big group hangout. The menu is limited only has some signature drinks. I got the mango yogurt but did not taste great, it was okay. Pretty quiet location and lots of parking as well.

Food: we had the mango yogurt tea it was extremely good. The only thing I came say is that their tea menu is limited for those of us who cant have caffeine. Service: was good I mean just walk up order and move on. Ambiance: is a pretty cool setup. Definitely a cool place to go hang with a friend to catch up.

Taste: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 The layout of this place is genuinely adorable, seems like the perfect spot to catch up with friends. My tea was tasty and the boba was just the right consistency. Warning: as of right now the prices listed on the website are significantly cheaper than what they actually are at location.

Strawberry Milk Tea!!!

First time visiting. Calming atmosphere, friendly service, and great selection of drink items. 10/10, will come back again!!!

I've always gone to the original Royal Tea on Mills Ave but since this new location opened up on Waterford Lakes, I come to this instead. Both locations are awesome and great service. Tips: The Mills Royal Tea, parking is a bit limited and difficult to find at times. Traffic is bad over there too but you do have great food options in that same area. Alafaya Royal Tea is a bigger location and parking is free and there's tons of it.

Enjoy this place. Staff always night. Love their whole orange tea, it's the only one I get

This place is TEA-RIFFIC!!! We were in the area and spotted that they had boba so naturally we needed to get some. Alas, I couldn't find something I wanted so I went with an iced Jasmine Green Tea. OH EM GEE!! I've purchased some pricy loose-leaf green tea to make at home before because it's a fave but, this was spectacular. It was brewed perfectly, the taste was incredible, and it needed nothing added to it. Just ice and goodness in a cup. The bf got a coffee drink that was also stupendous. Even though it was sweetened and had milk in it, the coffee taste was still strong enough to be at the front of every sip which is exactly what I look for when drinking a coffee-based bevvy. The staff was so kind. They answered questions we had about the tea and their options before and after we ordered. Also, can we talk about the interior of this place? It's so hip, clean, and modern. We weren't even planning on hanging around after we got our orders but, it was too comfy and cute not to sit and enjoy the ambiance. Definitely worth checking out if you're a tea or boba fan!

Lychee Black Tea
Jamise C.

I ordered the Lychee Black Tea plain (no cheese topping or boba) and it was amazing. The subtle sweetness of the lychee balanced the black tea so well. It's a cute spot and the stairs that serve as seating are so cool.

Definitely my top favorite boba places in orlando! The teas are tasty and refreshing. Their milk teas are good too, a little on the sweeter side but you can ask for less sugar and ice. Their prices are on the higher side especially when you add toppings 50 cents or 75cents so it can add up quickly.

You can tell the quality is there -- super flavorful, creamy, and not overly artificial tasting. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and honestly I couldn't even wait to take a proper picture before digging in. Second, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. They took their time recommending flavors, let us try different samples, and made the whole experience feel fun instead of rushed. That level of friendliness really makes a place memorable. And lastly, I LOVED that they had games available to play. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! It made the visit feel more like a cozy hangout than just a quick dessert stop. Sitting there, playing games, and enjoying good ice cream was such a vibe. Overall, such a sweet little spot with great energy, great service, and delicious ice cream. Definitely a place I'd come back to again and again.

My colleagues and I sat in a table while I waited for my ice cream. It came a couple minutes later, and it was just as good as the last time I came. So sweet and creamy. It tasted natural and homemade, with the amazing taro flavor. There were also 3 nice scoops of the ice cream, so I insisted my colleagues to take a bite as well. It was sinfully good! The service was still good and the atmosphere looked kid friendly with board games available. I also saw a board where customers could write messages, but didn't see a marker available. I still really enjoy the ice cream at Ice & Bites, and really need to try different flavors and their teas as well. This was an amazing end to a great dinner with my awesome colleagues. Overall: A

The 5X Spicy chicken was pretty spicy and the sauce was good. The chicken was a mixed bag though, some was tender and some was tough. Same with the Tokyo chicken. It was packed over the rice, so if you like your rice plain for leftovers, maybe order a side. The sides available are not your typical asian sides. We tried the cucumber salad (good with nice spice), glass noodles, tomato and egg, and the cabbage. They were OK, but nothing earth shattering. The cucumber salad is cold, and when packed with the rest of the piping hot food, was actually kind of gross. Warm Cucumbers? No thanks. I guess the most telling part was the leftovers in the fridge. They sat until garbage night as they just seemed unappealing to eat again, which isn't typical of leftover asian food in the fridge. They have some other items that look appealing, so it may be worth another try.

We usually order at the counter and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. This place is cute and cozy with modern decor and a fun mural. It's clean and offers a chill vibe, and located near UCF. It offers a variety of boba drinks and teas. There's a small food menu but I've enjoyed all the items I've ordered so far. My go-to is the beef noodle soup which is flavorful and simple, yet so delicious. The beef is super tender and the chopped mustard greens elevates the taste. I always get a side of the hot chili peppers which is added goodness! I'm a soup gal so this place is where I like to get my soup fix when the weather gets cold. Another favorite is the fried chicken thighs appetizer. It's crunchy and well seasoned, not greasy. You get a nice portion. I'm also a big fan of the mixed fruit tea with crystal boba. You get your choice of sweetness level. The fresh cut fruits inside is also a nice touch. Every time I stop in I'll see a steady flow of Asian customers, so you know this has got to be authentic. Recently they started offering specials on different days of the week. Hopefully it will bring in more customers. It's worth the visit if you want some Taiwanese comfort food. There's ample parking since it's in a strip mall area.
