I remember when they first opened. They replaced an Asian bakery and tea spot that was here before. I used to come to The Tea Spot when I went to school and worked in the area. They haven't changed the simple decor with shelves with some decor and board games. Today I got the oolong tea with strawberry. Passion fruit is my go to, but they only have strawberry or mango for fresh fruit. The cashier was nice too! I'll be back next time I'm in the area! read more

I got the sunset lemonade with lychee and lychee jelly, it was really good and honestly looked so pretty too. I love that they let you customize the sweetness level. I went with 75%, but it ended up being really sweet... definitely wish I had gone lower. My friend got a taro slush with boba, and said the boba was pretty chewy, almost like it was slightly undercooked, which kind of threw off the texture. She also ordered 75% sweet and agreed that she wished she had gone lower. Overall, I liked the flavor of my drink and the customization options, but the boba could've been better. I'd maybe come back and just order with less sweetness next time read more

Very casual boba and tea spot. Not the fanciest looking inside- more casual hipster vibe with board games. Relaxed atmosphere. Can adjust the sugar level on your drinks and will say my group was pleased with how their drink came out. Love that my Thai green tea wasn't too sweet! read more

I went late at night almost to close time, but the staff was ready! The tea was really good, the boba tasted so fresh. Also, it took a very short time to get the tea. The place also offer some food, and the decorations are pretty cool. read more

An adorable spot right in the heart of the Chinese hub in Orlando across from the fairgrounds! They play kpop music videos on the TV, have plenty of classic mixed tea options, & a cute sticky note wall. It's always packed when I visit because their drinks are well balanced. I personally love their cheese foam. Very clean & pleasant. read more

Heard amazing things about this gem and I'm happy I was able to stop by. The young lady was extremely patient and helpful. She made all 5 of our drinks in less than 5 minutes. The drinks are bomb! I've tried Milk Teas in multiples restaurants, and I'm pretty disappointed with the flavor of the drink here. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea, and it was more ice than the actual drink, it was very obvious that they use powders to make the drinks, since mine wasn't mixed completely, and the flavor wasn't as good as expected. Also, I'm very frustrated that I had to pay extra to get Tapioca on my milk tea and the portion was very stingy (If you don't have anymore tapioca, be honest, but don't give me the leftovers). Maybe for a person that has never ever tried any Asian Food or Beverages, this would be amazing. However, in my personal case it was disappointing. I always like to try new places, but this was not worth it! read more

One of my go to for boba milk tea! Staff are always friendly, ambience is simple. Hopefully they can add more wall decor or wall designs to make it look more fun! Tried their matcha mango milk tea and oolong milk tea. Matcha mango milk tea did not disappoint me. Matcha and mango are actually not a bad combination. Oolong mill tea was okay. Almost like water. It took me a second to focus and find things on the menu, there's tons of options including how sweet you want your drink! We decided on an 11. Pineapple Coconut Green Milk Tea (with Honey Boba as a topping) for grandma. She enjoyed it and definitely appreciated a cold boba on a day like this! I ordered a 2. You would never guess that this is a great place for teas, bobas and snacks when you pull into the parking lot. My son was visiting and insisted we go for boba and I said there are lots of places nearby our downtown home. "No! We MUST go to The Tea Spot in Pine Hills!" He exclaimed. I said great, sure I will just get a regular tea. I had the black tea with mango flavoring and almond milk. The server and my son said don't add sugar as it will be very sweet. The guy also said it doesn't look pretty- I said not to worry- I am about the flavor. It was delicious! My son had rose black tea with crystal boba. Very tasty!! I don't like boba but I really want to try their popping boba next time. The young man who waited on us exuded positive energy galore and was extremely well versed in all things boba! There are tons of games on the wall of cubbies to play and they also have snacks with socially distanced tables and chairs. I used to frequent this area when I lived in Pine Hills 30 years ago and many of the stores in this shopping center are now closed but the restaurants here offer a wonderful experience. What an amazing Bubble Tea place! Haven't seen sooo many options for bubble tea with make your own bubble tea option!!! We build our own and got 1. Wintermelon Lychee Oolong Bubble Tea with Aloe ( 50% sweetness was good enough and kept all the flavors intact) 2. Honeydew Green Milk Tea (25% sweetness ) We LOVED LOVED both of them!!! Stopped in after eating lunch at the new ramen place next door. Great atmosphere. Large, bright and open seating area with tables and chairs spaced apart for social distancing. There was a long white shelving system on the right side of the room. Many of the bottom shelves contained games that you could play at your table. The staff was friendly and helpful. The left side of the large wall menu offers some preset drink options to pick from, like Tiger Milk Thai Tea. The right side shows you the build your own drink options. So many delicious choices ensures a different drink variety for months if you wanted to. I wasn't sure which 2 add-ins (included with each drink) that I wanted. I narrowed it to 2 selections and the cashier graciously offered me the option to try them both before deciding. I ended up going with the lychee jelly. Very nice airy place. A cute local boba shop! I would've loved this shop as a college student -- there's tons of board games, a small sofa area, and plenty of tables where you can bring your laptop and get some work done. The drink menu isn't as overwhelming as some of the big boba chains, and has lots of great options. I love that customers have the ability to customize and build their own boba drinks. I got the Tiger Sugar Milk Tea with Boba at 25% sweetness and it was perfect. Service-wise, the shop wasn't busy when we were there (we came around opening); so service was very prompt. The girl at the counter was super friendly and we were able to get in and out very quickly. The interior of the shop is nice. I loved the wall mural and the decor felt simple and fun. I think the big wall of shelves was a bit empty, but, overall, that's not a big deal. Overall, The Tea Spot seems like a great stop after ramen or grocery shopping and we'll definitely be back! read more

This huge bubble tea spot is located in Chinatown and would be ideal for group or family gatherings (pandemic aside) or large classes. I ordered a very simple black milk tea with tapioca boba at 50% sweetness. Was this always a thing? Percentages of sweetness? Not sure - but I do appreciate being asked. The variety of beverages here is sure to be an attracting factor, plus the variety of different flavored boba. Personally, I have my own favorite for bubble tea but I would not hesitate to return - likely for a Thai tea. I haven't been here since December of 2018 and ever since that day, I've always wanted to come back and try more flavors. However, after today, I won't be coming back anymore. I ordered the regular oolong as usual and received the roasted oolong. I've tried many oolong milk tea and this is by far the worst. Even with 100% sweetness, it still wasn't sweet enough. Not only that but the boba was way too chewy, and not as sweet like I remembered. It seems like they put less boba in this time. After finishing the drink, it left me with a stomach ache. It was not worth $5. read more

The variety is there but the taste experience wasn't anything that will have me running back here. I had a Thai green milk tea...I think I expected that Thai tea flavor. The drink was milky, and that's about all I have to describe. My boba was from a freshly made batch, but it wasn't the best around. It wasn't the super chewy boba, and ended up a little on the firmer end. read more

The guy behind the counter is super nice. They got great varieties of flavors to choose from. The tea has good tea taste. Best of all, the price!! You can get a 24oz drink for $5!! Regular toppings are included and only $.25-$.50 for popping boba or agar/crystal/white boba. The teas are definitely worth the cost. They also offer a rewards program, Square from google. read more

It's been several months since I've come here. I like the improvements very much. The main thing I noticed is that now there are some food options. Not very many food options, but options nevertheless. So, I said this place has really good boba. That hasn't changed. I will say that not every combination that you (as the customer) may choose is a good combination. It's still very good. There have been some added furnishings such as a TV and some wall decor. It's looking pretty good. I look forward to what is done next. I really enjoyed the Lo-fi music. So, about the food. I had the "popcorn chicken" as a snack and I didn't think it was going to be good. They use real tea they say. What did I get I got the regular milk tea with boba and grass Jelly. I love that you can choose your sweetness! I was able to control the sweetness of my drink (0, 25, 50, 75, 125%). Also funny they only have large or extra large! It was great! Usually it is hard to find good milk teas. A lot of places have powder and pre-mixes. I love that this place made it fresh! Environment This is in the plaza where first oriental supermarket is and also beside sun pearl bakery. There is a big storefront. So there is a lot of seating! Very open looking! Oh and when I was there, they were playing K-Pop! Heh. There is also Wifi! Niceness of the staff The staff was very nice! He told me that I could choose 3 toppings. I usually only add boba but the gross jelly addition was very good. Thanks! This is a very cute spot in the heart of Chinatown in Orlando to order tea and hang out. They have shelves underneath the cash register that contain many board games and other games such as Connect Four and Sorry! There is a big menu to the right of the cash register that you can order off of or make your own tea. I'm not used to making my own tea so I just ordered the honeydew green milk tea and we decided on regular sweetness which was at 100% but the cashier recommended that I just do no sweetness because the honeydew was already sweet enough so I went with it. Sat down and picked up some board games to play while I waited for my drink. Once I got my milk tea and tasted it, I found it to be very delicious! I would've definitely gone with 25% sweetness but no sweetness was good too. The aftertaste was of like a rose petal taste and it was definitely welcomed. They even allow you to choose the sweetness which is genius! Service is fast but they have a variety of board games for you to enjoy while you wait. Upon entering, you will find a very clean storefront and reception. Overall the store maintains a very neat and tidy appearance that is very welcoming and neutral when it comes to the varying demographics of customers. While we have been to Mango Mango before in a New Jersey location, this location provides a bit of table service (which we have not experienced prior) for dine-in which makes it a bit more intimate. The menu offers plentiful choices of sweets - from bowls with fresh fruits and ice cream, to your specialty drinks including boba. To call Mango Mango a boba shop would do it injustice, as this place truly shines as a hollistic dessert spot. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the selections.
