Saigon Noodle & Grill is a great contemporary Vietnamese spot in the heart of the Milk District…read more The staff was super friendly and helpful--our server gave amazing recommendations, and we ended up trying a little bit of everything. We started with the crispy chicken dumplings--crispy on the outside with a juicy, tender chicken filling. Perfect way to kick things off. We continued with three items: Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho), Orange Chicken, and Sautéed Cubed Beef "Shaking Beef" (Cơm Bò Lúc Lắc). The Beef Stew (Bún Bò Kho) was heaven on a dish. The beef stew was easily the standout--rich, flavorful, and the beef was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. The vermicelli noodles were just as impressive. Just reminiscing about it makes my mouth water. The "Shaking Beef" was served over white rice (highly recommend), and every bite was better than the last. The garlic butter sauce really takes it over the top. Don't be fooled by the Orange Chicken--Boneless chicken, fried perfectly and coated in their authentic sweet orange sauce. The best Orange Chicken in town, hands down. No chance of leftovers here--you won't want to put your fork down.

Honestly, it's what you want in a lunch (in my opinion): Good food, quick service, chill atmosphere. Another thing I liked about this place is also that they have a decent amount of menu options. It didn't seem very busy but I didn't mind that in the least. The staff was very friendly and very nice. The food was very flavorful, a great temperature and tasted fresh. I now want to go back and try some more items!

The food is soooo flavorful, new for me to try a veggie broth I always opt in for the meat. They have changed me, I'm coming back for their veggie broth. Staff is very quick and attentive as well, I love that they don't leave dishes on tables and clean up immediately. Especially not making you feel rushed. Overall, great experience, great food, lots of flavors. Please check them out when you come to Orlando area

The decor was cute and interesting, with 2-D black and white illustrations on the walls and clean simple furnishings. Staff was super friendly and helpful and the food came out very quickly. Not a traditional pho place by any means, you can "create your own bowl" and the traditional pho offerings were pretty limited. I really wanted to like this place but the pho was the saltiest I've ever tasted. Nearly inedible. I never fail to leave a clean empty bowl when I get pho but I couldn't get through half of it. Oddly enough they also had salt on the table, though I challenge anyone to actually add salt and be able to eat the soup. I'll spare the details of what I experienced later but let's just say the food came out very fast again later that evening. Perhaps I came in an off day but I won't be rolling the dice on Twenty Pho Hour again.

And we are so glad that we did. We started off with the appetizer that brought crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and dumplings. So good and even better with all the sauces to pair them with. Then we had the C10 platter which is this steak platter with vegetables and rice and we also had the Pad Thai. The dishes were so flavorful and the portions are very generous. I honestly will need to come back because they have so many options, including hot pot. Service was so friendly, you literally feel right at home. I cannot wait to be back and try the rest of the menu. Oh and don't forget to order the fried bananas for dessert!

I don't know if they have a new management or the owner is too busy to take care of his restaurant…read morenowadays. But the restaurant is go downhill faster than a roller coaster.Last Thursday,I came here with 2 friends for lunch. This used to be my best spot for Vietnamese food.But....no more and I don't plan to come back to give them any more chance. 1st,the waiter is no more friendly and warm welcome customers.3 of us ordered lunch special which I never ever try.Usually we come here for dinner. And that were where the problems came out. 2nd,I order Sweet tea and the tea come out with a big chunk of "I DON'T THINK IT IS SAFETY TO DRINK" floating in my tea(look like fat residue or mold residue inside the stuck sewage pipe or fountain/AC pipe) which I told the waiter and he DIDN'T DO ANYTHING OR DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING. 3rd,The summer roll came out smaller than it used to be.The peanut sauce is saltier and less sweet. 4th,the sweet and sour homemade fish sauce has a weird taste(lack of sweet and sour). 5th,the fried eggs is too well done. The grilled pork is lack of aroma and grilled/lemongrass fragrance. Conclusion,The restaurant change a little bit outside.Look the same inside but the taste and the warm enjoyment atmosphere doesn't there anymore. P/s:We live 20 miles away from the restaurant. We don't come here too often because of the distance. But I always bring traveling friends here whenever they visit town for try "REAL VIETNAMESE DISHES".Have family dinners(6-8 people). And host at least 2 big dinner parties per year with foodie friends(15-20 people) every year.

The exterior of the restaurant looks decrepit and the interior is starting to fall apart and features half a dozen or so tables. There is even a derelict hanging out on the street by the front entrance for true Vietnam vibes. Started off with the fried egg rolls with crab and they were tasty. The crab that they put inside the egg roll is imitation. Moved on to the Iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and it was strong and tasty, The bun bo hue was quite flavorful and had plenty of meats, including a giant pig trotter. The broth was great and the bowl also included a couple pieces of pork blood along with some veggies. ~$30/head after tax and gratuity for lunch

I've been a couple times now and it is definitely a good choice when you aren't craving specifically pho or bun bo hue. Inside is small but with limited seating but just enough during peak meal times. Most tables are for groups of 2-4 so not recommended for large groups. Turnaround seems pretty quick. The service is friendlier than most I've seen at Vietnamese restaurants. Love the bun rieu here! Pair it with an iced ca phe sua da for that well-rounded meal. And of course, you have to order the pho here at least once. You can't go wrong if you choose Vietnamese Cuisine for your next meal out!

This place stays busy, especially during lunch and dinner hours, so expect a little wait during peak times. The dining room can get packed and lively, but that just adds to the energy. The pho is the main draw. When the broth is on point, it's rich, aromatic, and deeply comforting -- exactly what you want in a solid bowl of phở. The portions are generous, noodles are cooked well, and the fresh herbs and bean sprouts round everything out nicely. Their combination pho is a safe choice, and the vermicelli bowls and rice plates are great alternatives if you're not in a soup mood. That said, the broth can sometimes be a little inconsistent in flavor. Some visits it's bold and perfectly balanced; other times it may lean lighter and need a bit of extra lime or sauce to adjust to your taste. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable if you're a regular. Overall, Pho Huong Lan remains a dependable, comforting, and very popular Vietnamese staple. Come hungry, expect a crowd, and enjoy a satisfying bowl of pho.

Banh Khot is made from a batter of rice flour, corn starch, turmeric powder, water and coconut milk. Wrap each one in refreshing crisp greens, add pickled veggies and aromatic herbs and dip in pungent fish sauce with chili sauce mixed in for more punch --- perfection. And when you can't get mom's version while on a road trip, it's exciting to discover that Z Asian was just a short drive away from my downtown hotel. I went on a Wednesday evening at 6 pm, was glad to find parking in a lot behind the restaurant and entered into a cozy and inviting interior. I was one of two seated tables in the place, so I didn't have challenges with long waits or service. There was a chill ambiance with the right volume of music in the background. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Bánh Khọt and a side of bok choy in garlic sauce - the vegetables were crave worthy. I could taste the char and smoke from the pan on the greens. I had to do some deep breathing to finish all of my food, but I got it done. Street Food Craving Satisfied!

I started off with a tamarind martini, followed with the mini crepes & soft shell crab. The crepes looked amazing, but they didn't taste like any seasoning was used. Service was very hands off at first, almost slow, but they were very courteous & helpful after I asked for my check. The building is gorgeous inside, in contrast to the near-industrial exterior. I will definitely be back, just not for the mini crepes, which sucks because I'd wanted to try them for years.
