The vibe in there is perfect for catching up with a friend or maybe even getting some work done (there are outlets). It's a staple place for boba in the Waterford area and I recommend!

They have a small food menu if you're peckish. The seating area is always clean and I like seeing all the flyers for local events and musicians. Arguably the worst boba I've had in Orlando…read more The shop is nicely decorated, and the employee (or owner I wasn't sure) was very friendly. Unfortunately, the drinks just didn't live up to the experience. I ordered the taro milk tea and the strawberry milk tea. The taro tasted watered down, and the tapioca pearls weren't good. On top of that, tapioca costs extra, and an additional serving is another $2. The small cup also felt more like an extra-small. Overall, the shop has a nice atmosphere and friendly service, but the drinks were disappointing enough that I wouldn't return.

The boba itself, the balls, the pearls, whatever you want to call it, was a little disappointing and a lacking flavor and texture, especially compared to Half and Half or 85. My colleagues and I sat in a table while I waited for my ice cream. It came a couple minutes later, and it was just as good as the last time I came. So sweet and creamy. It tasted natural and homemade, with the amazing taro flavor. There were also 3 nice scoops of the ice cream, so I insisted my colleagues to take a bite as well. It was sinfully good! The service was still good and the atmosphere looked kid friendly with board games available. I also saw a board where customers could write messages, but didn't see a marker available. I still really enjoy the ice cream at Ice & Bites, and really need to try different flavors and their teas as well. This was an amazing end to a great dinner with my awesome colleagues. Overall: A

You can tell the quality is there -- super flavorful, creamy, and not overly artificial tasting. Every bite was rich and satisfying, and honestly I couldn't even wait to take a proper picture before digging in. Second, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They clearly love what they do. They took their time recommending flavors, let us try different samples, and made the whole experience feel fun instead of rushed. That level of friendliness really makes a place memorable. And lastly, I LOVED that they had games available to play. Such a cute and thoughtful touch! It made the visit feel more like a cozy hangout than just a quick dessert stop. Sitting there, playing games, and enjoying good ice cream was such a vibe. Overall, such a sweet little spot with great energy, great service, and delicious ice cream. The 5X Spicy chicken was pretty spicy and the sauce was good. The chicken was a mixed bag though, some was tender and some was tough. Same with the Tokyo chicken. It was packed over the rice, so if you like your rice plain for leftovers, maybe order a side. The sides available are not your typical asian sides. We tried the cucumber salad (good with nice spice), glass noodles, tomato and egg, and the cabbage. They were OK, but nothing earth shattering. The cucumber salad is cold, and when packed with the rest of the piping hot food, was actually kind of gross. Warm Cucumbers? No thanks. I guess the most telling part was the leftovers in the fridge. They sat until garbage night as they just seemed unappealing to eat again, which isn't typical of leftover asian food in the fridge. They have some other items that look appealing, so it may be worth another try.

However, it seems like if they have the items that you'd need for most recipes. The service is always friendly. I think this is a mom and pop run store though so just make sure to avoid the bucket on the floor. If you get the bean sprouts here they don't last very long in your fridge so make sure you use them pretty quickly but otherwise I haven't had any problems with the produce. The mini clouds are 12oz. Next time, I will ask for less ice (cup was still of ice) and get a larger drink. It was so good, I finished it in less than a minute. We usually order at the counter and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. This place is cute and cozy with modern decor and a fun mural. It's clean and offers a chill vibe, and located near UCF. It offers a variety of boba drinks and teas. There's a small food menu but I've enjoyed all the items I've ordered so far. My go-to is the beef noodle soup which is flavorful and simple, yet so delicious. The beef is super tender and the chopped mustard greens elevates the taste. I always get a side of the hot chili peppers which is added goodness! I'm a soup gal so this place is where I like to get my soup fix when the weather gets cold. Another favorite is the fried chicken thighs appetizer. It's crunchy and well seasoned, not greasy. You get a nice portion. I'm also a big fan of the mixed fruit tea with crystal boba. You get your choice of sweetness level. The fresh cut fruits inside is also a nice touch. Every time I stop in I'll see a steady flow of Asian customers, so you know this has got to be authentic. Recently they started offering specials on different days of the week. Hopefully it will bring in more customers. It's worth the visit if you want some Taiwanese comfort food. There's ample parking since it's in a strip mall area.
