Great sandwich shop! Every option of meat available such as ham, turkey, pastrami, tuna, salami etc... I ordered the lawlinator that is ham, turkey, roast beef, pastrami and salami. This all worked well together with lettuce and provolone. This was a well made fresh sandwich. If this is in your plan then plan to go early because most days they close early. Such a tasty delight! Warm and friendly staff at the checking in and everything is cut fresh in front of you which was cool to see the meats being sliced on the machine. Was really crazing a good old fashioned sandwich after a long outside day, there was quite a few patrons already during lunch and the choices were plentiful. Exquisite ! Finely done and fresh and the thousand island sauce on the Reuben was a fan favorite in my party of 5 when we went. Right in the plaza store front parking and fountain machine for the soda choices. I tried their house macaroni salad and I LOVED IT! Creamy and rich and had two size options as well as baked cookies and chips and the celebrated dill pickle on the side when requested. As a former South Floridian I hold my sub shops to high standards, and I'm so glad to have found somewhere local that rivals my favorite deli back home! We were running errands and my sister decided to check them out. The shop was just settling in and it has some seating. It is clean and the menu is shown on top of the ordering area. The gentleman that took our order and made our sandwiches was nice, friendly and more than happy to answer any questions. The subs are good, fresh, tasty, and made with quality ingredients, nice bread and with plenty of protein and veggies. We ordered the tuna sandwich (not albacore but still good and not fishy), the ultimate italian and a ham and cheese sub. Not that it was necessary, but on my most recent visit I noticed that the interior had been completely redone. Again not that it was necessary but this refresh is very bright and cheerful. On this visit I brought my daughter with me. She has eaten the sub before but she's never been there to the location so I figured since she was heading back home we would stop there for a bite to eat. As always being greeted when you walk through the door is always pleasing. Always a smile and ready to serve. This time we got two large lawlinators, which neither one of us was able to eat more than half of. Both are wrapped up to take to the separate coasts; mind back to the east coast hers back to the west coast. Several hours later we checked in with each other both subs have been consumed for dinner and we're not in any way shape or form soggy from sitting for 3 hours. For whatever reason I decided not to get my normal chips soda and a brownie, although they are always there and those brownies are amazing! One thing is for certain, whenever I am in the area or traveling through the area, the thought of stopping at Lawless Subs for a fantastic meal is always present in my mind. If franchise is ever become available, I think I'll be one of the very first people in line to own one. read more

I was a little disappointed after my first time visit just after someone recommended this place to me. I would've expected a little bit better service with the initial greeting of a customer walking in the establishment but I asked for an Ultimate Italian sub with Lett. & Tomato, Salt , pepper and oil dressing. When I opened the sandwich getting ready to eat I noticed it looked very bland and it's only because there was no salt, pepper or oil dressing on my sandwich and for $16 at that. Nothing short of Awesome. You can really taste the quality and freshness here. That's the difference for me. And they're really consistent about it. You get a Great sandwich. I used to come here for lunch often when I worked in Maitland. Best subs ever. Then my office location moved to Lake Mary and I forget about Lawless. I recently rediscovered this little gem. New ownership, same delicious sandwiches. I gave my son, a culinary professional who has trained at the Culinary Institute of America, half of two different subs. Came here for the first time. Had the lawless beef recommended to me by the worker. I asked what brand roast beef and he said he makes it in house. Well of course I get excited right of bat. Also got the macaroni salad. So let's dig in. The bread was toasted nice. And the bread tasted fresh so that's a plus. That's it though. They toast the whole sun after it is put together. Well I'm not a fan of warm lettuce at all. So it gave it a bad taste. Did pull some beef out to try it and it was very plain. Not flavor at all. So much for in house made beef. Tasted like a very cheap deli roast beef. Other problem the use the ends of the tomato. Omg I love tomatoes but to put the ends in a sun is horrible. Tried the macaroni salad and again very bland. I'm sorry the only good thing was the sun chips I got with the meal and the Mr. pibb. I can't go back just for the fact they used tomato ends. read more

I tried it again. I didn't sell me. Their "half" is still quite pricey, literally the price of a whole from Publix. Issue is the bread though, the cheapest thing they could buy compared the fresh bread at Publix. It's Mickey Mouse style bread. It's so soft and bland, you can't get cheaper bread. Maybe even worse than Wawa, but not Subway soft. So that's the conversation we're having. Not great for a sandwich based shop. They do crush on sandwich making. You'll get that thing right after you are paid out. read more

I had lunch here today for the first time. I've probably driven by this place a million time in my life. It's hard to see it's open as the windows are fairly tinted from the outside, there's minimal signage and not much of a digital presence. I had a basic turkey with provolone, no dressings. They took my mustard allergy serious with glove changes and a fresh workstation which was very nice. The bread was fresh and warm, the turkey fresh and juicy, the cheese fresh and sliced perfectly. I chose the 7 1/2" as their smaller size and it was perfectly filling. The inside of the place was basic but welcoming, efficient and clean. Just like I like :) the pricing and the sub were comparable to a Publix sub- but this bread was missing that annoying corn meal dust like Publix subs has. I personally don't like that. The lady that helped me told me about all their fresh sides they make in house, although I didn't try any on this visit. I'll likely go back and add this to our lunch rotation. read more

I went at 12pm on a Sunday and ordered the Turkey sub with everything on it, cucumbers, S&P. Man, this was one of the BEST subs I've had in my entire life. The bread was warm and fresh and the meat was tasty. The guys working we're also very kind! 10/10 a must stop in Altamonte Springs. read more
