    Counter/kitchen staff. Nice guys.

Just what the doctor ordered. Peace. Calm. Tranquility. Right in Apopka. It is exactly what it says it is. A converted house with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the company of friends over a delicious beverage and savory treat. I got a Floridian. Half passion tea and half lemonade - all delicious! And a toasted buttered Asiago bagel. Perfectly toasted (not line most places that just singe toasted baked goods). Real butter. Even real napkin sized napkins (feels like home). I grabbed a couple goodie for later: their version of donut holes and a maple Blondie type thing. Pleasant patient staff. Quiet relaxing music playing throughout the house. What's not to like!!

Super cozy coffee shop and cafe in Apopka, very good for studying. They have rooms you can rent and lots of quiet places and plugs for chargers. They had many good coffee options and food. The Librarian drink was very good and reminded me of fall!

Canon Coffee shop gets 5 stars and wish I could give them 6. First of all, whoever is selecting their coffee beans needs to get a raise. I get the 12 oz. drip coffee (black) and it's always excellent. Really nice complement of complex flavors, brewed to perfection and served at the right temperature. Some coffee shops ruin the flavor by serving it over-brewed. As for the food selection, I've only tried their avocado toast and brownie. Both are really nice. Finally, I wish they had a location that was closer to Orlando/Windermere. I love the laid back, casual and very welcoming atmosphere. It's a place where I feel perfectly comfortable sitting alone or joining a few friends for a quick afternoon get-together.

Very interesting spot. Good use of an old house. Chai lattes were pretty good. Also bought some great smelling soap!

The baristas were very helpful. The menu can seem very overwhelming for a first time visit. I wanted something that I could taste the espresso but still have a fun flavor. I tried the spring seasonal pistachio rose latte and it was divine! The espresso shined through but I could still get hints of the pistachio and rose and it wasn't too sweet! They can make it less sweet if you request. I will definitely be returning to explore more creative drinks! I did not have the food but the pastries on display look amazing! I will have to try a food item next visit! They're also worth stopping by to browse their market items that support local small businesses.

Our first time to this level cal Apopka coffee shop. It happened to be the day they were hosting a local farmers market. I found the inside to be very cozy and not trying to be something they are not. Large menu of unique drinks and solid food options. I got the iced musician and the breakfast burrito. Each room had different seating and I loved the room with kids toys! I saw a wall of local businesses which I would love to support. I thought the drink was excellent if you love coconut and the breakfast burrito was solid. Being from California I cant NOT get the breakfast burrito!

We happened to be in the area and stopped by on a whim-- so glad we did!! Our GPS led us to park in the back & parking was a bit tricky since the shop is a converted house, but the atmosphere was warm and welcoming :) The beautiful espresso machine right at the ordering counter made the experience even better. Loved watching the baristas do their thing. I ordered "The Author" and it tasted just as amazing as I had imagined. We wished we lived closer but we'll be sure to visit again when in Apopka!

I stumbled upon Canon Coffee while searching for a quiet spot to work, and I'm so glad I did! Tucked away off the main road, this little gem is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. The coffee shop is located in a charming, converted home, and it's clear a lot of thought has gone into the space. Each room has its own cozy vibe, making it perfect for anything from a solo work session to a small meeting. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, and there's plenty of space to spread out without feeling cramped. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. I really appreciated the mix of seating options and quiet corners--it's a great spot if you're looking for a calm environment to get work done or meet with friends or colleagues. I had the Poet- a mix of honey and lavender latte. There is also options of various snacks, pastries and sandwiches. A hidden gem in Apopka.

Housemate pop-tart? Yes please. Cappuccino is good. Cafe con leche, partner liked. Monte Cristo breakfast sandwich, he loved. Set in a cute repurposed old home. Not a local but come here every time I visit

My girlfriends and I came in after work for their silent book club event and we had an amazing time. The staff are incredible and so nice. They made great recommendations, brought our drinks to us, and had a great positive energy. I got a medium hot Botanist, which had lovely floral and citrus notes. It was one of the best lattes I've had in a while. Pretty much all of their baked goods are made in house and the seasonal lemon blueberry scones were to die for. They have such a creative and broad menu. The seating is so comfortable and the shop had different rooms where you can relax and enjoy your coffee. They have a whole itinerary of events for you to check out. This place is truly a local gem!

It had been on my list to try and glad I finally made it! I stopped the day after this last hurricane and they were busy and taking care of customers. I was welcomed by friendly and attentive staff, which thattmade the experience much enjoyable. I ordered a latte and a breakfast croissant. Both were made to order and tasty. The coffee was so smooth and nice that I will.fefini definitely stop by again when I go around the area.

I have never left a one star review but the management here is not great. I got the chocolate raspberry latte and it came out SUPER sweet, so I politely asked the barista if he would mind remaking it and I gave him back my drink bc I couldn't drink it bc of how sweet it was. He was super kind and said of course and told me he'd bring me the new latte when it was ready to where I was sitting. A few minutes go by and he comes back and brings me my old drink and says sorry my manager said I can't make you another drink because it's "too sweet". I was super shocked especially bc he took my drink behind the counter when I asked him to remake it and then he brought back the same drink and gave it back to me. I had only had a sip of it and the drink was full when I asked for the change. The ambiance is cute but I couldn't believe the manager handled the situation the way they did. Edit: thank you to the owner for replying.

Overall, I did find it expensive for what you get, and I feel there is some criticism here they need to accept: #1 - What we were served looked nothing like the pictures from the first 2 years they were open, in which the desserts are about 60% flavored ice and 40% toppings. What we got was about 97% shaved ice and 3% toppings. (Also, no whipped cream on the polar affogato). #2 - There is a teeny tiny sign on the back wall that you can barely read that states that all orders have a 10% gratuity automatically included. This sign is NOT visible from the cash register, and is 8 get away in 14-16 pt font. Clearly they don't want customers to see it.. Additionally, their POS system is asking you to add gratuity, even though they're already secretly auto-charging you 10% gratuity. That is flat-out disgusting. There was very little labor/time involved. So on top of the high prices, with greatly reduced toppings, they are encouraging people to pay upwards of 30% gratuity? For $8 flavored ice ready in 3 minutes? To make it worse, I'm sure the people working were the owners. Proprietors shouldnt be accepting or soliciting ANY tips at all.

They also ask for 20-25% tip which I think is too much considering we pick up after ourselves and get up to get our own napkins, utensils, sugars, etc. I work in the service industry and I only ask myself if they're getting paid below minimum wage. Obviously I still leave a tip because I appreciate what they do, it would just be greedy if the owners are paying their workers below minimum wage. Enough yapping, we ordered the cachapa with cheese, which came out cold and crumbly, it looked beautiful but the flavor was not there, I've tried many cachapas and by far this one was the least pleasant to eat. The burger didn't taste authentic at allll. It felt like more bread than anything. The empanada did not taste authentic at all, it was like the filling barely had any potatoes, it just felt like the flavors were not there at all. I will continue to order these items at my local Colombian restaurant, where they never fail. The best part of my visit was their latte, it was soooo good and made my day so much better. Parking is free and pretty easy on the side of the restaurant. I ended up getting a iced strawberry matcha latte from their spring menu and a breakfast burrito that has egg, cheese, and potatoes. The menu does state you have to wait for the burrito as they have to warm them up. The inside of the business is quaint and cute and a great place to get remote work done or meet with a friend for a coffee and treat. The matcha you can get in two different sizes which I chose the 12 oz. and almond milk for my milk of choice. The matcha is presented in this cute smiley face cup that aligns with their brand. However, I was not a fan of their matcha. The strawberry adds a great sweetness but the matcha was bland. It was like I was drinking the milk and strawberry puree which was unfortunate. However, the reason why they still received a 4 star is that breakfast burrito. For beginners, the cost of this burrito and size is amazing. Again, on the menu they state it takes time which it took about 10 minutes. The burrito has these fluffy eggs that really taste homemade - I felt like I was eating something from a friend's kitchen. The potatoes were soft and also everything was seasoned. Adding the hot sauce was perfect touch. Alone, I would definitely come back for that and will try out one of their lattes based on other Yelper's recommendations.

They also sell Uber ice cream by the quart. See you guys again.

I know my words are not the best, but everytime I eat one of their bagels, there is bite full of happiness. Regardless of the flavor bagel you choose, they always taste the same as the first time. As for their shmears, Dios Mio!!!! Come in. Grab a bagel! Get happy. But you have to go to one in Apopka at 2107 E. Semoran. They always treat you like your family!

I tried the Cookies and Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew. The cold foam is consistent to what you would expect from a Cookies and Cream flavor, but I didn't find it overly sweet, so if you have a sweet tooth (GUILTY! ‍) then you may find yourself wanting a splash of creamer to make it sing for you LOCAL REVIEW / EVERGREEN REVIEW: I am already a fan of other JBR locations, so why not try another! I love when I'm in a new part of town (for me) and I come across this establishment that's becoming a staple in every major central Florida town it seems. Consistent with their other locations, the bagels are fresh and fluffy. The team running the location is also friendly and welcoming. What stood out for me at this location was their bilingual team member, Kay. This woman had so much energy in her interactions with people. She had me cracking up as she described their fresh of of the oven bagels as having a complimentary steam facial when you crack open your bag. She knows the menu and she also seems to know her regulars. It was a delight to interact with her. I tried the Cacio e Pepe bagel. I felt that the bottom half was absolutely perfect, but the top half a little too salty for me. I paired it with Veggie Cream Cheese which had fresh red peppers mixed in. It really added a boost in flavor. My sister got the Asiago Everything and she said it was the perfect amount of seasoning - and they aren't stingy on their Asiago. She paired it with Onion & Chive cream cheese, which she said was very good. For fun, we also got the Garlic & Herb Whipped Butter. It reminded us of pizza with the herbs as the predominant flavor. Parking at this location is very easy. There are parking spots in front but also behind the building. My only caution is that the front seemed a bit busy, so if you're coming at a peak time in the morning and have any parking anxiety, you may want to play it safe and park behind the building (peep my photos for the fun surprise you might find too!). I visited on a Sunday morning and this location had a steady flow of happy people coming and going. This location also offers a small area of indoor seating. They also had a pop up tent out front for additional seating.
