Arepas are decent portion and good. We ended up sitting outside and I placed the order inside. When one of the plates arrived the waiter said the other order was to go right? And I said no we're sitting outside you can bring it out now. When I paid for the check and looked at the receipt later I saw that they charged $.25 cents for to go?! Wtf?! First off tell me there's a charge or just include it in the price and second I didn't have my order Togo so not sure why they are slipping in fees here and there. Way to expensive, like actually insane. Paid like $11 for a matcha latte. They charged me an extra $1.50 for asking for a little vanilla syrup. Normally that costs $0.50 at other places. Also they're literally are selling tiramisu from Costco. You pay the same price for one here as you do for 6 at Costco. I find it crazy that a coffee shop/bakery isn't even selling their own stuff but stuff that they buy at Costco and mark up 10x. Love love love CFS and especially this location. It's very peaceful in the morning and there's plenty of street parking. I inquired about one of the coffees on the menu and the person behind the counter explained but then as they told me the different components (milk options, etc) it wasn't entirely clear that all these options were for an additional cost so my expected $5 coffee ended up costing $7 by the time I got tax and whatever added, and that didn't include what you should add for tip, I understand costs are going up and we need to get with the times, but I would suggest making it clear to someone who is asking for details to provide all the details including up charges. The coffee was nice, and the space is really nice, very cozy. Was it worth the cost? Meh, not sure. But I'd like to go back to try some food options because they looked really yummy, I'll probably stick to a basic drink and be sure to ask about up charges next time. read more

Cute place--love the mugs that coffee is served in though the making of smoothies makes it really loud. I ordered a dry cappuccino and the young woman at the counter gave me a stony unsmiling look and said flatly, "we don't make dry cappuccinos." That said, lack of warm manners aside, it was a good cappuccino and probably better than many places who allege they can make a dry cup and then basically give you a latte. 5 Stars for a coffee shop located in a great area, with really surprising food options and a neighborhood shop feel. Caveat-- I'm not a coffee drinker, but I am a forever coffee shop customer. Having been to every other coffee shop in town (slight overstatement, but I'm leaving it), I like the somewhat nostalgic vibe of a coffee shop that's not all white with pink and light wood accents. Something about the 90s aesthetic makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside (also, the warm drinks...). I was ordering coffee for my friend and went ahead and ordered some baked goods that were in the glass case, for myself. I got the pan de bono and chicken empanada. Only then did I realize that this was a Colombian coffee shop, versus an Orlando coffee shop that featured Colombian coffee. Yay! The pan de bono was everything I wanted it to be-- gooey and cheesy perfection. The chicken empanada was perfect for me too, and it came with their house sauce on the side (garlicky creamy heaven). Awesome little cafe joint located on New England Ave in Winter Park! What attracted me to this place were the tables in the front. So nostalgic, made me reminisce when I lived in Europe. There's a cute little brick walkway on the side of this cafe with a water fountain that guided me to a well available parking space. You will need to pass this cafe and drive around to the rear. Available parking on New England Ave is very rare. I loved the cute decorations and availability of sweets displayed. I loved the menu and coffee choices they offered, but today I wanted an espresso with some sweet cream. I looked at the food menu and saw a variety of american and Latin cafe foods! Why did I just order the Avocado toast, I don't know why! I will definitely have to come in to order an empanada or pastry next time. As for my avocado dish, it was okay but my espresso was fire! Very smooth, robust with just enough sweetness, I loved it!!!! Customer service was extremely pleasant too, I will definitely stop by for another visit! Cute little cafe. The Matcha Latte was on point! It had a good strong matcha flavor and not too sweet. The Carbonara toast was yummy. The bread was sweet and delicious, but should've been a bit more toasted. I loved seeing all the pastries available that I wish I could have bought one of each, like the spinach quiche, empanadas, pan de Bono and cheesecake. I've visited several CFS locations multiple times. This place is cute but if you are trying to study or get any work done I would not recommend it. The staff are nice but the manager/boss is extremely rude. One time we had a group of people studying here (everyone got coffee and food) and we were told to move and that we couldn't sit at the tables because it was a Saturday and they wanted to reserve it for other costumers. Also they get annoyed if you bring in outside food, which is reasonable but no other coffee shop in the area has once had an issue. Other CFS locations don't have any of these issues as well. Basically if you want to study this is not the place for that. And the coffee is okay, but expensive in my opinion. read more

We had a beautiful and delicious breakfast here. Love menu had so many wonderful things it was hard to choose. The only issue was that some of the severs had their masks under their noses and they weren't particularly friendly. What a wonderful surprise this place was , I got a capuchino and a calentado bowl my husband a baked chicken empanada , the coffee was a wonderful strong Colombian coffee ( I am Colombian and it was 100% delicious Colombian coffee). I had CFS Coffee bookmarked for a long time and finally took the opportunity to stop by. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. The menu was promising but they were a little lacking on bakery items. My husband and I both ordered Americanos. They were served piping hot and in fun colorful flower cups. The coffee was strong and taste delicious. We added a beef empanada, quiche, avocado toast, carbonara toast and a blueberry muffin. The carbonara toast was a hard pass. The toast could not hold up the massive amount of house sauce mixed with Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, bacon, mushroom and onions. It had the texture of glue and was not edible. The avocado toast was simple and tasty but the quiche was not heated through. It taste amazing even though it was not served hot. The blueberry muffin was also served refrigerated and this made it hard. The little mishaps did not discourage me from wanting to return because the overall food quality was very good. read more

I usually get the Rainbow Latte Hot -- today I wanted an iced drink -- they were able to make my favorite drink iced with almond milk and I added some honey to give it a twist (no rainbow effect on top-- only for the hot items). This place was adorable! I walked over here from a breakfast place nearby to try the coffee and boy was I glad I did! I had a latte with a special mix of coconut and almond creamer that the barista recommended. It was delicious and so satisfying. The location is all around just a cool place! From the Columbia artistry and designs on the walls to the cool coffee tables and sitting areas in the coffeehouse.
