I am a huge fan of this place. I think Orlando is not a great town for brunch, but then I go to se7enbites on the weekend for breakfast and brunch every few months and remember that we really don't need anywhere else as long as this place is still serving it up as they do. This is one of the most friendly and welcoming businesses in central Florida, and I absolutely adore them for it. This place is counter order with full table service. I believe before the pandemic that you self served drinks, but the full service change has definitely been for the better. They've got a rotating list of specials that you can see on their instagram too. This place always delivers quality food. Their fried chicken is excellent, I've never seen an overcooked egg, their grits are amazing, their gravies are perfect, their biscuits are to die for, and their Mac n cheese is creamy delicious goodness. I haven't tried their lunch menu myself because I can't bring myself to not order breakfast. Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Their selection is rotating and I've genuinely never been disappointed. Usually I have to take their stuff to go because I'm so full from breakfast, and it's usually pretty rich. Which is actually fine with me because that only means that i am able to have 7 bites more then once in a week . The service is always excellent! Going back recently for breakfast was a great reminder of how delicious the food is here. Had a couple or friends grab a spot in line around 8:30, a bit prior to opening time which is 9 a.m. on Saturdays. Once my party of 8 entered, we approached the counter separately to place our orders. The young man working the register was full of pep. He clearly had his coffee. I envy his morning person mentality. Food arrived in good timing. Not everything at once, but no major lags. Every bite (which totaled more than 7) was full of flavor. Those grits are perfection. No need for salt or pepper. They are impeccably seasoned. My hashbrown cakes with pimento cheese also had me luxuriating over each morsel. Blissful flavor. My main entrée was also soooo good. Our trays were bussed appropriately and all staff was amiable. My only improvement would be the state of the restroom. Only an hour into being open and the trash can was overflowing. Finally tried Se7en Bites after hearing about it for years. We got a few things to share. The smash burger was really good, super flavorful and messy in the best way. The fried green tomato and pimento cheese worked really well together. The quiche of the day (bacon, cheddar, chive) was decent. It's made with more of a phyllo-style crust, so it was really flaky, but I personally missed that classic buttery pie crust. The Minnie Pearl was my favorite by far. The chicken was crispy, the waffle had that slight sweetness, and everything together just worked. Probably one of the better chicken and waffles I've had in Orlando. It has a casual, cozy, neighborhood feel. It's not very big, so it can get a little busy, but it adds to that local spot vibe. Service was friendly and straightforward. Nothing over the top, but everything came out in a reasonable time and the staff was welcoming. They also have a bakery case with everything made in-house. Found this place on yelp. After a little more googling, decided to come in and try it out. Atmosphere was unique. It gives off a relaxing vibe. Most of the staff was friendly. The flow was very structured to handle busier times. Food descriptions were very well written. The menu had me excited and anticipating and salivating for the food. My excitement began to wear off after sitting at my table for 30 minutes and watching people who came in 20 minutes after us, get their food promptly. We stopped one of the staff who kept walking by and asked them about our food order. She brushed it off about tickets and the orders before us being worked on. I tried to explain nicely that the people getting their food were people who came in after us but she brushed it off and never checked the kitchen for us. Another worker walked by which was very helpful. He went to the kitchen and found there was an issue with our ticket not making it into the kitchen. He apologized, brought us cookies and made sure the food came out properly. Onto the food. Not sure what diners and dives felt. While the place was neat and the menu was exciting, the flavor was lacking. The hamburger was not seasoned. The hash brown casserole was bland. The grits were just meh. Visiting from California and had to give this place a try. My husband and I walked in and McKenzie was there to greet us. She was absolutely amazing! She explained the menu and gave us recommendations and unfortunately how to tell us that the pot pies were sold out (understandably so since we arrived an hour before closing). Keep in mind the kitchen closes 15 minutes before the restaurant does*** My husband and I decided to split the Minnie Pearl, which is their amazing take on chicken and waffles. However, I definitely think their grits were the star of the show! I believe they were a cheddar cheese and chive grit, and they were absolutely amazing! You order inside at the register and then they come to the table and bring your food easy process. I ordered the "Bacon Morning Biscuit" and "Agua Fresca Strawberry Limeade". The food came quick even though it was pretty packed. The food was good but really messy, the biscuit comes apart the second you touch it. Not a fan of when food is messy but at least the food was good. The limeade was good as well but it was $7 which I thought was a little overpriced. I finally got to put on my coworkers to Se7enBites! I've been coming here over the years for breakfast and lunch and everything is always so fresh and good. We came in for lunch on a Thursday around noon and there was no line. You should note this restaurant is closed Monday-Wednesday. We were greeted by friendly staff. I ordered a Southern Cobb salad with fried chicken and ranch dressing and a diet coke. We grabbed the end of one of the long tables in the dining area. Food came out pretty quick. My salad was large and very good. All the veggies were crisp and the chicken was cooked great. I really enjoyed my lunch and I know the others girls said they did too. I've been here before and I will definitely come back. I got basically a Nutella mocha. It was good, on the sweet side though. I got the smash burger with ranch seasoned fries. The burger need some sort of sauce because it gets a little dry and the fries need more ranch seasoning. Other than 2-3 fries that were randomly heavily seasoned, the ranch flavor was pretty subtle. From the bakery I got the cookie bar (probably wouldn't get again), cream cheese brownie (pretty basic, but good), and the peach and elderflower galette (would get again). The specials menu was full of amazing choices, but we both zeroed in on the "Colonel Marmalade in the Dining Room with the Knife." What is that, you ask? A masterpiece of a biscuit stacked with pimento cheese, buttermilk fried chicken, smothered in sausage gravy, topped with a perfect over-medium egg, and finished with a dollop of orange blossom marmalade. It's served with a side of cheddar chive grits. The portions are generous, and every component was flawless. The chicken had an incredible crust, the biscuit was flaky and buttery, and the touch of marmalade created the perfect sweet-and-savory bite. The grits were creamy, savory, and totally crave-worthy. I don't even typically like breakfast, but this was easily one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The service matched the quality of the food. After ordering, you get a number and seat yourself. Our food and drinks came out incredibly quickly. The floor is well-staffed with a team that is consistently friendly and attentive, quickly clearing plates so your table never feels crowded. On your way to the tables, you pass a gorgeous bakery counter with seasonal selections and staples displayed under glass. Food so good, it put us in a coma. This place may have the best chicken and waffles that you will ever eat. Pearl sugar waffles with a piece of crunchy fried chicken, egg, and housemade vanilla syrup...the only thing that could go wrong is a sugar crash if you're over the age of 20. But, it's well worth it. The grits that it came with were deliciously savoury as well. I placed a pick-up order so I didn't have to deal with the line that wrapped around the building. It was very easy to place the order over the phone and I would highly recommend it after seeing the crowd dining in on a Saturday afternoon. Bit tough to navigate through the crowd and no signage for picking up to-go orders but an employee saw me looking lost and assisted right away. The bakery in the corner is so neat, I purchased a ding dong and the bacon smores. Honestly, could have done without the smore. The ding dong was a moist chocolate cake covered in a chocolatey coat (my partner ate half of the dingdong and said his bite had an odd chewy chunk in it, my half didn't have the present) but the smore just tasted stale. The marshmallow was chewy, graham cracker was soft and crumbly, and no distinct flavor from the bacon...just odd bits of chewy things throughout this whole dessert. Still our favorite breakfast place ever! It is an absolute must-visit place everytime we travel down to Orlando. Their fried chicken is outstanding in how crunchy they are in their outside and how juicy they remain inside. Everybody at the table enjoyed their waffles and pancakes and biscuits. I think their grits might have been a little undersalted or underseasoned from our last visit a couple years ago, but they were still good. Oh, the gravy in one of the specials was fantastic. How is this my first time trying Se7en Bites? I actually found this place on Yelp! They do breakfast, brunch and lunch! I came for brunch and got "se7en Benedict" and wow it was delicious. We went to Se7en Bites for the first time this past Sunday for breakfast. We were greeted at the door, but asked to wait outside before entering and were handed a menu. Being that it was our first time, there was a lot to look over. And once we were admitted to the queue inside, there were several more boards to read everywhere I looked with specials, drinks, pastries, desserts, etc. It felt a bit rushed with having to speedily review five different menus. We were also advised there was a 15-20 minute wait for inside seating or immediate for outdoor, so we chose outdoor and were allowed to enter. The employee at the register was super welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I quickly settled on the Se7en Benedict because I love benedicts, yolky eggs, fried green tomatoes, and hollandaise sauce. It came with a over medium egg, but I asked for over easy because I love the extra yolk. It also came with a side, so I exchanged the grits for the hashbrown casserole. At the suggestion of the cashier, we went over to the pastry/dessert bar and ordered the cinnamon roll that's apparently only available on Sundays. We walked out back and grabbed a picnic table. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't "more" to the back patio. It was just right along the parking lot with not much ambiance. Our coffees and water were delivered soon after we sat down, and we ate the cinnamon roll while we waited for our sandwiches. It was good, but nothing that made it special from other cinnamon rolls I've had, particularly since it was $8. The sandwiches were delivered not long afterwards. They came out freshly made and hot. They were also very big. The biscuits were so tall, fluffy, and flavorful. My egg was cooked the regular way (over medium), though, so it wasn't super juicy for the otherwise dryish biscuit. Thankfully there was also hollandaise sauce. The sandwich was delicious, and the hashbrown casserole was amazing and creamy. Would we go back? For the food, definitely. I love the unique options that are offered and would love to try different breakfast or lunch sandwiches. For the price? Not so much. We spent over $50 for two for breakfast for a fast casual experience. For the pricing, it should definitely be full service. We came here because it was all over TikTok and Instagram but honestly, I'd say save your money. It's pricey, and we waited in a long line outside in the sun for over 20 minutes. The Salted Caramel w/ Walnuts Waffle is from the special menu but was the perfect amount of sweetness and saltiness in each bite. The Farmers Breakfast Sandwich has eggs, pimento cheese, fried green tomato and with your choice of bacon or sausage. All these different flavors mesh together delightfully in every bite. The 3 Little Pigs contains a biscuit that's stack and layered with baked egg, ham, pimento cheese, bacon, cheddar chive grits and creamy sausage gravy. The flavors in this were absolutely crazy good. Overall, Se7en Bites is some where I always recommend to anyone looking for a new place in the Orlando area for breakfast. I recently got brunch here with my friend and it was so good! We went on a Saturday so it was quite busy, but the wait wasn't too long. It is very spacious inside and they also have outdoor seating as an option. I got the 7th Trimester biscuit and the mac and cheese was incredible. But no as we got closer in the line we moved the car to their designated parking lot in fear of being towed on my birthday. Waitress came back pretty quick with our drinks and we were able to add to our order with her by giving her the card to run. Food was good- the waffles were light but caramelized and sweet- the chicken was juicy and the grits were well s adónde just added a little salt for my preference. While I enjoyed my food my partner said he ordered the best meal. So he absolutely enjoyed his order and my picky sister ate all her food. This is an order at the front and then they come and bring you your food. The menu is EXTREMELY over priced. I paid $15 for a pot pie that was smaller than the frozen ones you buy at the store. The inside had zero gravy/creamy consistency. It was pure dry mush, the first one I received was still cold on the inside which implies it was frozen. If I am paying $15 for a tiny pot pie I would expect it to be hot and fresh. A basic chicken and waffle was $20 and came with a tiny side of grits. Very overpriced and food is very mid.
