Was in Orlando today and decided to try out seven bites due to reviews. Sadly I ordered the Benedict and was pretty disappointed. Not much flavor at all in the sauce. You also only get 1 biscuit, a slice of bacon and 1 egg. These were baked/cooked well but should get at least 2 eggs with bacon atop the halves of a biscuit for the price. This normally comes with grits but I subbed for a salad which was fresh and had a delicious dressing. 3 stars for the food. The restaurant is very cool and has a fantastic looking bakery section. Honestly I thought it would be all hype- but I was pleasantly surprised! When we arrive, there was a small line in front of us in order to get in and place our order. We do have a small child with us, but we decided to sit outside. This made the wait a lot shorter than I'm waiting for inside. It was very hot, but they do have a nice outdoor area that's shaded and they do have an additional fan to help with the heat. Our food came out relatively quickly, and everything was delicious. We did decide to go back after we ate to grab some dessert to go. I do think it's interesting that they have the dessert in a different section/ different cashier. Oh man, I actually forget the exact names of what we ordered. I do remember asking the cashier for recommendation and she told us her favorites and what she recommended. She did not list the item I originally wanted as her favorite, but she did note that it was popular and one of the most ordered by newcomers. Had a couple or friends grab a spot in line around 8:30, a bit prior to opening time which is 9 a.m. on Saturdays. Once my party of 8 entered, we approached the counter separately to place our orders. The young man working the register was full of pep. He clearly had his coffee. I envy his morning person mentality. Food arrived in good timing. Not everything at once, but no major lags. Every bite (which totaled more than 7) was full of flavor. Those grits are perfection. Everything "Looked" delicious and as you'd expect with the prices but after eating. This place was like a taste of heaven. It was so incredibly good. Great southern comfort food and atmosphere. Really laid back, with a warm and inviting ambiance. The owner Trina Gregory-Propst came over and introduced herself and posed for pictures with me. Her and her restaurant were featured in 'Diners Drive-Ins and Dives'. I had their famous Chicken Pot Pie which was also featured on the show, and it was light and flaky and delicious, filled with beautifully seasoned chicken and peas and all the pie veggies and goodness baked in a white wine sauce. It's made with more of a phyllo-style crust, so it was really flaky, but I personally missed that classic buttery pie crust. The Minnie Pearl was my favorite by far. She explained the menu and gave us recommendations and unfortunately how to tell us that the pot pies were sold out (understandably so since we arrived an hour before closing). Keep in mind the kitchen closes 15 minutes before the restaurant does*** My husband and I decided to split the Minnie Pearl, which is their amazing take on chicken and waffles. However, I definitely think their grits were the star of the show! I believe they were a cheddar cheese and chive grit, and they were absolutely amazing! Found this place on yelp. After a little more googling, decided to come in and try it out. Atmosphere was unique. It gives off a relaxing vibe. Most of the staff was friendly. The flow was very structured to handle busier times. Food descriptions were very well written. The menu had me excited and anticipating and salivating for the food. My excitement began to wear off after sitting at my table for 30 minutes and watching people who came in 20 minutes after us, get their food promptly. We stopped one of the staff who kept walking by and asked them about our food order. She brushed it off about tickets and the orders before us being worked on. I tried to explain nicely that the people getting their food were people who came in after us but she brushed it off and never checked the kitchen for us. I am a huge fan of this place. I think Orlando is not a great town for brunch, but then I go to se7enbites on the weekend for breakfast and brunch every few months and remember that we really don't need anywhere else as long as this place is still serving it up as they do. This is one of the most friendly and welcoming businesses in central Florida, and I absolutely adore them for it. This place is counter order with full table service. I believe before the pandemic that you self served drinks, but the full service change has definitely been for the better. They've got a rotating list of specials that you can see on their instagram too. This place always delivers quality food. Their fried chicken is excellent, I've never seen an overcooked egg, their grits are amazing, their gravies are perfect, their biscuits are to die for, and their Mac n cheese is creamy delicious goodness. I haven't tried their lunch menu myself because I can't bring myself to not order breakfast. Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Pearl sugar waffles with a piece of crunchy fried chicken, egg, and housemade vanilla syrup...the only thing that could go wrong is a sugar crash if you're over the age of 20. It was very easy to place the order over the phone and I would highly recommend it after seeing the crowd dining in on a Saturday afternoon. Bit tough to navigate through the crowd and no signage for picking up to-go orders but an employee saw me looking lost and assisted right away. The bakery in the corner is so neat, I purchased a ding dong and the bacon smores. Honestly, could have done without the smore. The ding dong was a moist chocolate cake covered in a chocolatey coat (my partner ate half of the dingdong and said his bite had an odd chewy chunk in it, my half didn't have the present) but the smore just tasted stale. At the suggestion of the cashier, we went over to the pastry/dessert bar and ordered the cinnamon roll that's apparently only available on Sundays. We walked out back and grabbed a picnic table. We were a bit disappointed that there wasn't "more" to the back patio. It was just right along the parking lot with not much ambiance. Our coffees and water were delivered soon after we sat down, and we ate the cinnamon roll while we waited for our sandwiches. It was good, but nothing that made it special from other cinnamon rolls I've had, particularly since it was $8. The sandwiches were delivered not long afterwards. They came out freshly made and hot. They were also very big. The biscuits were so tall, fluffy, and flavorful. My egg was cooked the regular way (over medium), though, so it wasn't super juicy for the otherwise dryish biscuit. Thankfully there was also hollandaise sauce. The sandwich was delicious, and the hashbrown casserole was amazing and creamy. Would we go back? For the food, definitely. Once you order with one of their most wonderful cashiers, you are provided with a number to place at your table for the food and drinks to be delivered to. As you wait, make your way over to bakery area that displays so many yummy, mouth-watering options to choose from. You might chuckle on some of the names that can be read on the cookie, brownie, scorn, etc. displays. Now to the food which always draws me back to this place. Everything you order will have so much flavor and seasoning in every bite that you'll hope that everyone at the table got something different to try. The Salted Caramel w/ Walnuts Waffle is from the special menu but was the perfect amount of sweetness and saltiness in each bite. The Farmers Breakfast Sandwich has eggs, pimento cheese, fried green tomato and with your choice of bacon or sausage. All these different flavors mesh together delightfully in every bite. The 3 Little Pigs contains a biscuit that's stack and layered with baked egg, ham, pimento cheese, bacon, cheddar chive grits and creamy sausage gravy. The flavors in this were absolutely crazy good. Overall, Se7en Bites is some where I always recommend to anyone looking for a new place in the Orlando area for breakfast. The staff are always welcoming, the seating areas are super cleaned and cleared within minutes of parties so everyone has a chance to get a seat to eat and there are plenty of items on the menu for everyone. I recently got brunch here with my friend and it was so good! We went on a Saturday so it was quite busy, but the wait wasn't too long. It is very spacious inside and they also have outdoor seating as an option. I got the 7th Trimester biscuit and the mac and cheese was incredible. The crushed chips and bacon added a nice texture and the biscuit was soft and buttery. I also tried my friend's chicken caesar salad wrap and I wish I had ordered one for myself because it tasted great! Next time I come I'll definitely order it.
