    Maple Dose
    Victoria S.

Everytime I pass by this place at the Lake Eola Farmers Market I want to try it! I finally got the Maple Dose sandwich the other day. The girl at the register recommended it over the regular sandwich. They serve it with some maple syrup on the side. The bread is so pillowy and sweet. The maple syrup went perfect with the sandwich. I really enjoyed it! I would definitely come here again!

Eggdose is a stop that you must make at the Winter Garden Farmer's market. They make the best egg sandwiches. The Maple Dose comes with brioche French toast, organic maple syrup, smoked thick cut bacon, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese. It was amazing! I'd like to try the Benedict next time. The staff were very busy and there was a long line but they were able to serve customers relatively quickly. Most people just walk away with their sandwich and eat it while browsing the market. You couldn't ask for a better food to eat while shopping.

I'll preface by saying even via takeout, these were egg sandwiches were fire. So good! Brioche was great, egg was cooked well and their sauce was so yummy. I did the scrambled, with cheese and avocado. Would get it again.

Veryyyyy good breakfast sandwich. It is messy but very tasty, love the hollandaise sauce. Staff was very friendly, lines do get long most days. Love to hit egg dose if im at lake eola park for the market. Tent looks nice and very easy to spot.

5 Resounding stars for the Maple Dose egg sandwich!! I had been hearing about Eggdose for a while and was lucky enough to try them at the Winter Garden Farmers Market last weekend. The line was a bit long, but let me tell you that it is SO worth it and the staff is HUSTLING under that tent. I got the Maple Dose which has the buns covered in powdered sugar that has been caramelized slightly, and there is maple syrup on it (incl an extra shot of syrup if you want to dunk- but I didn't use that). The salty/sweet combo was everything I desired and more! AND, the size was MUCH bigger than I anticipated. The picture is deceptively small, but I probably could have shared this! Overall, this totally hit the spot and fueled my for a day at the market (and I skipped lunch because I was so full from finishing the entire thing!).

I wish i can give more stars, this breakfast popout is one of the best in Orlando. Have been a couple of times to Winter Garden Farmers market. Sandwiches are so delicious and fresh, everything is made by order. Lines get so long but is worth the wait. Fast and friendly service. Have tried the scrambled, maple dose and benedic. They all so flavorful and they serve good portions.

Love grabbing a quick sandwich from here while I'm at the Lake Eola farmer's market. A must have for me. Workers are quick and the environment is fast paced as it is a farmer's market.

I have been wanting to try Eggdose for a while and I was finally able to, and they did not disappoint! Eggdose is a pop-up that specializes in egg sandwiches. I had the opportunity to try them at the Winter Garden Farmer's Market, and I am still thinking about the sandwich and can't wait to try more soon. I stopped by when there wasn't much of a line and my order was quickly taken, and I got my sandwich shortly after. Everything is made to order, so the sandwich and egg are fresh! I got the Mexican which had a fried egg, avocado, cotija cheese, salsa verde, fresh cream, chives, and tortilla chips on it. It was SO good! I was so sad when it was gone and I definitely considered heading back to grab another one. All the flavors worked really well together and the brioche bun is the perfect finish to the sandwich. If you spot Eggdose, I definitely recommend giving them a try! As long as you like egg sandwiches, I think you will love their food.

Wow, wow, WOW! I have been following along with Eggdose on IG for awhile now, hoping to catch one of their local pop-ups. These are some of the most beautiful breakfast egg sandwiches I have ever seen and I've been drooling over their photos for months. This morning I had to run an errand downtown and decided to cut through some of the roads in the Thornton Park neighborhood to get back home. I just happened to drive by Sunset Bodega located on the corner of S. Eola and Jackson St. and saw that Eggdose was popped up outside. The way I hit the brakes and skirrrrrrted down a side street to park immediately lol. I checked their IG stories and saw they were currently serving until 1pm with the menu that was available, so I hopped out to order some sandwiches for me & my husband. There were two friendly gentlemen preparing the food and they kindly greeted me and instructed me to place my order on their kiosk/iPad ordering system. It was super quick and easy and I like how this method allows them to continue focusing on the food preparation instead of having to take orders. While I was waiting for my food, I went inside Sunset Bodega to grab a coffee and was surprised to find such a cute little corner market inside. I learned that Eggdose is popped up there every Thurs/Fri, then they're at the Winter Garden Farmer's Market on Saturdays and the Orlando Farmer's Market at Lake Eola on Sundays. My order took about 10 minutes and they handed me a fancy yellow box with my sandwiches inside. I must say that their branding & packaging is on point and SUPER impressive. I legit felt like I was receiving a present. Upon opening the box, the sandwiches were wrapped and inserted in a little cardboard holder -- such a nice presentation. I got their signature Scrambled sandwich with bacon and avocado and my husband wanted the Maple Dose (soft-scrambled eggs, thick cut bacon, and cheddar on a brioche French toast style bun with maple syrup drizzle). I'm happy to report that YES, these sandwiches taste as good as they look. The eggs are prepared perfectly and the buns are so fluffy & soft. They are also a very generous size and we were stuffed afterwards. All in all, I am definitely now a fan and can't wait to catch another one of their pop-ups. I look forward to seeing their business continue to grow and maybe even one day have a brick-and-mortar location!

    beautiful sandwich!

from google: "Breakfast pop-up serving breakfast egg sandwiches" I have had the most delicious breakfast sandwich that you could call in the best way a elevated mcgriddle sandwich. It was a food tent at a farmers market, but there is one at lake eola farmers market and one at the winter garden farmers market. You can only get soft drinks and breakfast sandwiches here, but the line is long and the eggs are fresh. So so so good, will definitely be back!

    Birra weekly special
    Mike T.

My sister in law has been wanting to try this place for a while. So I went without her to make her jealous. LOL. The Birra Weekly special was just ok. The Maple dose was delicious. Kind of messy to eat. Long line because of the hype. Is it worth it? Depends on if you are in a hurry or not. Definitely worth a try if you have time to wait in line. Make sure to grab a bunch of napkins!

Always see this place on social media and finally made it lit to the farmers market and this was my first stop. Since I did get there early it was busy but not nearly as busy as I usually see it. I must say it was definitely wort the wait. The sandwich was delicious! The sauce they put on it made it extra good! The staff is super friendly. I can't wait to go again !

    Steak Sandwich
    Arina K.

Heard lots of good things about this pop up! Was maybe a bit too excited to try it, looks better than it tastes, in my opinion. It is possible that I got the wrong thing. Tried their steak sandwich and the flavors just were not for me. The pickle did not go well together with the steak (also not the best pickle). Even worse so, cotija cheese just did not belong there, together with pickled and steak. It sounded good because it's all the things I love, but the combination of those flavors was not it... again, aesthetically looks pleasing, don't let it trick you! Steak wasn't very soft, but decent. Really thinking I should try something else, but 3 stars for the steak sandwich :(

Orange Blossom Trail to patron them and always wondered why there aren't any trucks in the city. That's why when I approached the corner of Colonial and Fern Creek driving home from work one day, I was quite delighted to see a couple of new food trucks that have just recently made this intersection their home. One Caribbean, another Puerto Rican. I chose to go with JRS since I've driven by for a couple of weeks and was drawn in by the BoriBori sandwich pictured on the truck. In my food truck travels, I find that most serve Puerto Rican fare. It's each PR truck's signature dish that makes them unique from one another. JRS has 3 of them! BoriBori, Shrimp Casserole and Octopus Salad! As I examined the menu, the owner/chef was counseling me on his different dishes and proudly stated the BoriBori was his signature sandwich. SOLD, I'm going with the BoriBori. THICK cut ham, CHUNKS of chicken and steak, fresh lettuce, tomato, American and Swiss cheese served in a baguette and SHELLACKED with mayo/ketchup. As he cooked my sandwich fresh to order, the scent of cooked meats were teasing me while I paced back and forth in front of his truck. While his sous chef was preparing the sandwich to go, I found the owner/chef to be very personable and down to earth when answering my questions. When I was handed the bag, I put my nose to the opening and wanted to eat it right there on the spot! I hurried back to my car and rushed home while the tasty aromas wafted within. The first thing I thought upon chomping was that it was packed with meat! Their flyer doesn't joke when it says, "We Mean Meat". At first glance, it doesn't seem like there's much in the baguette, but when you bite down, your incisors and canines are put to good use. Carnivorous! The mayo and ketchup bring the orgy of plentiful pernil, bistec and pollo together so well. Nice. Other standard menu items include El Giova (home made burger), Alcapurrias (meat filled fritters), Cheese Steaks, Wraps, Stuffed Pillows, Tostones, Mofongo, Hot Dogs and Kabobs. I'm definitely going to try their signature Shrimp Casserole and being that I'm an adventurous eater, the Octopus Salad will also be a must when I return.

Two Words . . VERY…read moreRICH I keep forgetting that this restaurant is essentially serving Southern style comfort food in an upscale setting. Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.
