I'm sharing this in the hope that others have a better experience than I did as I was really excited to try this place because I had heard several recommendations for it! First, the staff deserves credit--their energy and kindness were 10/10. The person I interacted with was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was good, but I was disappointed that my order was made incorrectly. I specifically asked for only tomatoes and pickles on my burger, but it came with cheese and a sauce. Luckily, I was planning to eat just the patty, so I was able to rinse it off, but if I had intended to eat it as a regular burger, it would have completely ruined the meal as the bun was covered in the sauce. My sub was excellent, and I appreciated the staff's sauce recommendations. However, I was surprised that the homemade sauce came with a $1.10 charge for each side of sauce--that feels pretty excessive. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive one of the sauces I paid for. I understand they are homemade but it is a 1.5 oz container... My biggest disappointment, though, was the chips. It may sound minor, but when a meal is priced and advertised as a complete meal, you'd expect a reasonable portion. The "side" of chips was literally about seven whole chips' worth, mostly crushed into pieces. It was especially disappointing when compared to the portion of fries. Overall, the food has a lot of potential, and the staff was fantastic, but the incorrect order, extra sauce charges, missing sauce, and tiny chip portion really took away from the experience. My advice: upgrade the chips so you actually get a side, double-check your order before you leave (even if there's no one else in there) , and be aware that the sauces cost extra.
Easy laid back vibe and delicious variety of choices made with some Puerto Rican favorites. Went with the Cuban but asked for the aioli sauce on the side and the tater tots were perfection! Area is cozy so no big parities here but definitely worth a pair or trio to join. The spot offers quick service and is friendly, parking is right alongside the building and we loved the freshly grilled offerings, would return when in town again!
Came here a ways back but finally doing a review and boy do they deserve it. Tiny hole in the wall but once you're inside there is a very nice amount of seating, both tables and a barstool area to sit at. I placed an order and proceeded to sit at the bar area and wait for my food. Once it came out (super fast despite how many people were there), I understood why the sandwiches here are a little on the pricier side. The Ya-Mon which is jerk chicken, sweet plantains, pork rinds, jalapeno pesto, mango jam, gouda, jerk lime mayo, was heavenly. All the flavors blended in perfectly and the bread was so soft. The lime mayo was outstanding! It was about $16 and we'll worth every penny. The staff was super friendly and got everything cooked and sent out to each table very quickly. I will say if you come here during peak times, be ready to take the order to eat in your car or somewhere else because the tables filled up insanely fast while I was here!
Ordered the ninja sandwich with chips. It was a good size sandwich. Great flavors. Yet, the pork was in chunks with a lot of fat. Too much fat for my liking where I had to take those pieces out. It killed the flavoring of the sandwich the more i ate it. I also wish there was more chips in the bag. The handful of chips was not enough.
Came here with my husband for the first time tiktok said it was good so we came to give it a try. The ambiance of the place is small and quaint has a section to eat on high tops some seats inside and outside seating. The owner was saying hello to everyone very friendly hreat hospitality from everyone. The food the pastrami and egg and cheese was a great breakfast sandwich hit the spot. The Medusa sandwich was cold was unaware of that so wasn't to my liking I like hot sandwiches. The chips were homemade.
I'm always looking for a good sandwich and I'm really happy to say that I found a great place in Orlando within the Milk District. They have such great and unusual sandwiches and as I've said in other reviews, making choices when there are so many things that sound good is not among my strong traits. I decided to go with the half and half and I got The Ira which was pastrami, havarti, homemade sauerkraut and thousand island dressing. I got it with the cup of tomato bisque soup. I absolutely loved this combo! This was probably the best tomato bisque soup I've ever eaten. It was topped with Gouda cheese and homemade croutons. It was creamy and so flavorful, everything you want in a tomato bisque and the crunch from the crouton added delicious texture to the soup. The sandwich was so delicious as well but I was only able to eat half of it since the cup of soup was so large. They have a chalkboard with several specials on there so I suggest you look at the board before ordering in case there's something there you might want. It's not very large inside and I was there at around 1 o'clock on a Saturday and the place filled up quickly. The place was very clean and the guy who took our order was nice. I highly suggest you checking this place out if you're in the area and craving a good sandwich.
Overall great service and more than generous portions. The Ira San which tasted more coleslaw than kraut and the McDowell, while named as a play on words the Big Mac, the patties lacked flavor. Tots were awesome!
On our way to the airport for our visitors to go home, we searched and found this sandwich shop as a different alternative to common sub shop places. The order taker explained the options, since this was our first time here. Many different sandwiches and some specials were open to us, and we picked four different choices to try a lot of things. Most came with home made chips and sandwiches were all large and we took home a few half sandwiches to eat later . The tomato bisque with a Gouda cheese addition was hot and tasty along with a half grilled cheese. A small smash burger was huge, sloppy to eat, but very tasty and the other two specials were exceptional.

The restaurant was easy to get to and has a large parking lot behind the building, so parking was not a problem during our visit. The area around the restaurant was clean, as was the inside. It is not a very large restaurant and there are only a few places to sit. There were about two tables outside and, inside, a bench along the wall with about four small two-person tables. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to you when it is ready. The menu has a good selection of burgers and sandwiches with some interesting combinations to choose from. The very nice lady who took our order explained that they make all of their own bread, which I thought was a nice touch. You can also see part of the kitchen behind and to the left of the counter where the food is being prepared. Drinks are available in a cooler behind the counter, and we ordered two bottles of IBC Root Beer with our meal. We ordered two different sandwiches, which came out fairly quickly. Each was served on a cutting board-style tray with chips and the sandwich wrapped in foil. The lady who took our order recommended that we leave the sandwiches partially wrapped in the foil while eating them because otherwise they could get pretty messy. It was good advice. Both sandwiches were very good and there was plenty of food. The sandwiches were about $15-$18 each and the drinks were around $3 each, which I thought was reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. Overall, Bad As's Sandwich was a nice find with very good food, fresh-made bread, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. There isn't a lot of seating, so keep that in mind if you visit during a busy time, but we enjoyed our meal and would definitely consider going back. Enjoy!
Well, it's in the name...these sandwiches are Bad Ass!! Genuinely gourmet flavors in every bite. We had the Ya-Mon which was so perfectly complex, and the IRA which was simple yet bursting with flavor. Can't wait to try more!
We went to Bad As's for the first time and absolutely loved it. Nikki was amazing and took the time to walk us through the menu, offering great recommendations and even suggesting which house-made sauces pair best with different sandwiches and sides. We ordered the Capone (cold) and the Chopper, and both were so good. The flavors were on point, and the tots were perfectly crispy and super flavorful. I was bummed to hear the Sandman was sold out-I'm really hoping to try the ropa vieja, so please keep it on the menu a bit longer! We will definitely be back.
Delicious food and wonderful customer service! My boyfriend and I stopped in after attending the OUC Half Marathon expo and every bite was better than the last. We did they half sandwich combo. He got the Bad Ass with fries and I got the Ruler with a salad. Every bite of the sandwich was better than the last. We gave each other one bite of our sandwich to try and then stopped sharing because we liked our own too much. Nikki working the register was great and full of advice on what to choose and Jose made the food so well I would've ordered another sandwich if I thought I could fit it in my stomach! Can someone tell me where they get their bread? Because I want to eat like a whole bag of them.
First off the name is what definitely got my attention! Driving by and just had to try it! Service was amazing. It's a very small spot, so only a Couple a tables. The Food ... so good. Different flavors that you wouldn't expect on burgers. Will definitely be back.
They brought their burgers over from Bad A's Burgers. They sold out of the burgers while we were there, but I do think they have a great burger with some great toppings. They still have all the amazing sandwiches and super friendly staff. The location is clean and we opted to use the bar seating while we were there, but they have booths and tables as well. If you have not been in a while now is a good time to stop in since they have an even bigger selection of great food! read more

First time here but had heard about it many times. There is a small parking lot at the establishment and I was lucky to snag a spot. It is a small space with some seating. It wasn't too busy when I came by kind of in between breakfast and lunch. They have breakfast, sandwiches and burgers all day along with some specials. The staff was very friendly and mentioned that they make their bread from scratch. I ordered the BA Burger with some french fries to go. It was pretty good and juicy! The fries are thin and crispy so yum! While I waited, I noticed how well the kitchen flowed and how the staff making the food was very mindful of not being in each other's way. Looks like they have a good system in place. Next time, I'd like to try their breakfast sandwiches! read more

Came here for my partners birthday and was very impressed with the selection and overall creations we chose. The person checking us out was very helpful in answering questions, I loved that you could see into the area where the magic happens (aka kitchen). The space is small which I think gives it an extra special charm read more

Delicious and unique sandwiches! You won't get a plain ham and cheese here. I had the classic sandwich named after the shop. It had beef, pork, chicken, havarti, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions, crispy chips, and roasted garlic aioli on it. Perfection. I think the sandwiches get crazier from there. I will say that I took this to go, but the seating inside looked small. Still, I plan on coming back to try more. read more

Bad As's Sandwiches is fantastic! We've been enjoying it for the last 4 years. The 1/2 Ninja and 1/2 Salad with spicy line dressing is delicious. Really. The pork belly is perfectly crusted and the salad is simple yet complex with their vegetable choices. I love the dressing. I would buy a bottle on a weekly basis. The service is always great and the restaurant is clean and neat. The music is pretty good as well. I never understand why they don't draw more of an evening crowd, might be why they cut their evening hours through the week. Come on Orlando! We need to support terrific non-chain restaurants such as Bad As's. Small businesses are what make the Milk District area so special. Get out there! read more

I've got to say, this place lives up to the name! They've taken something as simple as a sandwich and elevated it to the premier league! I had their hangover sandwich, as I was in the mood for something brunch-ish. It comes with sliced beef, a fried egg, house bacon, raisin aoli, crispy onions and havarti cheese. The sliced beef is tender enough to chew easily. The fried egg and aoli bring it all together with a wonderful burst of flavors in your mouth. Delicious!! What actually surprised me the most about my order, though, was the tots. Normally, when I order tater tots at a restaurant, they're limp and flavorless. Restaurants often seem to treat this side as an afterthought. Not here, though! These tots were crispy, well-seasoned and bursting with flavor! You know a restaurant is good when they treat even the smallest of their sides with care, which is the case here. The food here is spot on and worth every penny. I highly recommend them! read more

Another year. Another Gobble Gobble. This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving holiday traditions is that my friend and I come every year to dine in and enjoy the Gobble Gobble. We visited Sunday at lunchtime. The staff was welcoming and took our order with ease. We both upgraded the meals from chips to sweet potato fries. It's about a $4.95 upcharge each, but the sweet potato fries make all the difference. Our orders came out pretty fast. The sandwich is spectacular. The best version of Thanksgiving, in my opinion. The gravy is beyond flavorful, and I enjoyed dipping my fries in the gravy, too. The bread was soft yet sturdy enough for the ingredients. Thank you for serving delicious food! I've been meaning to try Bad As's for the longest time, and now that I have..I'm kicking myself for not going sooner! This place is worth the hype and more! The employees in here made the best first impression, and the food really took it home. I ordered the special, "Dr. Beefcakes," and haven't stopped craving it since. Their braised short rib is expertly cooked and their bama white bbq sauce is seriously addicting. I'm not always a big pickle fan, but the ones at Bad As's add the perfect crunchy tang to their sandwiches. I loved the house chips that come complimentary, and the plantains were also a tasty option! The only question I have outstanding is whether to go try something new at Bad As's sandwiches, or whether to try Bad As's Burgers next! read more
We ordered through Uber Eats and never again for this restaurant. My husband ordered the steakhouse sub with fries. The fries were soggy and flavorless. It was supposed to come with blue cheese sauce but it had no blue cheese flavor. I ordered the ruler sub with chicken, mushrooms, and cheese. The filling of my sub was good and the house-made potato chips were crunchy. The bread of both subs was soggy. The size was smaller than I expected for about $16 each. Been wanting to come here for a while after driving by it so many times. Took the opportunity to come in on a day and try it out. I will say that the place is very welcoming and the guy at the front was very helpful. I liked the setup inside and outside. It's in a nice spot on Primerose and the parking is small but it's an in and out place. I had the hangover and it was actually very good but pricey as they all were. The food was very good tho!! I had such a delicious meal here! Disclaimer...I've been looking at this menu since February when I booked my plane ticket to Orlando...I decided months ago on what sandwich I was going to get..but it still provided me with reading material. I was set on the Medusa. This sandwich consisted of House roasted turkey, bacon, gouda, pickled onion, lettuce, tomatoes, and kalamata olive cream. Have you ever been on cloud 9? This sandwich was delectable! This sandwich is also eligible for a pick 2. I had the delicious tomato soup that my cousin told me has huge chucks of Gouda in it. I love Gouda...and that's what closed the deal. It was the most creamy and flavorful tomato soup I've ever had. Get this soup. I promise you will have a Gouda time! We did get there slightly before closing, at 830 and I believe they close at 9. The staff was so nice and welcoming and let my group stay until about 915 to eat and chat. Presentation of the food is cute as well. Peep that cute cutting board! Even though I am not a local, I signed up for their rewards program as I was told points will never expire. Upon my first sign up I got 5% off my 1st order. I will absolutely return here every single time I am in Orlando. read more
I have been here a few times now, and each time our meals are truly bad a$$! I've never ordered a meal I didn't enjoy! The flavor profiles are unique - trust them that they work! The bread is the perfect vehicle for these sandwiches- its soft yet holds up to all the ingredients and doesn't get soggy faster than I can eat. I also appreciate that they wrap teh sandwiches so that they arent too messy to eat! My favorite items so far? The Hangover, The Black Knight, and the tots! Ambiance: This is a small shop, but they do have counter seating, 5 or so tables inside, as well as outdoor seating. We've never had trouble eating in! The paint and decor is fun, street art style. Service: Fantastic each time! The staff fits the vibe of the place, friendly, patient while you ponder over the unique and awesome sandwich choices, and always willing to give you a recommendation if you are overwhelmed or just can't decide! Parking: While they are in Mills50, they DO have a private parking lot. Major plus in my book! Price: The price point is on the high end for sandwiches: yesterday's trip was $42 for 2 sandwiches (one had steak), one with the included homemade chips, one with a tot upgrade, and a bottle of Natalie's lemonade. This sandwich joint is located near Downtown Orlando, in or near the milk district (I'm not very familiar with the Downtown Orlando area). The interior is quite small, with few tables, and some stool chairs by the counter you can sit to eat. The menu has 21 sandwiches listed. The sandwiches come with potato chips made in house. They have a cooler with a variety of nonalcoholic beverages you can choose from. There's no table service. You place the order at the register and wait for the food. I ordered the Django to go, which is a steak sandwich made with roasted ribeye, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and honey horseradish. This sandwich hit the spot! It was so good and savory! I had my cousin try it, and he immediately asked where did I get it from, as it hit that cheesesteak craving he's been having. If you're in the mood for a solid sandwich, and are in the Downtown Orlando area, give Bad As's Sandwich a try. It lives up to the name. read more
The name says it all!! This little sandwich shop of delectable goodness is a gem right in the heart of the milk district! Located on Primrose Dr, this small shop with a few seats inside and out offers some very uniquely crafted and freshly cooked sandwiches. Just walk right up to the counter and place your order, then watch your sandwich being made while drooling over all the other sandwiches on the board that you didn't choose I encourage you to check the menu and see which sandwich stands out to you. I really love that each sandwich is accompanied by a different aioli! Do check the menu board inside the store for their specials that change weekly! I ordered the Medusa (which has house roasted turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onions, gouda and kalamata olive cream) and their house made tomato bisque (chunks of gouda inside the soup!!).
