Cute little restaurant. Service was fast and friendly. Kinda pricey for the sandwich that I got. I thought it was going to b a thicker kind of grilled cheese sandwich but it was an average grilled that u make at home.
This is an adorable sandwich shop. I have seen it visiting other places and finally made it in. When I got there, a bit after 6, it was empty but it didn't take long before there was a busy area. The decor is really themed great. There are cheese graters used to frame the lights by the front door and I absolutely loved it. The menu seems to never change but there are about 14 different grilled cheeses or burgers you can pick from. I had their variation of the mushroom Swiss burger and it was perfectly cook to temperature. I also had an order of the truffle fries and they were crispy and hot put the fryer. I don't know how they cooked them but every fry was hot until I finished my meal. I definitely will go back and try some other sandwiches.
If you're craving a grilled cheese, this is the place to go! They have so many great options to choose from, with a great selection of cheeses. The worker at the register wasn't able to answer my friend's questions (they had never been there before) and in general seemed disinterested (they went straight back to sitting, looking at their phone once we had sat down to wait for our order). The place is clean and has super fun cheese themed decoration.
Food was good. Service is good. I had the brisket with the mac & cheese in it. The chicken chicken is not good, but the service is good. People are nice and friendly.
I've been to two other Toasted's (UCF and Lake Nona) and this one didn't do it for me. Maybe it was what I ordered. Maybe it was I felt like seating was kind of cramped. I will say 5 stars to the front-of-the-house staff for taking care of an issue. I'm not too sure on their kitchen procedures though. I ordered their Mexican Street Taco grilled cheese which had some pulled pork with some Mexican spices. The first sandwich I got, the meat inside was actually cold. I'm not sure how they store their fillings, but they need heated up before going into the sandwich. Grilled Cheese 101, right? And you'd think with being a grilled cheese shop (with cool cheesy walls), they'd have making grilled cheese perfected. The outside of the bread was, but the inside, not so much. They remade and the meat was hot this time, although I hit an occasional cold spot. It was tasty but the inside was a big over-stuffed and it lost the hole grilled cheese aspect. It should have cheese oozing out of it and that didn't happen. The night after eating, I had some severe abdominal pain that lasted about 3 days. I can't say for sure it was due to eating here, but all signs point to yes as the Magic 8 Ball would say. I spent 3 days eating bananas, applesauce and crackers. I didn't even WANT Taco Bell, so I knew it was serious. Burger King fries never even made me feel this way. I'd probably go back but stick to just basic grilled cheese. And remember if the food isn't hot, don't get the same thing as a replacement. I should know better by now.
This was my second time as Toasted but this time I tried the Winter Park location. This was my first time dining in as well. It wasn't too crowded and it clean. The sandwiches are so good! I didn't even know they had burgers now. They have a lot vegan options as well! The servers were nice and recommended their favorites. The sandwiches are made fresh. I had the buffalo chicken grilled cheese and the truffle fries. Both were so good. If a location was closer to me, I'd literally be there all the time!

I had the craving for grilled cheese and did some research and Toasted popped up. I put it in the GPS & it was about 20 mins from my house. Once i arrived it was a few ppl there waiting on their orders but we went right up to the counter to order. I ordered the Braised brisket sandwich. My husband ordered the Barbacoa sandwich & we added rosemary truffle fries. The food took about 10 mins before it was ready. We ate the truffle fried first & they were hot & fresh & oh so delicious. You could taste all the flavors with every bite. We were told the size we got was sharable but i know next time to get 2 orders. The sandwich's were thick and packed flavor, meat & cheese. I will def be back. I am interested in trying the burgers.
Most people would say going out to eat grill cheese is a waist because they can make it at home. But I think most people would be missing out on quality and variety of ideas they would not get at home. This place is one of such. They have a few different varieties of grilled cheese, several burgers, and salads; including vegan and glutten-free options. This a place I would recommend adults and young ones just as well. We stopped in on a Sunday night at about 7:30. It wasn't busy. We ordered their vegan burger options. My impossible burger came with vegan cheese fries. They were delicious. It's a very casual and small place. Good for families. read more
Family dinner out in Orlando we stopped on the way home. The kids got a grilled cheese and a order of mac and cheese. My wife got the impossible burger and i got the viva la vegan. I liked the viva la vegan more than the impossible but everything was good. The cashier was very nice. And inside was fun and a little silly. read more

We were in town to tour a potential college and saw this place had good reviews and a good vibe. We got there right before noon and they were only a couple people in there eating. There was a good bit of seating. The menu looked amazing it was hard to pick what to try. We tried the smokehouse grilled cheese and truffle fries and the the big cheese. It was all fresh hot and AMAZING! The cheese pull from the big cheese was my sons favorite and we absolutely loved the fries. We could definitely see what people labeled it as a small gem with a fun vibe. The service was good and we even heard some of the staff talking about trying different things to come up with new sandwiches that sounded so good and we love trying new things! We will definitely be back! read more

Most people see grilled cheese and will think, well I can make that at home. But we travel 20 miles for the perfect crunchy and savory sandwiches Toasted serves. A small chain restaurant in the Orlando areas that won't break your budget. This one is small, but the wait usually isn't long and the staff always kind and attentive. My favorite is the Smokehouse, pulled pork with mac and cheese in two slices of warm Texas toast bread and cheddar cheese, while my partner usually goes for the brisket. The BBQ sauce is highly recommended, and stick to the regular salted fries at this nice, little place that's also next to a little cupcake shop if looking for dessert afterwards... read more

Toasted is a great casual sandwich concept in the heart of Winter Park. Gourmet grilled cheese is their specialty, but they have burgers and a few other options which makes it great for a group to find something to suit everyone. We tried the buffalo grilled cheese and the Bahn Mi turkey burger (no cheese) and both were amazing! The sourdough and whole wheat bun were just incredible and perfectly toasted. The buffalo grilled cheese had a nice kick, and the turkey burger was juicy. I would definitely recommend Toasted as a good lunch spot in that area. read more
So many restaurants down this avenue and yet it feels that there are not enough options when you are looking for vegan or vegetarian food. But yes, there are options, and Toasted can supply some food for those dietary requirements. After a brief search for some veggie patties or burgers, I got a possible hit. I parked in this shopping center, there are lots of parking spaces available, and walked into a "under construction" area. The restaurant is clean inside despite the dirt and dust outside, and quiet also. I checked out the menu, one can never trust the menus posted online, and saw a few vegetarian/vegan options. I chose a "sweet heat" but swapped the beef patty for a vegetable based one (not an impossible one). I also got a side of fries and just chilled, I had time to kill. The food was good. The burger was soft. The girls behind the counter kept quiet. Very few people walked in, including one of those X-eats drivers. I may come back, although the fries were too generic for me, like I can make those at home but I am too lazy for that, take my money... the burger had a good combination of flavors, it was good overall. I am not a mac'n'cheese connoisseur nor have much grilled cheese expertise (can you feel the sarcasm?) but I think this may be a good place to try that out. the end. read more
I promised I'd update my review. It's been 2 years and I've been back a few times when I'm craving grilled cheese brisket (the one with bbq sauce). Today is also one of those days. It's still my favorite sandwich here. I like to get an extra bbq so I can have enough to dip both halves of the sandwich. The truffle fries are not the best in the world but they are worth ordering from time to time. My husband still isn't a huge fan of this place and he has tried multiple sandwiches, but he has found a few he doesn't mind having on occasion. So I updated my review to 4 stars. Service here is sketchy, lol. You'll get amazing service and the next time terrible service. It's incredibly inconsistent. You really never know what you'll get. So again, 4 stars overall. Probably should be 3 for service. I will say that everything is fresh so you will be waiting a good 10-15 minutes every time. At least I always have to with the 2 items I order above. (I sometimes come alone). Having that additional sandwich, waiting leans more toward that 15 minutes. This is not a complaint! I'm happy to wait for fresh food every time. I mention it so that you budget your time wisely if you're coming for lunch and have to get back to work! read more
Every single time we go to Winter Park, this is the only place we go to eat. We love it. It never disappoints. The service is great, the food quality is top notch and the prices is very reasonable. My only complaint is I wish Toasted was my neighbor at this rate lol. You can ask for the meat of the burger to be cooked a certain way (I always get medium rare). The truffle fries comes with a huge amount, tasty while being very cheap for what you're paying. If you're ever in winter park, you can't go wrong with eating at Toasted. It's the best. We stopped by Toasted after not being able to decide what to eat for lunch. A grilled cheese never sounds bad... Am I right? It's an order at the counter situation, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though we're not vegan, we appreciated the many options that they have for those that are. After having help from an employee over what to order, we decided to go with the Braised Brisket Grilled Cheese, Barbacoa Melt Grilled Cheese, and the Truffle Fries to share. The food was okay, but we weren't WOWed. The meat and other ingredients in both the grilled cheeses had good flavor, but we thought that the sandwiches were lacking in cheesiness. After all, they are grilled cheese sandwiches. The fries are shoestring fries (kind of like McDonald's) with lots of rosemary. I think I would've preferred the normal fries dipped in some kind of sauce, but they were good... especially if you love the taste of rosemary. Overall, it's not a bad choice for lunch. What is not to like about a place like this? So many good choices of grilled cheese and other items, it is hard to really pick just one thing. I opted for the fig and goat cheese grilled cheese and added a fried egg. What a combo! It was grilled and melted to perfection and while it seems easy to say anyone can make a grilled cheese, it takes a special set of ingredients to do just that. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as well, considering I popped in 10 minutes before they were about to close. Looking forward to returning! read more
Decided to come here for dinner since I was already in the area. Heard many great things about this place and the french fries looked amazing so I had to try it out for myself. I met a friend here and there was no waiting. It was hard to decide what to get but I ended up choosing the Buffalo Bomb with ranch dressing. In my mind I thought it would have buffalo hot sauce on it and my friend got the Sweet Heat. Also ordered a side of truffle fries with rosemary, which was fried just right and a good crunch to it. Food tasted great and very filling. I would like to try the Impossible Burger next. Service could have been a bit better, when we walked in or out they didn't acknowledge us. We stood and look at menu and the servers behind the counter were just standing there and didn't ask if we needed help with the menu. Place was clean. read more
My boyfriend wanted a quick bite, and I told him I know a place that I've always wanted to try! Stopped by Toasted on Aloma. The quick service restaurant is so cute inside! One side of the wall has a cheese pattern which perfectly fits their menu. They have grilled cheeses, salads and burgers. We ordered the BBQ brisket grilled cheese with fries. The person who took our order was so nice, and same w the kitchen staff -- very friendly. The toast was super yummy! It had a golden crisp outside with a gooey, delicious inside. I appreciate the fact that the whole staff were wearing masks, and were constantly cleaning the restaurant and bussing tables. Can't wait to come back and try the Buffalo Chicken! Tried Toasted at their location over off of Aloma, and was highly disappointed. I got the "Southern Comfort" Burger. This was highly disappointing, the bun was like soaking wet but smashed and had the texture of when you try to microwave defrost bread. The patty itself had little flavor, the Mac was good and the BBQ sauce was good. Overall it was meh. The Rosemary truffle fries were a different story, and the only saving grace of my meal. These are great! I will probably go back and try something else, but only because the fries were so good. read more

I had the classic burger with truffle fries, which was absolutely delicious!! The service was amazing the entire staff was friendly and attentive. And I so loved the ambiance, the graters as light fixtures were so cute and unique!! The place was very clean too!! 100 percent recommend!! read more
