I came in for their 4/20 special. Got there around 5:00 p.m. and they had just run out of frisbees when I got served. So if you ever tried to go on the holiday make sure to get there early if you want to get one of them. I ordered the AK-47 and the Apollo 13. The Apollo 13 didn't take a picture of but it was my favorite of the two. I did swap the onion out for cucumber and it was a really nice sandwich. I would definitely come back here just to order that again. Since it was a holiday it was a little busy but the service was friendly. They were doing raffle tickets and I did have to remind the guy at the register to give us tickets after ordering. Inside is really cool. I love how they decorated the place. It definitely goes with the theme. If I'm in the mood for a sandwich I will definitely come back here.

Hands down, one of the best subs I've had in a long time. We first tried Cheba Hut when we lived in Tempe, Arizona, and were always impressed. When I looked to see if there was one near us, I was disappointed to find it was about 45 minutes away--but we made the drive while my daughter had an appointment in Orlando. It was absolutely worth it and did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the service was great, and the facility was clean. They also offered bar service, which was new to me, as the location in Arizona did not. I highly recommend it.

YUMMY subs!!! Probably some of the best in the area. Cool, edgy shop tucked away in a small plaza on colonial. Crazy decor and funny stoner vibes for sure! They have a small selection of treats you won't normally find at a sandwich shop like rice krispies Check them out for a refreshing samich

I used to live in Arizona, where Cheba Hut was a staple for us, so I was so happy to see it migrate to Florida! Even though it's a long drive for us, we often go out of our way because the food is that good. If you're looking for a sub above the rest-- this is it. Plus, the vibe is great-- slightly irreverent and just laid back and enjoyable! The last time we visited, we tried their Doritos nachos and OMG-- mind blown at the deliciousness!

I had the White Widow and Garlic Cheese Bread. It was first time her. I will be back and I will bring friends. The spot has a cool theme. The place is clean and so are the bathrooms. Love the sign outside the door. I was checked on while I had my meal in-house. They have Kool-aid people!!!!! Run, don't walk. Try this place. I'm glad I did. See you again soon.

They take pride in having the best bread and they aren't lying. It's light and fluffy and so flavorful. Enjoy hot or cold subs, multiple size options and so many different flavors. Also, the menu keeps going with a variety of foods and snacks outside of the sub shop theme. Everything is good and solicits a laugh with the play on words. Staff are nice and helpful. Staff are fast but it's a popular shop for in person and online orders so if you are there during peak hours be patient. It's worth it. Establishment is in a small plaza with shared parking. I've always found a parking space every time I've been there

I went with my friends on a Wednesday evening. We arrived almost at 7 and looked at the menu displayed above. I asked the attendant at the counter for a suggestion and he advised the spicy turkey club. I went with that and choose the 8 inch option (about 11.69 dollars). I also decided to have a large cookie (about 3.69) as a dessert. We were given cups for our drinks (I did water only), and we sat in a high table. A couple minutes later, our subs came open faced. My sub looked nice and had an ample amount of fresh veggies, but the turkey and bacon were pretty small. It was still a delicious sub from the fresh veggies and meats, with the garlic bun soft enough to enjoy. I wished the sauces were spicier as I didn't taste any heat from them, not did I taste the jalapenos that were supposed to be included. The chocolate chip cookie was a nice portion and had large chips. Though while soft in the center, it was a bit crumbly and hard on the edges. It was still a good cookie and I loved the chips inside it. With the 8 inch sub and cookie, I found the meal to be satisfying. The service was at the counter, but friendly, quick, and helpful. We didn't have to wait much for our orders to arrive. I will say that the atmosphere is pretty unique and interesting. There are various paintings and stickers displaying, well, let's just say specific topic/item that may make some people uncomfortable. Ironically, the TV was showing cartoons from the Disney Channel. The music seemed to be rap music and the volume was alright in the dining area, but felt like a nightclub in the bathroom cause it was LOUD! There is a small bar as well that offers beer. I will say if you have an open mind and/or ok with cannabis, then you will be fine here. Else, best to order to go and enjoy your food at your place. I will say for the price paid, it is quite expensive. However, the quality is pretty good (much better than Subway and Quiznos at least), and the staff are great. While the atmosphere may not be family friendly, it is still unique and decorative for more open minded people. Parking was pretty easy at the strip mall, and takeout is available as well. It is a nice splurge for good subs near the UCF area.

I received a coupon for a free nug (4-inch) sandwich at a UCF event. I was in the area trying another restaurant so I figured I would stop in. I ordered the Jamaican red/buffalo chicken sandwich. The menu price for this would have been $7, which is insane for a 4-inch small sub. I think I ate it in four bits. The flavor was good but the food is extremely overpriced. They do have happy hour on weeknights 3-6pm, which is neat for a sub shop. Other than some marijuana decals around the store there is nothing toasted about this place. I would only try happy hour if I ever go back. After a bunch of drinks, maybe I would pay their prices for a sandwich, lol.

Kali Mist (Spicy Club)

My cousin recommended getting dinner here for my last night in Orlando. I looked over the menu a few times and I couldn't decide what I wanted as everything sounded delicious. We were doing take-out so I told her to pick for me out of two choices. She ended up picking a 4" Kali Mist. It consisted of roasted turkey breast, bacon, chipotle mayo, jalapeño, avocado, pepper jack, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, Shake & House dressing all on a signature garlic herb bread. Everything was so fresh tasting. All the flavors paired so well together. Being from NY, I'm spoiled when it comes to getting deli sandwiches/subs...but this was so delicious and blows many delis out of the way. I would absolutely order from here next time I'm in the area as there is more I want to try. 5 stars all the way!

Cheba Hut is a sandwich spot that emphasizes on providing sandwiches to satisfy your munchies craving. When you walk in you're greeted to lots of colorful artwork with tons of emphasis on satisfying your cravings from smoking weed. I found the art very fun and focused on their target audience. As for the service, the staff was very helpful in pointing out some of their best sellers as well as some tips for a first timer trying out their sandwiches. I got a turkey sub with jalapenos and avocado. The sub did not disappoint. The jalapenos offered a great punch, the turkey was fresh and all the additional condiments including cheese, a chipotle type of aioli with fresh lettuce and tomatoes tied everything together quite well. The chips to go along completed the meal perfectly. The bottom line, this is a really good quality sub shop and will absolutely satisfy your munchies cravings that you're having. The staff was helpful and friendly and provided everything I needed. If I'm on this side of town I'll for sure be back

Taste: 5/5 Price: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 We love this place and it's our go-to for subs. I've tried a lot of the menu and have never been disappointed. The cannabis theme is fun and there's so much to look at, I feel I notice something different every time we go. Employees have always been super friendly and helpful. Take advantage of $18 bottomless mimosas on Sundays!

After my initial review of Cheba Hut, the manager Carol reached out to me and offered me four vouchers, each valid for a free 4-inch "nug" sub. I decided to give them a fair shake and try a variety of their menu items, given the opportunity. I want to emphasize that these sandwiches were given to me for free--a 4-inch sub and a drink plus tip will run you about $13. The first sub I tried was their Kali Mist, which was recommended to me by the manager. It's a spicy turkey club with bacon, avocado, jalapeños, chipotle mayo, and pepper jack cheese. I gotta say, I liked this a lot more than the White Widow (chicken, bacon, ranch). It was tangy from the chipotle mayo, as well as their house dressing that I missed in the White Widow (it's supposed to come with the WW too, perhaps they forgot to add it that day?) It's also decently spicy from the mayo, peppers, and cheese, which was a nice addition to the sandwich. Toasted subs are often a rich and indulgent affair, so the acid and heat were welcome against the creamy sauce and avocado. I will say that the sandwich was supposed to come with pickles and it did not, so I think the restaurant may have some issues with getting orders right. The next sub I tried was the AK-47, their French dip. Now, I may be mildly allergic to beef, but that will never stop me from a good French dip. And for the price, this one absolutely delivered. Really, really tasty jus that I could just order on its own. Also, maybe this is just cause i'm a freak, but I LOVE the raw red onion. After that, I tried the 5-0, their Italian sub with bacon and giardiniera. This was quite good--difficult to mess up, but with a slightly unconventional approach that works well. The cheddar worked better than I expected. The last sub I tried was their Jamaican Red, which is their buffalo chicken. I thought it tasted alright, although I was put off by the olives (you can order it without them). After my initial disappointment with the White Widow, it was nice to see Cheba Hut deliver a satisfying chicken sub. So, have I changed my opinion on Cheba Hut from my initial visit? I'd say that after sampling some more of their menu offerings that they definitely make a lot of good food that's worth checking out, but do keep in mind that these meals are rather expensive for just a little bit of food. I don't believe that any of the sandwiches I ate are worth the exorbitant price, especially since they were only four-inch subs. If you find yourself in the mood to splurge, I'd recommend getting an 8-inch AK-47 and going to town. It's certainly got one of the best vibes of any restaurant in the area, if you're into a certain "lifestyle."

First timer & WOW. This place is gnarly! I got the La Canna and opted out of onions, tomatoes, and olives since I didn't know if they would be the wrinkly ones that I despise BUT I did add banana peppers into the mix. This thing was absolutely bangin and filled with flavor. Definitely one of the best subs I've ever had, if not the best! The garlic cheese bread was delicious as well & perfectly put together. When I got back home, I was so sad to find that my chocolate krispy bar was missing, oh no! I called back and let them know and made my way back there to retrieve it. The employee definitely expressed sincere apologies, as well as giving me a coupon for a free nug! Super sweet gesture, thanks Paul! Overall, I have 0 complaints even due to a mishap, things happen! The food is awesome, the atmosphere appeals to me , and I will definitely be back again!

We ordered bottomless mimosas and our server was well in-tune with refills and checking in on us. When it came to the food, I ordered the Southern Clucker. I came because I had a rough day and just wanted to have a couple drinks. My already crappy day turned worse due to less than stellar service. Why ask me if I want another drink if you have no plans on giving it to me? One girl was putting in tips and the other was doing dishes. I could've easily walked out without anyone noticing. As I was about to get up Marina came over to apologize (acknowledging she forgot about my drink). I let her know I didn't want it anymore. She apologized again and gave me my check. If you don't want people to come after midnight, close by then. I will say Marina was really nice and apologetic about the entire situation. She even apologized for the wait on the tots. At no point in time did I see a Manager or did one swing by to apologize. Disappointing.
