They just never took their sign down. Plenty of draught selections and we chose a nice hefe. We ordered buffalo/general Tao cauliflower & it was very tasty. The street corn "ribs" were excellent. The bbq chicken flat bread was good too. We had awesome service from Brandon and he came out and had a drink with us after his shift. Very clean, bright atmosphere. Plenty of tvs & touch tunes to boot! We will search it out next trip.

Just not a Philly. They've got a bunch of TVs to watch the game and covered and screened outdoor patio. Although I'm not the target demographic, it's a great place for bar food and a beer. It took a long time to resolve, which caused the game to start much later than advertised. No such issue on my second visit, however. Also improved service between my 2 visits, as most recently a rockstar server, Carol, efficiently met all my party's needs. I was really impressed with her. No server present the first time. You had to go up to the bar to order. Appreciated having the World Cup playing on the big screen during bingo. There are 4 rounds. A packet to play (covering the 4 rounds) costs $10. Additional cards for round 4 can be purchased for $5, resulting in the largest jackpot of the night. I was amazed how packed it was the 1st time. Less so the 2nd. Still decent prizes, none of which I won :( The food is surprisingly tasty for a bowling alley. Prices are very reasonable. Good selection of cocktails on the bar menu. Music Bingo Mondays here are fun regardless of whether you win or lose. Surely I'm due to win soon, though ;)

Turtle Bay holds the description of a dive bar, but it holds that title with sass and pride. There is nothing wrong with a dive bar, a place to sit with friends and drink cheap drinks. This bar, like the mall, has seen better days, but for its patrons it is a part of their lives. I guess they have a problem keeping a bartender, because they have a permanent sign outside the building saying something like "Barmaid Wanted."

One of the garage-style walls/windows has always been fully opened up when I've been there, creating a more expansive feeling and letting in fresh air. Outdoor seating is available. I have yet to win Singo Bingo, but singing along with the songs is satisfying enough for me. The host does tell you the title of each tune, which is helpful. Other events are offered here, as well, like trivia and live music. Sarah is our preferred server. It's a fun place to hang with some friends.

It's a shame they have to work in these unfair conditions. We love Bar Louie Staff. All of the staff go above and beyond for our comfort and care.

The ambiance was your tyical bar setting. When it was Friendly Confines, they had a Chicago sports theme going for it. The Social House had a less sports theme, but it was cool nonetheless. I don't think that I ever had a meal at the Social House, but I ate at Friendly Confines quite often. We would have the French dip and I would often get their wings. I shall miss this and I am curious to see what will come to this location next.

I asked for my check and waited over 20 minutes. The person who I asked for my checked walked by like she had forgotten that I had even asked. When she mentioned oh I'll be right back with your check and the wings! I had to go to the bar to get it because the waiter never brought it over. Now I came here to watch the game. While it was playing on all the TVs, there was no sound. I am not sure if it had anything to do with the large party that was there, but I was disappointed that they did not have any sound playing for the game. It was also huge so she was able to take half home to have the next day. I shared the Greggie (Philly) since I was not too hungry and it was good. The others had the wings and they liked those as well. It did take a while for the food, but since the server communicated that before we ordered we didn't have a concern with it. Very chill vibe and would go again when on that side of town.
