We were a little confused because there was a world of beer sign out front. We were greeted immediately with a warm hello & found a seat at the bar. Brandon explained to us it used to be a WOB. They just never took their sign down. Plenty of draught selections and we chose a nice hefe. We ordered buffalo/general Tao cauliflower & it was very tasty. The street corn "ribs" were excellent. The bbq chicken flat bread was good too. We had awesome service from Brandon and he came out and had a drink with us after his shift. Very clean, bright atmosphere. Plenty of tvs & touch tunes to boot! We will search it out next trip.

The food menu is pretty good. They have a build your own burger and hot damn, it's great. It's right next door to another burger joint and I have to say, Knights is better. I also got the Philly Cheesesteak. Asked the guy if it's authentic (I'm from Philly) and he said well...it is delicious. And you know what? He's right! A really tasty steak sandwich. Just not a Philly. They've got a bunch of TVs to watch the game and covered and screened outdoor patio. Although I'm not the target demographic, it's a great place for bar food and a beer. Check it out.

I will say I didn't really care for the beers I tried on the happy hour menu, though. Just personal preference. Plenty of great options on tap, however. I've been here multiple times and the food is enjoyable. A variety of specialty and seasonal drinks are offered, which changes frequently. One of the garage-style walls/windows has always been fully opened up when I've been there, creating a more expansive feeling and letting in fresh air. Outdoor seating is available. I have yet to win Singo Bingo, but singing along with the songs is satisfying enough for me. The host does tell you the title of each tune, which is helpful. Other events are offered here, as well, like trivia and live music. Sarah is our preferred server. It's a fun place to hang with some friends.

The ambiance was your tyical bar setting. When it was Friendly Confines, they had a Chicago sports theme going for it. The Social House had a less sports theme, but it was cool nonetheless. I don't think that I ever had a meal at the Social House, but I ate at Friendly Confines quite often. We would have the French dip and I would often get their wings. I shall miss this and I am curious to see what will come to this location next.

We looked at the food menu to check if we wanted an appetizer but it's just a few options of pub food, so we opted out. We were there after 8pm so we got the late hour deal, which was awesome. We were drinking their vodka lemonades which were priced super fair and made really well, so no complaints on the drinks..it isn't a fancy cocktail bar so don't expect anything super nice but they do have some great options on their menu. The service was great the whole time, bartenders were quick to serve us and make drinks. We wanted to play some darts but there were some dudes that came over and yelled at my husband/cousin for taking their dart machine? It was weird. They eventually let them play with them but there were two dart machines and apparently the two dudes owned both. So not sure what that was about. Definitely killed our vibe a little. Great spot if you're waiting on another spot in the area, but I get the hint this is a lot of locals who think they own the spot, so I'm not sure I would spend a lot of time here.

There appeared to be two people checking on the people who were in the front of the house. You can sit wherever you like and eventually someone will come in and take your order. The person who waited on us did not normally work on Monday nights. She was very pleasant. I thought it took a little longer to get my food. Luckily the game was going to start soon so it took my mind off of having to wait so long. I ordered the smash burger and fries. The fries were crispy and hot. The smash burger was sub par. Burger, cheese, bun. Absolutely zero seasoning. Toppings were extra so I just got it with cheddar cheese. Flavor wise it was definitely lacking. The wings were crispy and the teriyaki sauce was good. I asked for my check and waited over 20 minutes. The person who I asked for my checked walked by like she had forgotten that I had even asked. When she mentioned oh I'll be right back with your check and the wings! I had to go to the bar to get it because the waiter never brought it over. Now I came here to watch the game. While it was playing on all the TVs, there was no sound. I am not sure if it had anything to do with the large party that was there, but I was disappointed that they did not have any sound playing for the game. Hopefully this was an off night, was hoping for a better experience for a bar that is supposed to be an Eagles bar.

They had great decor and the game was on TV all around the bar. It was perfect for us. They were SUPER busy and could tell they were short staffed. The servers were all very friendly and said it would be just a bit for food to come out. No problem since we could watch the game while we waited. We ordered some pretzel bites for an appetizer and that came out pretty quick to give us something to snack on as well. My oldest did the shrimp burrito and she really loved it. It was also huge so she was able to take half home to have the next day. I shared the Greggie (Philly) since I was not too hungry and it was good. The others had the wings and they liked those as well. It did take a while for the food, but since the server communicated that before we ordered we didn't have a concern with it. Very chill vibe and would go again when on that side of town.
