The first time I ever went to a Just Salad was for a Yelp Elite thing at the Winter Park location. I feel like there are more and more of these locations popping up and I'm excited for them because it's so good! This time around I went to the Waterford Lakes location. I love that there is ample seating here and the wall art is beautiful. The menu has expanded quite a bit! Me and my friend ordered two different bowls. Mine was the sweet heat bowl with chicken and it was actually the perfect amount sweet and heat! Everyone working was very friendly, especially when my friend went to grab the trays after we paid and the bowls slipped right off and fell on the ground completely. We felt soooooo bad but they cleaned it up and redid the bowls which I wasn't expecting but was forever grateful that they did. My only comment is if there is a way to get bowls that don't easily slip and slide on the tray, that would be great. We sat and ate and hung out there for a while. Even though we were the only ones that had a bowl slip and mess, we noticed we weren't the only people commenting on how slippery the trays/bowls (not sure which) are. Eh I don't know if I just ordered the wrong salad but I was very underwhelmed specially in comparison to all the competing fancy salad restaurants I've been to! I ordered one of the most popular "balsamic chicken avocado" on door dash and it was very basic! I had about 3 tiny bites of avocado, it was all romaine lettuce with lots of the butt pieces. The balsamic vinaigrette was more on the creamy side than the oily side, not my favorite. And the tiny piece of bread was about pinky size and black in color b/c it was burned. The bag also did not include any utensils so that was inconvenient. If you need some make sure to add a note on online delivery services. read more

As my grandfather used to say... "you don't win friends with salad!" We even sung a song about it. Or maybe that was a Simpson's episode... Who can remember after 30+ years of that nonsense. But I do know one thing, my grandfather would totally not pay that much for a salad, even though it's good. This fast casual place follows the model of many other bowl/salad places with a few pre-made options as well as the Johnny Cash method... Walk the Line. They have other options beyond salad (like rice and lentils) and I think they do wraps, so it's not Just Salad. They do get pretty creative with some of their pre-made options and I've enjoyed them. The Dirt Candy Salad sounds bad, but it was pretty good. And their chopped salad was tasty, but not really chopped. I placed a to-go order from Just Salad and it was ready for me when I got there. I did a Make Your Own Bowl with rice, arugula, broccoli, street corn, avocado, braised chicken, and the lemon basil vinaigrette (homemade!). The first thing I noticed was just how much chicken they gave me, which was very appreciated! It was also nice and juicy. Everything else was delicious as well, but I wish they gave me a bigger bowl as it was nearly impossible to mix with the small one I got. I work down the road and often order from this location. 7 different times and Never have they had my order ready as I often order ahead because I need to get back to work. I ate at the New just salad across from Fashion Square, Mall today for the first time they were having a grand opening special. A young counter helper by the name of Chris assisted me made a couple of recommendations. I chose a poblano salad. He prepared it for me perfectly told me about the proteins about the dressing I bought it. I loved it. He stopped by my table to ask me if I enjoyed my salad on his way out the door at the end of his shift and recommended that I buy a bowl to go bowl and then come back on the weekend and I can get a refill on the bowl or make a bowl for five dollars for the grand opening continuing and then I could use that bowl to come back in the future to get a free typing on any of my salads but I highly recommend this place and I really liked Chris. I feel like the portions did get a little smaller since opening but that could be because the bowls changed so I'm not really sure. I really like their chicken, thighs and rice. Just Salad is located in the Waterford Lakes Town Center and is over by the Starbucks (a few doors away from it). Walking in, it is an inviting atmosphere and vibe. It is bright and cheerful and the outgoing nature of the staff also only enhances the experience. They have a good selection and I ended up going with a salad (the word "salad" is after all in the business name) and found it to be a pretty good salad overall and a healthy alternative to lunch at say a fast food burger chain (and definitely more enjoyable). Just Salad started in 2006 in New York City and has since spread to something like eighty locations in multiple states. It is good to see Just Salad get to down here in sun drenched Florida. Overall, I would definitely recommend a visit to this particular Just Salad location. Being in Waterford Lakes Town Center, parking is not really an issue, the service is friendly, the atmosphere fun, bright and upbeat and finally (and most importantly), the food is healthy and delicious. read more

I ordered the Cilantro Lime Chicken bowl which was so delicious with a mix of kale and regenerative brown rice, braised chicken thigh, and a yummy cilantro lime vinaigrette. The corn and pickled onions added much depth to the flavors in this dish. My girl friend had the Chicken Caesar Salad it was so plentiful and also super crisp romaine. Lately it has been hard to find salad spots with clean greens that don't have that chemical taste. These greens were so fresh and tasted so clean! I love that you can choose between light, medium, and heavy sauce for the salad to be hand-tossed in. If I could give Zero stars I would. EVERY time I go there or order, the staff is crabby, one time they scrapped of cauliflower from my salad over the TRASH when they were going to uncharge and I did not know; I ordered a plate and they give tablespoon size portions and charge over 15.00! I have seen managers yelling at staff before in the eating area; they are crabby, unkind, hasty, overcharge, and do not offer what they advertise. Made it out to Waterford Lakes to visit with a friend who suggested trying the new addition - Just Salad. We came in on Sunday at lunch time. The restaurant is very spacious with lots of room to sit and I really liked the "Waterford Lakes" artwork in the wall. We got in line and I decided upon the Honey Crispy Chicken wrap. The wrap was wrapped really well. However at the register they just handed me the wrap with no tray even though I ordered in and also had a drink. It was a bit confusing on leaving the register. My wrap was very flavorful and had a nice crunch. I enjoyed the combination of flavors and the quinoa in it. My friend ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap and she also enjoyed hers. She got a "Poppi" Probiotic soda that she had never tried before but enjoyed. I would suggest the workers at the bar maybe ask if you've been here before and if not then provide a little bit of an explanation or guidance. read more

I very much like going here for salads. However, the prices are a little high so while delicious, it's not an every day visit for me. I like that you have the option to make any salad into a wrap and you can customize what you like. The only con is that I often order to go and half the time there's something minor wrong (missing silverware or dressing on top instead the side) that sort of thing. There's a new salad place in town! And it's amazing! They haven't gotten their drink dispensers at this location yet, but the food is top tier. It's a fresh, healthy, and quick way to grab a bite for under $15. I tried the chicken goat cheese bowl and fell in love with their creamy balsamic dressing. I didn't even have to hesitate ordering it since Just Salad keeps recipes and allergy info on their website for everything. The staff are really doing a great job so far, though it's hard to hear them through the thick barrier. Going forward, I'm planning on ordering online ahead of time before eating in the restaurant.
