Pick 2 - broccoli cheddar soup & chicken Caesar salad
    Melissa J.

After visiting the Oviedo location last week I wanted to give this location a shot as it's closer. The online ordering process was easy. My order was ready on time and correct. The pickup process was easy. The restaurant was clean. I didn't have any interaction with staff so I can't yet speak to the service but it was a good experience.

First time I tried this place was catering for a work function. Presentation was great everything wrapped up and labeled. Looked only for the contents and was super intrigued! Loved the dressing, and the avocado and edamame really worked well would totally try more items on the menu!

I was impressed by the healthy and sustainable choices. I chose the warm chicken with goat cheese and it was delicious! The mushrooms, sweet potatoes and arugula added to the deliciousness. I had them use the cilantro lime dressing light and loved it!

The place is very clean and quiet inside. The ingredients are on display so you can see how fresh everything looks. The salad I ordered looked a little small when I got it but it was a perfect portion for me as I didn't feel hungry or too full when I finished it. It was amazing- super flavorful, chicken was juicy and the balsamic vinaigrette matched perfectly with the goat cheese and hot honey. A little pricey but so worth it for a good quality lunch.

I've only been to one Just Salad location located in Gainesville, Florida and I was obsessed. I love the different sizes of the bowls as well as the premade salads, and the fact that you can make your own salad. The prices are reasonable, and all of the ingredients are extremely fresh. They have some of the best arugula and red cabbage lettuce that I've ever had in my life. Make sure you try the quinoa as well. I don't know where they get it from, but it's seasoned and it tastes absolutely amazing!

Fresh, tasty, and plentiful flavorful ingredients abound here, and I enjoy them. In practice, Just Salad is much like other fast casual places that you walk alongside plexiglass and choose your ingredients. Or, you can choose a preset bowl or wrap of a base, sides, and protein. The space is bright and clean. Beverages are available - kombucha, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks. Real porcelain bowls are used if dining in-house. Two napkins and a plastic fork are also provided. The first time my wife and I chose JS for a meal, the whole experience was very good. This most recent visit, however, was a 180 difference apart from the lovely food. Since we chose to build our own bowl, we needed to communicate our selections and it was challenging. Additionally, we were overcharged as we later found out on the digital receipt. My conversation with one of the employees after I was finished eating helped me to better understand the pricing structure of the ingredients, but I still found it a bit confusing. Maybe I've visited C*V* down the road too many times and am used to straight-forward pricing. 5 - great food 4 - clean atmosphere 2 - cost and lack of clear pricing for build your own bowl

My Absolute Favorite place (so far) to get a chicken Caesar wrap. I appreciate how fast the wraps are made, and the fact that I can customize. I like to add roasted corn and feta to my wrap, to add even more flavor to this. It's definitely not cheap, but one of my top healthy "quick and easy" options

10/10 for my salad. I was fully satisfied with my meal and the overall experience. I got the vegan edamame salad at it was utterly delicious. The tofu was cooked to perfection. You can also build your own salad, bowl and the toppings look delicious. The people at the front were so nice and I would totally come again.

This is my second visit. My first was part of a yelp elite pass. I received the same service, quality and portions as my original visit. I have a membership to the dry bar next door for bi-weekly services and plan to visit Just Salad at minimum twice a month. The braised chicken thigh is so delicious. I've had it in the harvest salad as well as the Cesar so far. I plan to sample them all. Parking is around back and the earlier the better. Weekends are hard for the parking but it's worth it. Very filling and lots of variety. The restaurant is clean and quiet. Great place to read while relaxing with a healthy bite to eat.

This is my go-to place for a comfort chicken Caesar Salad! Mine has two variations though - vegan feta cheese, and balsamic vinaigrette for dressing (medium pour) - always ask for a slice of bread and lemon, too! The salad is always made perfectly and with care. Service is quick and friendly, regardless of crowd - haven't had a bad experience yet. You can see all of the options while ordering, and watch them make your salad. Plenty of seating available inside and outside. Be sure to try one of their cookies if you are looking for a sweet ending to your meal!

Warm chicken and goat cheese salad $12 with wonton crunchies added + $0.69

We were looking forward to coming back to Just Salad after trying it out during a Yelp event earlier this year. I decided to order the same meal as before, the Warm Chicken and Goat Cheese Salad ($12) because it was so darn good. Too bad the young man who prepared my salad and checked me out last time wasn't here again because he was amazing and really hooked me up. This time around the young lady working wasn't really friendly and was more frugal with the ingredients especially the chicken and mushrooms. The other issue was the chicken wasn't warm or juicy at all. Don't get me wrong the salad was still delicious but lacking compared to my previous experience. Nancy picked out a special salad for the month and she was happy with her salad but she said the bread that was served with the salad was room temp and dried out. Our two salads cost about $30 with tax and tip. It's a bit pricey for two salads especially if you want to add on any extra toppings like the crunchy wontons, which were about .70 cents more. I would return in the future but it's hard to say I'm rushing back after my experience today.

    Nancy W.

We came here for a second time the first time we came for a Yelp event so I was looking forward to coming back and having more salad. Second experience was a little lackluster. I had a specialty salad with chicken and several other toppings it was actually pretty good. She gave me several dressings to choose from. But the bread that came with it was dried out and I did not eat it. My husband ordered the Warm chicken and goat cheese salad. The last time you got it it was phenomenal. This time not so much. The chicken was dried out and not juicy and he didn't get a large amount of toppings like last time. The two salads came to $30 with a tip and we did not get a drink. Not sure We will be back this is a little bit out of the way for us. But may try it one more time.

They have only four carb bases and four veggie bases to choose from so it's really hard to be indecisive about what you want. There are pre selected menu options or you can just make your own salad as I chose today. My mix; brown rice, spinach, cucumbers, carrots, pickled onion, and purple cabbage with blacked chicken, thai and jalapeño dressing with wonton crisps. You can also see my drink they have what's basically "Aguas Frescas" options. I got the pomegranate lemon mixed with rishi black tea. But if you don't like tart and sour like me they had two other options on the sweeter side. Perks: Drinks are self serve, you can sample the dressings, and there's no cheat menu options that make you feel guilty for trying to be healthy. Con: The only con is that like any salad place it isn't a load of chicken but it is a still a good amount of protein. If you're looking for cheap protein stick to Chipotle.

I would definitely comeback for that dish. I ordered the chicken tata which is basically a Greek chicken parm. Pasta came out with red sauce (which I don't fancy) but I can't blame the waitress because I didn't ask. That's on me. I made a reservation for a Saturday evening on Resy in advance. Since valet parking is free, I took advantage of it and headed straight to check in. I was greeted immediately and sent to the table where I could watch the open kitchen. I was told most of the drinks were strong, so I tried the mezcal drink (14 dollars). I forgot the name, but it was smoky, herbal, and lightly boozy. It was such a nice sipping drink. I was very happy that my server was very honest in mentioning the salmon was farmed raised, so I decided to go with the airline chicken instead (26 dollars). Before I was given my chicken, the chef near my table gave me a complimentary hors D'oeuvre. It looked to be a small wonton bowls filled with ahi tuna with some guac topping I think. Whatever it was, I was in heaven. It was fresh and flavorful, making my taste buds happy. When the chicken arrived, it came mostly deboned. It was tender enough, but could have been a little more juicy. It could been a bit more seasoned as well since I tasted mostly chicken without any other flavors. The vegetables, however, were far better as the potatoes were roasted and seasoned perfectly. I thought there would be mostly grilled vegetables, but the potatoes overtook them. The other vegetables were still amazing. I wish there was more of the green salsa, but it was thin. It did, however, added the kick and flavor to the chicken. It was still a very enjoyable entree. For dessert, they handed a separate menu, and I had to do the creme brulee (11 dollars). It was quite generous, but still light enough to finish. The crust was crispy without being too powerful, and the vanilla specks just made the flavor perfect. The service was excellent and professional. When it was time to pay, I showed the email to my server, who got the manager to verify. The manager immediately checked and gave me the twenty dollars off, making the total price before tips about 33 dollars after tax. It was a great deal. Both the manager and server checked up with me on the dinner and were very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, but t-shirt and jeans are still welcome here. I love the open kitchen, and you are welcome to talk to the chefs. I am so happy I visited Luke's again after a long time. I loved their sister restaurant, Lumas, and was sad they closed a while back ago. While Luke's can be a bit pricey, they still have some items at reasonable prices (like the chicken, burgers, and sandwiches). Plus, if you sign up for their email, you can get promotions as well. I noticed they offered a Boxed Lunch combo that included a half-brick focaccia sandwich, a choice of side, chips, and a cookie. Under the Soups & Sides section of the menu, I saw soups, salads, fruit, chips, and bread listed, so I asked if I could get the Kale Caesar Salad as my side. I was told it wasn't considered a side. That struck me as a little odd since it was listed under "Soups & Sides," but I didn't press the issue and instead ordered the sandwich and salad separately. I do wish there had been a sandwich-and-salad combo option, especially since it's Florida and 100 degrees outside--hot soup wasn't exactly calling my name that day! The Ghost Pepper Chicken sandwich was a bit dry, and I didn't notice much Swiss cheese or enough ghost pepper bang sauce to add much heat or moisture. On the plus side, the focaccia bread was fantastic, and the sandwich was piled high with sliced chicken. Even the half-brick size was plenty filling. The Kale Caesar Salad was much smaller than expected and, ironically, seemed like it would have fit perfectly as a combo side. It also contained more romaine than kale, with just a sprinkling of baby kale on top. The Caesar dressing, however, was excellent--rich, creamy, and full of flavor. At $6 for a small bowl, I was hoping for a little more substance. I also treated myself to the Belgian Chocolate Salted Caramel Cookie that would have come with the Boxed Lunch combo, and it was outstanding. Soft, gooey, and packed with flavor. Bricks & Bowls has a pleasant outdoor seating area in a courtyard setting, with tables shaded by large umbrellas. Just keep in mind that there is no indoor seating, and even with the shade, it can be pretty warm during a Florida summer. Overall, it was a decent first experience with some highlights and a few disappointments. The food had some strong points, particularly the focaccia bread, dressing, and cookie, but at around $20 for a quick-service lunch, I left feeling that the value didn't quite match the price.
