For a "chop cheese" this sandwich was pretty cheeseless. The cheese is supposed to be integrated and cooked in with the meat. However the meat was very dry and I didn't taste cheese in the sandwhich. I also got the Cajun flavor and again, didn't taste anything Cajun or spice. The sandwich was also $16 so extremely over priced. They didn't have many sauce options and all you had to pay for. I ended up getting the mayo ketchup mix which was $2. Again, over priced. The added sweet potato fries was only $2 so that was nice and almost made up for the crazy priced sauce. The wait for our food was also very long. I waited 45 min. and others in my group almost an hour. We were there for a World Cup so there was a lot of people so I'd give more grace on the long wait. But the food overall was just not good. People in my group got the empanadas and those were very dry too and they didn't finish them. read more

This was my first experience at A La Cart and trying Brick and Butter. The ambiance was nice. It's colorful and plenty of seating. I was excited to try Brick and Butter. The descriptions and pictures of the sandwiches looked delectable. The man serving us wasn't rude. He just wasn't personable. You order from the iPad and wait for your food to be ready. He said they didn't have any ketchup and I had a side order of curly fries that I wanted to eat the ketchup with. He said that there were sauces that we could get. Each of those sauces costs $2.00. I didn't want to pay that after I just paid for this meal. I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich and fries were really good. The chicken was tender. I enjoyed it, until I didn't. Unfortunately, the food left me feeling extremely sick. This is why I rated 1 star. read more

Tried out this food truck at À La Cart Orlando downtown for the first time and I'm glad I did. They've got a some great options, but I went with the Philly cheesesteak. The flavor and seasoning was on point. I do wish it had more cheese, but overall it was still a solid Philly. Definitely coming back. read more

I've tried two separate items from the menu, the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich w/fries and the Chicken Caesar Sandwich w/Kale Salad on a French baguette. The baguette was extremely tough and for the second time the fried chicken breast tastes like it sits in grease for an extended period of time. The kale salad has a lot of potential, it has a kick to it, although it has more cabbage than kale. It was drenched in dressing and by the time I got home (15 min later) I could not enjoy it. If I order it again, I'll ask for dressing on the side. I think I'll give this place one more try. read more

We came here while at A La Carte and my husband got the Cuban. The wait is long, and could be expedited. He did not really enjoy the sandwich and said he's had better. The ambiance at A La Carte is typically comfortable, noisy and warm but had nothing to do with Brick & Butter. I prefer their BnB parm. read more

I ordered the cheesesteak forge for my husband, the chicken pesto on focaccia bread for myself, and the kids Mac and cheese. This was a to-go order, and it was made pretty quickly! Everything we had was so flavorful. Honestly the best sandwiches I've had since moving to Florida! The kids loved the Mac and cheese! There are no pics since we ate every bite! Lol. This is definitely a great food truck to go to! As they are currently in thier soft opening stage, some items were not available. Yet their crispy chicken sandwhich is too good! Perfectly cooked to a crunchy breaded layer and juicy chicken. The chicken portion was actually bigger than I expected. The slaw and sauce ties together very well. I also had their sweet potato fries and I never had any that was truly seasoned like that! I will definitely comeback as I really want to try their mac cheesesteak! read more

My husband came for Yelp Elite Week, but myself, along with my sister and her boyfriend, tagged along to order food and try out what looks like an extremely impressive menu. The area that the food truck is in is so nice! Love that there are seating options both in and out of the sun outside, and inside by the drink area, you could sit entirely covered as well, still having a nice view of the food truck park. You order at an online kiosk kind of similar to an iPad, and it's a pretty easy process to get everything added and paid for! I loved that you could sign up for texts when your food was ready, so you could sit or walk around while you're waiting. The three of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and it comes on this beautiful focaccia bread, with a great pesto and sauce. The sandwich is pretty big, I almost wish we'd split 2 between the 3 of us instead of one for each! They were already sold out of a decent amount of their menu items, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying new options. Brick & Butter deliver lunch day delights! Ok look, July days in Orlando can be hot hot hot , but with some shade, a cool beverage, nice vibes, and the juicy delicious cheesesteak from Brick & Butter, we were doing well! Brick & Butter have a diverse menu for such a food truck with high quality items that keep me wanting to come back. They have a nice touch screen to order from and the staff is available to answer questions. I will admit that some of the items can be pricey, however it's not without its quality. I'll be back to try the Friday cheesesteak special that includes truffles! Quick shout out to A la Carte for such a nice venue in the hourglass district! The main downside was that the chicken's coating didn't stick well and separated while eating, which took away from an otherwise good sandwich. Ordering through the kiosk was quick and easy, and there was only brief interaction with staff. The wait was a bit longer, but it made sense given the made‑to‑order approach. The location has a unique, enjoyable vibe with plenty of seating. Parking could get tight during busy times, but visiting on a Sunday around noon, there were still a few open spots. I checked out this food truck not too long ago and it did not disappoint. I ordered the b&b chicken parm sandwich with sweet potato fries and it came out super hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm was perfectly crispy and had a good cheese pull haha! The focaccia was also very tasty and pillowy. After speaking with the owner, I could tell he truly cared about every element on the menu. They bake all their bread and prepare their ingredients every morning, ensuring freshness as a top priority. They also put a lot of care into crafting their menu as well. I love to see people be passionate about what they're serving to the community. When I'm back around this part of town, I will for sure stop by at brick and butter! read more

I didn't even get the chance to order since this truck uses a screen to place orders. I was waiting with another person for any assistance but the woman in the truck did not even look at us the entire time. once we asked for help, she seemed bothered and barely said a word. i went ahead and chose another food truck to try. i don't see myself trying this truck at any point. Asked for no ketchup on the sub and didn't come with any mayo, didn't provide any clarification if it was a blend or not. Steak was overcooked, no cheese sauce whatsoever, was so dry it was unbelievable. Asked for a side of ketchup with the curly fries, said they don't have any? The area is a very cool outdoor food truck vibe with plenty of options but tonight we choose Brick & Butter artisan sandwiches. What a flavor explosion in my mouth with the juice of the meat and the cheese dripping down my hand I wanted to scoop it up with a fry like no one was watching. Delicious!! We had the chicken parm (vodka sauce was amazing I could drink it)and the tripletta which was favor overload! The garlic bread was sooo fresh with real garlic! Very friendly staff. Can't wait to make this my new fav food truck at A La Carte. Forgot to take pictures because we devoured everything. Ambiance: 3.5 Stars The place was clean and has plentiful seating. Ranging from bar style or bench and tables. It is Deli style when ordering. Go to the back and select the type of salads, rice / couscous, soups, or sandwiches. There are pre-fixed options or you can build your own bowl. The eatery was clean, open and airy. Natural lighting was pleasant with the large front windows. It would have been a higher star rating for the ambiance, but the bathrooms needed some work. Our server assisted us with questions and our selections. Santa Fe Salad - 3.5 Stars avocado, corn, local jack & cheddar, grape tomatoes, onions, tortilla chips, local kale, romaine, perfectly paired with chipotle-lime vinaigrette with a fresh lime squeeze. My sister added chicken thigh and avocado Chimichurri dressing. She said it was tasty. 4. South Beach - 3 Stars craisins, walnuts, green apples, blue cheese, local mesclun, romaine, perfectly paired with balsamic vinaigrette. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a fantastic meal from Brick & Butter, featuring their Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries. The menu ordering was incredibly easy, done via a self-service kiosk that made the ordering process smooth and convenient. The chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining tender and juicy on the inside. The focaccia bread was soft yet nicely toasted. Every bite was packed with flavor from the pesto and marinara pairing wonderfully with the crispy chicken. As for the sweet potato fries, they were an absolute treat--crispy on the outside with just the right amount of sweetness, fried to perfection. The customer service was excellent throughout. I tried the Philly cheesesteak from the Brick & Butter food trucks, and it was absolutely delicious, packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I was a little sad but still determined to try these burritos that I had found on social media. When I got to the location, my partner stayed in the parking lot outside to avoid paying for parking. The café was located in the PNC building right on the left side as soon as you walk in. The location was so clean and so gorgeous! Just a very refreshing café that had this gorgeous modern touch to it. The service was great! The café attendant Ben was very nice and I was excited to find out that he also thought the burritos was a favorite on the menu. When I got it it was burning hot in the bag which is so exciting since I was taking it to go. I had the Fruitloop Matcha, which was the special. It was so yummy and not overwhelmingly sweet. I also got the "cruffin" which was like a churro, dulce de leche muffin. I definitely look forward to coming back to trying something else on the menu.

I got the Rice bowl with chicken and the soy glaze and I enjoyed all the veggies- wish there was more protein but I'm obsessed with chicken. My friend got the Cobb salad and she enjoyed the face that it came with a lot of refreshing toppings, the homemade mustard vinagrette dressing was the perfect amount and she got half of an avocado, Will be back!

I appreciate how you can see everything being made fresh. I ordered the Gaucho Sandwich, which had steak with chimichurri, onions and cheese on focaccia bread. It was phenomenal! The steak was soft, and the focaccia bread was thin enough that the sandwich didn't feel overwhelming. I loved how crunchy the side of chips was too. The service was on point and very friendly. Our only complaint was the tables were super dirty. I mean all of them. We like booths so we went straight to them and all had food all over. At opening? Every booth filthy? I mentioned it to the guy coming around to wipe them and didn't seem too concerned. Even after he wiped the tabletops he was not touching the seating with old food clearly left there. Not impressed the cleanliness of the dining area. Honestly disgusting. It's a shame because the food and service were 5 stars. Dining area at opening? 0 stars. Level of concern from employee was zero. Perhaps we'll be back for take out or something but old food all over the tables at opening is not acceptable. Only deducting 2 stars because food and service was on point despite the dirty dining area.
