Chicken Parm Sandwich with Curly Fries

The chicken parmesan sandwich was hot, fresh, and clearly made to order, with a large portion size and curly fries on the side. The main downside was that the chicken's coating didn't stick well and separated while eating, which took away from an otherwise good sandwich. Ordering through the kiosk was quick and easy, and there was only brief interaction with staff. The wait was a bit longer, but it made sense given the made‑to‑order approach. The location has a unique, enjoyable vibe with plenty of seating. Parking could get tight during busy times, but visiting on a Sunday around noon, there were still a few open spots. There is also a water refill station on premise which was much appreciated!

We came here while at A La Carte and my husband got the Cuban. The wait is long, and could be expedited. He did not really enjoy the sandwich and said he's had better. The ambiance at A La Carte is typically comfortable, noisy and warm but had nothing to do with Brick & Butter. I prefer their BnB parm.

B&B Chicken Parm is a must try!! It tasted as it sounded, very delicious. Great balance of all flavors&sauces. It wasn't a long wait and most importantly FRESH!!! It was also a vibe outside under the pavilion (shaded area) with chill music playing and the wind blowing. A relaxing atmosphere for family or friends.

We went down to A La Cart for us to sign the mural inside but saw reviews online about Brick & Butter. The Mac & cheese bites were perfectly coated with cheese and fried. The butcher was tender and delicious. Super happy with the replacement!

I ordered the cheesesteak forge for my husband, the chicken pesto on focaccia bread for myself, and the kids Mac and cheese. This was a to-go order, and it was made pretty quickly! Everything we had was so flavorful. Honestly the best sandwiches I've had since moving to Florida! The kids loved the Mac and cheese! There are no pics since we ate every bite! Lol. We will definitely be back! Love the ambiance of A La Cart SoDo!

This is definitely a great food truck to go to! As they are currently in thier soft opening stage, some items were not available. Yet their crispy chicken sandwhich is too good! Perfectly cooked to a crunchy breaded layer and juicy chicken. The chicken portion was actually bigger than I expected. The slaw and sauce ties together very well. I also had their sweet potato fries and I never had any that was truly seasoned like that! I will definitely comeback as I really want to try their mac cheesesteak!

Flavor: rich and goood. bread and fries were on-point. the mixture of meat and stuff inside the sandwhich was really good. Service: counter-service truck; friendly! Location & Parking: inside A La Cart SODO food truck area. Kinda hard to find parking in the area if the parking lot is full (and it most likely will be on weekends) Price: ~$22 for a sandwhich is pricey, but its big and really tasty. Is it whats up? yep, would go again if in the area.

My husband came for Yelp Elite Week, but myself, along with my sister and her boyfriend, tagged along to order food and try out what looks like an extremely impressive menu. The area that the food truck is in is so nice! Love that there are seating options both in and out of the sun outside, and inside by the drink area, you could sit entirely covered as well, still having a nice view of the food truck park. You order at an online kiosk kind of similar to an iPad, and it's a pretty easy process to get everything added and paid for! I loved that you could sign up for texts when your food was ready, so you could sit or walk around while you're waiting. The three of us ordered the Chicken Parmesan sandwich, and it comes on this beautiful focaccia bread, with a great pesto and sauce. The sandwich is pretty big, I almost wish we'd split 2 between the 3 of us instead of one for each! They were already sold out of a decent amount of their menu items, so I'm looking forward to coming back and trying new options. I did have a bite of my husband's regular Philly Cheesesteak, and that was to DIE for!!!

Bread was perfectly airy and a little crispy, the fried egg was perfect, great cheese pull and tons of bacon.

I went to try the new breakfast and did not disappoint! The breakfast sandwich with rosemary focaccia, fried egg, cheese and lots of bacon was amazing! The textures were perfect and everything was cooked perfectly! And the potato's were also spot and on! It's a lot of food too! Service was quick and easy and I love the laid back atmosphere of A La Carte!

I checked out this food truck not too long ago and it did not disappoint. I ordered the b&b chicken parm sandwich with sweet potato fries and it came out super hot and ready to eat. The chicken parm was perfectly crispy and had a good cheese pull haha! The focaccia was also very tasty and pillowy. After speaking with the owner, I could tell he truly cared about every element on the menu. They bake all their bread and prepare their ingredients every morning, ensuring freshness as a top priority. They also put a lot of care into crafting their menu as well. I love to see people be passionate about what they're serving to the community. When I'm back around this part of town, I will for sure stop by at brick and butter!

So good...

They have THE best Philly Cheesesteak in Orlando. The flavor is just YUM. You gotta check 'em out!

Cristina A.

The ambiance was very laid back. Great place for kids. The food was made fresh. The check was easy to navigate.

"La Tripleta"

Asked for no ketchup on the sub and didn't come with any mayo, didn't provide any clarification if it was a blend or not. Steak was overcooked, no cheese sauce whatsoever, was so dry it was unbelievable. Asked for a side of ketchup with the curly fries, said they don't have any? Lady was also pretty rude when she wasn't eating and could talk. Overall just disappointing for the "best cheesesteak in Orlando". Wife's chicken sandwich was good though.

Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

The interior kinda has a hipster-rustic vibe but with more comfortable chairs. Prices seemed reasonable. Service seemed a bit overwheled but again, I think the massive event letting out had something to do with that. I got a cheese board, truffled fries, fried chicken caviar, and a deviled affogato for dessert. My date for the creste di gallo and the olive oil citrus cake. Everything was was very good, with the standout being the fries; I know that truffle essence flavor isn't for everyone but it worked really well for me in the fry sauce. My dates pasta was also very good, the pesto sauce was zesty and complimented it well. And I really like the olive oil cake with mascarpone, super light and perfectly sweet. The very minor issues were that the fried chicken was pretty deeply fried and way harder than expected, which I don't mind but may not be your thing. Devil's food cake at the bottom of the affogato was also not as sweet as I would have liked. Overall a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend.

My only gripes -- it can get VERY loud... like, too loud. Especially if you're with your Grandma and trying to have a conversation. Also, it can be a bit pricy and the items add up. Don't order an espresso martini with reposado because it'll cost about $35. The servers are always on point and I feel are knowledgeable about the menu and the drinks. Thankfully, one of them warned me about the espresso martini cost so I dodged that bullet. I love the wine options and there's so many amazing ones to try. Same for the menu, lots of variety and you really can't go wrong.

This is one of the most friendly and welcoming businesses in central Florida, and I absolutely adore them for it. This place is counter order with full table service. I believe before the pandemic that you self served drinks, but the full service change has definitely been for the better. They've got a rotating list of specials that you can see on their instagram too. This place always delivers quality food. Their fried chicken is excellent, I've never seen an overcooked egg, their grits are amazing, their gravies are perfect, their biscuits are to die for, and their Mac n cheese is creamy delicious goodness. I haven't tried their lunch menu myself because I can't bring myself to not order breakfast. Between the Minnie pearl, three little pigs, seventh trimester, their specials, and even their sausage sandwich, nothing on a lunch menu could ever tempt me away. And don't even get me started on their bakery! Their bakery is a separate counter with cakes, cookies, handpies, brownies, and whoopie pies. Their selection is rotating and I've genuinely never been disappointed. Usually I have to take their stuff to go because I'm so full from breakfast, and it's usually pretty rich. This place is an Orlando staple and I hope they're open and successful for as long as they wish to be. I know I'll be back as long as they're still cooking.

The happy hour specials are definitely worth taking advantage of. For food, we tried the buffalo cauliflower, truffle fries, and the Wagyu beef taco. Everything was very good. The taco is more of a creative twist--it's essentially a hamburger-style patty served in a taco shell, topped with pickles, lettuce, and aïoli. The buffalo cauliflower was nicely prepared with a drizzle of aïoli, and the truffle fries came with a flavorful dipping sauce. Drink specials were also appealing, with select canned beers priced at $6 and house wines at $9. One thing to note is that an automatic 18% gratuity is added to all checks, which the restaurant explains helps support staff during the off-season. The ambiance stood out--upscale, clean, and fresh, with a relaxed open-air vibe. It wasn't overly busy on a Wednesday around 4 PM, which made for a very enjoyable and comfortable experience. Overall, a great spot with a lively yet laid-back atmosphere.

Overall, I really enjoyed our meal here…read more Just a heads up this place is loud so this is not the restaurant you want to have an intimate conversation. However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.
