I received a pickup order and had a large nostra salmon salad. Even though we picked up early and had it sit in the refrigerator for a while, it was still fresh with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, olives, feta cheese, and other vegetables. It tasted healthy and good, with the dressing adding a hint of flavor. It was very large that I couldn't finish it all, so I took it home for the next day. As far as the food offerings in the Baldwin Lake area Greenbeat is one of our favorites alongside Seito Sushi and Frosty Fox, even if a bit more expensive than other bowl places. The atmosphere whenever I've eaten here is chill and relaxed, with a very clean dining area and plenty of natural light streaming into the place. I wish they had a few more protein options to place on your bowl, but there are plenty of veggie and topping options to personalize a bowl to have more crunch or more flavor as you desire. There is a board that let's you know what is included in the small or large selection. Everything is layer out and you are able to see all the potential ingredients. One of the best salad experiences I've had, honestly. Too many times the salads in restaurants or quick service are wet and are lacking in flavor. Greenbeat totally nailed the entire deal, especially the pesto dressing. I ordered a delivery of the Orlando Cobb Salad for lunch at my office. The presentation was quite nice for a 'to-go' bowl. The first thing I noticed when I opened everything up was the aroma of the chicken and how dry everything was. None of the vegetables were wet which was awesome because wet veggies can ruin the flavor of a salad. The chicken was tender, moist, and really flavorful. The blue cheese was good and strong and the overall proportions and flavors of each item in the salad was awesome, especially the addition of the red cabbage. The star of the show was the pesto dressing. Just so incredibly good. The only quibble I had was the ranch dressing was a bit watery and didn't pack as much of a taste as I would have liked. Went here for lunch with my partner and was completely shocked on the method that this restaurants use in order to serve the meals. I just decided to toss a bunch of stuff together and wow I'm so glad I did cause it was a success. I was so excited to discover a new and convenient salad place in downtown Orlando. I walked into the store on Orange Avenue and the two women workers were talking to each other. No other customers were in the store. I wasn't greeted as I walked in. Then I walked up to the ordering area and stood in front of the two girls. They continued to ignore me while they kept talking to each other. I waited about 30 seconds and turned around and walked out. They never said a word to me. I was recently in the area and was looking for healthy vegan options for lunch. I was lucky enough to find the GREENBEAT . There are plenty of non- vegan / vegetarian salad options as well- all of which look to be tempting for meat eaters. They have a great variety of greens and sides up to tour choice , built your own salad. The full size salad portion is huge it's only for $8.50 . I was thrilled to find that the topping to lettuce ratio was excellent lot of goodies with every bite!!! Everything was super fresh !!!! Yay for a healthy fast food option downtown! Greenbeat has build your own salads and bowls and they have so many different toppings to choose from! They also have their signature bowls if you're feeling indecisive or don't know where to start. I went with the Shrimp & Cilantro salad but switched out the radishes for feta cheese! This was actually a pretty big portion! I feel like most places skimp on the shrimp and so I thought that would be the case here too, but no! I got two scoops of shrimp and felt like it was just enough. I got a side of the basil lime dressing to try it and ended up using it all because it was SO good. The prices are pretty decent for the amount of food that you get. The service was pretty quick as you just go down the line and choose your toppings and then you're out the door or ready to grab a seat and eat! My only complaint would be parking. Great location for healthy food. It's simple concept and you get a lot of salad for what you pay for. The only issue is that their veggies aren't cool/cold enough. I personally don't mind. But I know many people won't eat their salads "warm ". I'm not sure if the spot they put their greens are actually refrigerated or not but it definitely doesn't seem like it. The concept is simple. Pick the base (types of veggies or rice or quinoa) then add 4 toppings. You can add extra proteins for more $$. If you don't add extra proteins the price usually stays under $8 which is reasonable. Ive tried different combinations. The first time I got wild rice , spinach , double vocado, strawberry, egg, and hummus (extra $)on top with balsamic vinaigrette. I was mainly going for more protein so I chose so many random items. It tastes amazing! The hummus comes with chips. The chips taste great. And I was way too full Second time I went, I realized I didn't need the hummus cause it's just too much. So I just got double eggs and double avocado for toppings. It tastes just as good and filled me up too. I love the environment. This place has dog bowls outside with water. They have suggested ideas for salads with a really good combination of ingredients some of which include the usual proteins such as salmon, tuna, and chicken. If you don't like the things they put together on the menu you can simply have the staff make your salad anyway you want. And they've made this process very easy because all of the possible ingredients are laid out for you behind in plain sights. I had the salmon salad which I found to be absolutely incredible.
