    Outdoor area.

This is a bright, wide open, tea place with lots of tea, food, and dessert options. Tons of seating and a really cute outdoor area. Free parking but very limited from what I can see. Bonus is there's a ton of really cute novelties, many of which are very inspirational and just what most of us need. Would come here again.

Infusion Tea is such a fantastic spot! You can choose from a wide variety of teas (and coffee), desserts, and food. There are lots of options for vegetarians and vegans which is so great. They offer a tea of the day, or you can get any of their teas brewed fresh. I almost always grab the tea of the day, and I haven't been disappointed yet. My last visit the Mint to Be Mate was the tea of the day, and it was lovely. I also grabbed the Jack Kerouac Quesadilla with a side salad. The quesadilla was made with two thicker almost naan-like tortillas and filled with cheesy, flavorful goodness. It was served with salsa, guacamole, and a chipotle sauce. I am not even sure which sauce was my favorite, they were all delicious. The side salad was fresh and the dressing was scrumptious! Service was great and the employees have always been super friendly here. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out to you. But you can always head back up to the counter if you need anything else! Plus, the store offers a variety of items from local artists that you can browse. A great place to pick up some holiday gifts or just something for yourself. I love the relaxed and cozy atmosphere inside, and you can really just relax and hang out. Great spot to hang out with friends or just enjoy a relaxing time.

    Caprese Avocado Toast (one slice)

As someone who's not an avid tea drinker, I was initially concerned if I would find something I would enjoy. And I was pleasantly surprised with all of the food and pastry offerings. I did enjoy the novelty of having the warm tea be freshly steep. Although I think where they shine was more in their food. I ordered a Caprese avocado toast. I was a little concerned about getting one slice and it would end up being enough but it was. I also decided to get an order of the classic cucumber sandwiches. Although they were yummy, they were a bit much for the price. If you really wanted the tea and sandwich combo they did have different options that would've been more price effective. When I arrived, I didn't really see too many tables available as they were setting up for a private event. I ended up sitting at a table that wasn't properly cleaned waiting for server to hopefully come. When I realize they were a little busy, I ended up taking the dirty place and placing them on another dirty table. So they just keep in mind that they are busy and have patience. I also ended up getting a few pastries- a scone and a black & white cookie. I didn't see anywhere and the cashier didn't mention that the scone was gluten-free, which wasn't what I personally wanted. It's great for anybody who has dietary restrictions if it's not what you're interested in be sure to confirm before purchasing any pastries. Overall, I have to really commend them for having a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan options. The inside of the store is very cute and is great for a casual brunch get together.

Infusion tea used to be my local Sanctuary 20 years ago. Since moving away, I have missed it often. So of course being in town again I decided to make a stop in for a tea and quick lunch. The ladies at the front were very friendly and helpful. The tea and food menus are extensive with wonderful descriptions alongside each tea. Today I ordered their Quiche of the day, mushroom but spinach, , which was accompanied by delicious side salad with their Housemade vinaigrette. The food was delicious! The layout has changed but it is still nice. However, the dedication to tea and how it has served has seemed to change. You used to be served your tea with a strainer and hot pot of water. Now you must walk up to the cashier every time you would like more hot water with your glass. And when they give you the hot water, it is straight from the hot water machine, which is far too hot for green tea. This was surprising to me as it is a dedicated tea place and different types of tea require different tea temperatures for optimal quality to be preserved when serving.

I had such an amazing time celebrating my friend Brittney's Birthday here. She wanted a tea party and that's what we got. The table was beautifully decorated, bottomless mimosas. I had one of the best apple pie pastry and scones with jam. Another favorite was drinking strawberry white tea. Delicious! I did not need to add any agave or honey because it naturally tasted sweet. I purchased a few samples so I can figure out which tea is best for me. Thank you to Tonya for hosting us and taking care of us. Thank you Infusions Tea. I'm a fan!

Infusion Tea is such a cozy and charming spot! We absolutely love the relaxing atmosphere it's the perfect place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or just unwind with a warm cup of tea. They have an amazing selection of teas, from fruity blends to floral and herbal options, and you can tell everything is made with care. We also love that they offer vegan and vegetarian options, plus a bakery with delicious gluten-free treats. The lavender cupcake was a favorite it literally tasted like fruity pebbles in the best way! What makes this place even more special is that they also host events like baby showers and tea parties, and have a cute little gift shop filled with tea accessories, stationery, and unique finds. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and the overall vibe is warm and inviting. Whether you're a tea lover or just looking for a relaxing spot in Orlando, Infusion Tea is a must-visit! Obsessed with this place! I literally go like two times a week. Can be a little pricey but if you know some menu hacks it makes it worth it. I live for their berry goat cheese toast. You can even mix and match your toasts and get an extra for only $3 more. Not crazy on any of their salads but I usually will substitute fruit or hummus and chips instead.

My coworkers have been raving about this spot for months, and I finally made 2 trips here! The Edgewater location is perfect for accessing from my office nearby, and I appreciate that it's one of the restaurants with actual parking available. The inside is adorable with all of the local items to shop, and we enjoyed sitting outside in their nice outdoor seating area. The menu is huge! Beyond the great tea selection (I've enjoyed all that I've tried), the menu has a ton of options, too. I didn't realize immediately that it was a big vegetarian/vegan menu, but I appreciate the variety available. I've enjoyed both the avocado toast and the California Cobb in a rice quinoa bowl, and both were great lunch portions. I especially loved the toast! Service has been prompt and helpful both times I've visited. Glad I found another good work lunch spot!

This place was incredibly hospitable when I came here from out of town for a bridal shower which was rescheduled for a different day without informing me. They literally gave me a tea for coming all that way when it wasn't even their fault. It made my day a little more sunny and the tea was also tasty. I forget the flavor she said it was as in the moment I was overcome with embarrassment but I'd love to come back here and support this business. Staff was so kind in trying to help me figure out what happened to the party I was supposed to be going to. They even contacted their manager. Vibes were chill and there were other celebrations such as birthdays while I was there.

I cannot believe that I haven't left a review for this place yet! I've been coming here for years now. Anyways it's always always a great time for me. It's a great place to go and study, work, take friends, have an event etc. They also have some of the best vegan/gluten free dessert/food and the tea, they have such a variety of tea. I love this place so much! So far I've tried their tea for two, I've tried a few of their pastries/brownies, the sandwiches, and a bunch of delicious tea. And today I went for a Galentines tea party. We had a delicious salad, soup, macarons, truffles and cupcakes! Everything was so good and everyone at the table seemed to agree. The service here is also always great as well.

I can't rave about this place enough. I am soooo sad we don't have one in the west coast. I'll be ordering tea to California from now on. Highly recommend the BLT & blackberry sage tea iced. It was sooooo good yall. The salad that came with it was PERFECT. Tasted soo good but lightly coated & fresh. Anytime I'm in Orlando I will definitely be visiting this place!

Today's visit was just for tea and browsing the adjoining co-op for a unique gift, but my daughter and I enjoy coming by for tea and lunch. I love the vast menu of teas -- especially the "wellness tea blends" for when I need a detox. Their food menu is some of the best vegetarian options in Orlando! Their dining area is bright and welcoming, and service is always wonderful! As I mentioned earlier, they have a co-op space featuring unique gift items, from clothing to home goods. Today there was a masseuse for chair massages. Such a great place!

It may seem like an odd sight in the middle of the park, but in fact it used to exist in a line of historic homes that were taken down for the park expansion. Now it sits alone, right off of the walking path surrounding the Lake. The home is lovely and features a sunroom, living room, parlor, outdoor terrace, upstairs area with a balcony, bridal changing room, and more. Recently I went for a lunch meeting in their upstairs space, the Summerlin Room ($75/hr rental with a 2 hr min). It was a lovely spot and fit our group of fifteen perfectly. I'll admit that I had been to the house once before to help with another event and the room wasn't set to the specifications agreed upon so we had to move and reset the chairs and tables right before the meeting. I remember the event organizer was quite annoyed... Hopefully it was a fluke! Side note- There is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow. This is worth mentioning in case your event includes someone with mobility issues or who uses a wheelchair. As I was heading out I stopped in a room by the front and appreciated the array of pamphlets set up- ranging from history of the house to an Orlando biking map. There were also tourist pamphlets with the typical attractions (presumably for out of town guests of weddings of meetings). Them: "No, it's a food hall in the Packing District." Me: "You are literally making up random words to me right now and saying them."   If you've lived in Orlando for most of your life like I have, you might've thought the only thing worth your time in this neighborhood was long-time staple Fairvilla Megastore. While Fairvilla's stamina and staying power are still going strong, there's a new entry into this previously otherwise under stimulating area--gentrification. Princeton & North OBT apparently underwent an industrial chic makeover in the past few years, becoming essentially "New College Park" (CP is a few blocks east), gaining a Publix, some trendy apartments called the Cannery, and the Great Southern Box Company food hall.   The GSBC concept is honestly great--it's a collection of locally-owned restaurants arrayed around a central bar in the middle of a big hall. There's large, open seating both inside and especially outside, where there's a large astroturf lawn with lounging chairs and lawn games. My review mostly focuses on the venue as a whole, specifically the bar in the middle, but there are multiple individual small businesses and vendors within that definitely deserve their own separate, stellar reviews at a later date, as the food at these is amazing - - these include Eighty Twenty, Antica Pizzeria, Fui Yo Mexicana, A Lo Cubano, Braza Brazilian Steakhouse, Waffle Sandwich Bar, and more. The sheer amount of choices makes this place a definite recommendation even though my group's most recent experience at the middle bar wasn't as good as my last one- - the concept and overall vibe is just that good.   A group of us went on a Friday night after work (my second visit) and sat in a booth near the bar. Prices are ok, $5-7 for beers, and $10-$14 for cocktails. The drinks on this trip were "Meh." A friend had already arrived and ordered one cocktail, sharing that she'd taken a while to get noticed even though the bar was not crowded and there were many bartenders. She also said her drink was mostly mixer ("It's all juice!"). I walked over to the bar and was served right away but was told that on a Friday night they were out of all beers except for two (Smithwick and an IPA). I ordered the Smithwick, which wasn't filled to the top; I later ordered a Honey & Thyme, which turned out to be a very light pour and mostly the lemon zest mixer, same as my friend's. My other friend ordered a Tony's Spicy Rita ($14) at that point and received it in a small plastic cup, as there were no more glasses.   That said, I'd visited here a year ago and remembered that the drinks and service were great, so I don't know if this was a rare off night or indicative of a longer, more permanent slide in quality. We ordered some GREAT food from Eighty Twenty, but more on that in a separate review of that business, as it deserves its own accolades.   The inconsistency of my two experiences in the center bar (each a year apart) is the only reason I give four stars instead of five, but I really do appreciate this concept as a whole, and I very much hope this place and the businesses within succeed and continue to be around for a long time.   I'll be visiting again for sure, and hopefully the next time will be a bit closer to what I remember on my first visit. Again, the concept and overall vibe is just that good. I DO recommend that Orlando residents (especially long-time residents who are just learning for the first time that Orlando has a Packing District) check this out, as no matter what, you'll find something good for every member of your group that will make it worth your time.

My first time having them, I fell immediately in love with their beef noodle option: Beef & Broccoli. It is flavorful and filling! The price points are standard (roughly $17.00 for the Beef & Broccoli). All other dishes are reasonably priced. As for A La Cart City as a place, it's centrally located off Orange Ave. There is PAID parking all around - sadly, unless you use the DTO promo code for a free two hours of parking, you will have to pay to park just about anywhere in Downtown Orlando. Parking is ample, but it can get pricey depending on when / where you park. There is ample seating downstairs and upstairs. It is service animal-friendly. They have a large screen for viewing sports or displaying any video (if you reserve the space for an event). The staff is kind, attentive, and helpful. They have a decent (not super large, but decent nonetheless) beer and wine selection. Price points are comparable to the other A La Cart locations. The overall location is great in the sense that it's a great spot to start a "bar-hop" vibe and make your way down into the thick of DTO. All in all, I am a fan of all three A La Cart lcoations. Also, did I mention, it is a great little spot for events! So, definitely visit them if you have not already.

4 Stars for possibly the oddest DIY event space / living space / arts space I've ever encountered…read more "Welcome. You are here. It is now." -- The words painted on the stairs leading to this magical place. How can I not be a fan of The Space? This DIY venue, with no signage, located above Anthony's Pizza in Mills 50 is just so crazy that it makes me want more. They host a bunch of odd/quirky/artistic events including Literocalypse (a monthly reading series featuring local writers), figure drawing art sessions, crazy dance parties (ex: SPACE-FEST), nude yoga, zine-release parties, musicians from all around, etc. Park behind Anthony's and walk up the stairs to find fantastically decorated hallways (sheets, sheets, and more sheets!) in what I imagine used to be a regular apartment. I went for Literocalypse one night and found myself wandering the apartment between readings. It seemed like people lived there- the kitchen looked like I had stocked it in my early college days and there were some homemade brownies sitting there, tempting anyone brave enough to take one. Their website, though minimal, hints to the goals of this place with a simple message at the top: "culture. expression. collaboration. education. inspiration. community. progress." It seems you can rent the space for events or to live there- "rental rates are flexible and donation based." I dig that they have a calendar of events that seems to be kept up to date. Unfortunately, I've heard that they've recently been throwing shows and events to raise money to save The Space and I hear that the actual physical space is for sale, but hopefully with the support of the arts community it will remain in its current iteration or another. In the end, Orlando is better for having these types of unique, non-judgemental venues for young artists to explore themselves and for us less artistic folks to enjoy something very real and untainted. And yes, I hear the dance parties are pretty freaking nuts (and hot, with only window AC units).

Brought in the new year with a few close friends at a private NYE Soirée gathering at The Oliv bar…read more Having been prior before for another event, I was excited to revisit this cute little local bar but without the overly huge crowd. And as to be expected, the event was amazing. Drinks were good - averagely priced. We also got a welcome shot and a glass of champagne to toast with to bring in the new year! Staff were super friendly and very attentive. I believe the control of the guest capacity aided in that as well because the staff were not overwhelmed and had the ability to attend to all guests in a timely manner. The music (DJ invited to curate the tunes for that evening) was great! Vibes were perfect and again, I put emphasis on the fact that this event was private so we were not crammed into this space. The Oliv Bar is on the quainter side of local bars but it's truly a nice venue. It has tree in the center - which adds a unique twits to the space. The bay windows add another level of uniqueness to the space as well but, pose a capacity challenge since the space is circular in nature. And circular spaces tend to foster areas of non-usable space. Beyond that, it's a unique design experience that isn't necessarily seen in most places. So, I appreciate that as an architectural designer. All in all, I'll definitely recommend this local bar. It's worth going on a regular night as well, as they aren't super packed and you can experience the vibes of the space without being overwhelmed with larger crowds - like you'll see more in the bars in downtown. Great event. Great space. Cannot wait to see what this year brings us all!!
