It's newly opened so be prepared to wait. Very family friendly environment and a decent selection of beer on tap. I ordered the cheese bread 8/10, and a large pepperoni, light sauce, cooked lightly. Maybe customization isn't their thing because my pie was because my pizza was so dry it broke like matzo crackers when I tried to fold the slice and my sauce was far from light. Needless to say it was not edible and a bit taste of $30. I've had lazy moon at other locations and never had an experience like this. I'll take the drive to the Orlando location if I'm craving a giant slice next time.

NEW chicken Caesar Wrap

Their newest item the Caesar Wrap was BOMB!! It's only available during lunch, but they are working on rolling this out for dinner! It is stuffed to the max with chicken, lettuce and their delicious crumbled croutons! A bit heavy on the dressing side for my liking, so I will probably say light the next time I order! It is hearty and yummy! Obv the pizza is always bomb too, so can't go wrong with any food at the Lazy!

We were in the mood for Pizza so I decided on Lazy moon we ordered the Meatface pizza , Buffalo chicken pizza , Cesar salad, Honey mustard honey hot wings , cheese bread and a Diablo drink . The service was quick and the food was delicious! We were full and quickly realized our eyes were bigger than our stomach . The ambiance was not super busy but steady . We took allot to go and it made for a good meal the next day.

Lazy Moon is hands-down our go-to pizza spot! we probably come here every other month! We were so excited when the Maitland location opened since it's way more convenient than driving to the downtown one. The pizza is always on point. I usually keep it simple with a cheese slice and extra cheese (because why not?), and my partner always goes for the Hawaiian. The slices are huge, fresh, and super satisfying. The music is at a moderate level, so it's easy to have a conversation without yelling. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming too, which just adds to the experience. Definitely one of our favorite low-key spots for pizza night.

I usually go to the location on colonial but the maitland is closer to where I live so went to get a Hawaii pizza and it was good and came out quick too!

New Lazy moon location is super nice! Enjoyed The Buff pizza slice for lunch last week. I think this was the best slice I've had in a while, I could taste the freshness and there was a good amount of sauce and toppings. I like to dip it in ranch!! The pizza slices here are massive FYI if you haven't been before, you only need 1. Prices start at about $7 and go to 12-14$ for the loaded specialty slices. They do have some good lunch combos you can get a side salad. Sometimes I will get a basic cheese with a side salad and it's filling. Their Caesar salad is super yummy. There is a bar you can order at as well. They are known for their "Boxcar Willy" combo which is a cheese slice and a pint of PBR. Overall impressed with this location.

I finally got my husband and my son to try Lazy Moon pizza after visiting for a yelp event! They LOVED IT. My husband and my son both got the lunch special of one piece of pizza and a drink for $8. What a great deal! I love the option of a honey drizzle on the pizza which is an uncommon but underrated flavor on pizza. The service was fast and friendly as it ALWAYS is. My husband loved the vibe and is already suggesting we go back which is a BIG clue he loved it as he is such a picky eater. The next time we come we plan to explore more of the menu but it's so hard to pick anything but the pizza it's so good!

Slice - The Buff Pizza

This was my first time trying Lazy Moon and it was a mixed experience. The staff were friendly and the shop was clean and had a good ambiance. I ordered a slice and a soda. I got The Buff pizza slice, which has buffalo sauce, chicken, blue cheese, marinara, and a cheese blend. The wait for a single slice was longer than anticipated. The actual pizza was fine, but very salty. I like the thin crust, but it was noticeably soggy. While not bad, it wasn't the experience I'd hoped for from a more elevated concept. I'll definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Legendary-sized pizza slices continue to be the standard at this bright, new location in Maitland. I've now enjoyed pizza at all three current locations and at the original location that was razed and replaced by UCF student housing. History aside, the Maitland location is the best in my opinion. What stands out? The pizza still is loaded with toppings and tastes great! The uniquely characteristic honey for the crust (bones) is dispensed in little cups (in place of the honey bear dispensers on the tables). The space is bright -inside and outside, full of energy, and the best customer service. All the employees look happy to be working here! Soda and adult beverages are available. I've enjoyed a number of the beers on draft. Parking is plentiful since this is a stand alone location in the midst of other businesses in storefronts. Bonus material: Lookup "Our Story" on the Lazy Moon website to discover the (humorous) "real story" of their beginnings, starting in 1620. https://www.lazymoonpizza.com/story

crab rangoon slice
Hannah G.

Never met a Lazy Moon I didn't like. Finally got to stop in here after seeing it open for a few months, and the crab rangoon pizza special truly was the best slice I've ever had from them. This location is a little brighter than the Colonial location which used to be my go-to. The outdoor tables and bar are spacious and comfortable, and I see myself visiting for all types of different occasions. Service was quick and kind. Looking forward to many more visits!

Create your own: Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Bacon crumbles Sauté mushroom, Blue cheese crumbles

Recently my wife and I dined at Lazy Moon, which is located in Maitland. We have never been here before, so I was excited to try this place for dinner. We have heard great things about their pizza, mostly that the slices were monstrous. The restaurant has a minimalist touch, which I actually loved. It told me that the food will speak for itself. The menu itself is a straightforward one. You can build your own pizza, choose from the Lazy Favs, and calzone, a salad, or soups. Aside from the food they offer alcohol from the Booze Bible, which is a great name for the menu lol. Broken down to cocktails, wine, beer (draft, bottle, cans), cider and seltzer. My wife decided to create her own pizza (Tomato sauce, Mozzarella, Bacon crumbles Sauté mushroom, blue cheese crumbles) She loved this pizza a lot. Her words were the freshness of the mozzarella and tomato sauce, the earthiness of the mushrooms, the crunchiness of the bacon, the tang of the blue cheese... all made the perfect bite. 10 stars. She also ordered some drinks from the bar. Riesling, (Fitz de Katz: Semi-sweet, aromatic apple, peach and pear notes) She loved this Riesling a lot and wants to buy a bottle for the house asap. For her second drink she ordered the Mojito (Flor de Caña Rum, mint, lime, simple syrup) She also thought this was delicious. She could've gone for a bigger glass. I chose to create my own: (tomato sauce, Asiago Cheese, double sausage crumbs, green bell peppers, red onion, basil) LOVED this pizza slice. The sausage was flavorful, the freshness of each ingredient was on point. For my drinks I got 2 Old Fashioned (Ezra Brooks Rye Whiskey, blood orange bitters, angostura bitters, simple syrup) a wonderful old fashioned that was generous with the whiskey. All in all it was a great experience. They have a great staff, special thanks to Luke for being attentive. The food was utter deliciousness. We definitely will be returning Aces!

The drink menu the night I went was divided into sections: effervescent, shaken, stirred, and "exploring technique." I had two drinks: the "Siam Silk" is a tiki-ish riff on a clarified milk punch using cognac, a rum blend, and Thai iced tea with fruit; the other drink I had was a low-ABV riff on a Sherry Cobbler. They were both great, and I appreciate that they have a creative low/no-alcohol portion of the menu. This was definitely a pleasant surprise to find up north of Orlando, although perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised at all--Maitland has another one of my favorite bars in the metro area (Permanent Vacation). The ambiance and feel of the bar is very "sultry" and "intimate." The mood lighting, dark paneling/interiors paired with the bar itself being lit to be the center of attention, lends itself to the secretiveness and LURE that a modernized speakeasy would provide. I truly enjoy stepping foot into this little hidden, but NOT so hidden, gem (which can be accessed from the interior to Talay). Service can be slow at times - especially when they are busy. However, the staff is usually always gracious, helpful, and willing to serve. The few great mixologists I've met there have also been very willing to break down how they make their drinks and really give us a glimpse into their world. So, I'm appreciative of that. That is not something that you can always expect at bars. As for the drinks (and food I'll glaze over), I am usually not left disappointed. I appreciate that seasonally they play with their drink menu and introduce new cocktails. I also love a handful of their signature drinks on the menu. This may be the only bar I've had a drink with Aperol in it that I actually ENJOYED (and not tolerated). The pricing can get high depending on what you order, but for the area and the going rate of a night out, they hold their own. Definitely don't pop into Noir if you are looking for an AFFORDABLE cocktail experience because the tab will creep up on you. The food is OKAY. They share a kitchen with Talay and offer some items not on the Talay menu - which is nice. However, I rarely eat when I visit, so the few times I have, it's been okay. Nothing to truly brag home about. I am happy, though, that they did start offering food because in the very beginning (when they first opened), that was not an option. Anyways, Noir Bar is GREAT (to me)! I will keep coming here and recommending it to others. It's also great for a date night or night out with your friends. It's in a decent location - but please take heed of parking in this area, as it can be challenging to find FREE street parking. However, there is parking available all around and in various garages nearby.

Real good vibes. Orlando obviously has no shortage of places to eat, drink, and gather, but Alfie's belongs to that rare category of venues that feel equally at home in a major metropolis. It's the kind of spot that would fit seamlessly into Los Angeles's best neighborhoods: think Gold Line in Highland Park or the Vinyl Room at the Hollywood Palladium. Not because they're carbon copies, but because they share that intangible quality of genuine discovery and cultural curiosity. The crowd ( age range 25 - 35 mostly ) was genuinely engaged with one another. People were actually talking, actually present, not hunched over their phones. That alone felt invigorating. There was an undeniable spark in the room. Alfie's wasn't chasing trends; it was simply allowing them to emerge naturally. What impressed me most was how they brought it all together .. Retro stereo equipment and vinyl players from the 50s mixed with a bar area that's super sleek and modern. Conversations, music, the lounge itself .... all came together in a way that felt alive and IN THE MOMENT. When my LA friends visit, Alfie's is on the list. Since valet parking is free, I took advantage of it and headed straight to check in. I was greeted immediately and sent to the table where I could watch the open kitchen. I was told most of the drinks were strong, so I tried the mezcal drink (14 dollars). I forgot the name, but it was smoky, herbal, and lightly boozy. It was such a nice sipping drink. I was very happy that my server was very honest in mentioning the salmon was farmed raised, so I decided to go with the airline chicken instead (26 dollars). Before I was given my chicken, the chef near my table gave me a complimentary hors D'oeuvre. It looked to be a small wonton bowls filled with ahi tuna with some guac topping I think. Whatever it was, I was in heaven. It was fresh and flavorful, making my taste buds happy. When the chicken arrived, it came mostly deboned. It was tender enough, but could have been a little more juicy. It could been a bit more seasoned as well since I tasted mostly chicken without any other flavors. The vegetables, however, were far better as the potatoes were roasted and seasoned perfectly. I thought there would be mostly grilled vegetables, but the potatoes overtook them. The other vegetables were still amazing. I wish there was more of the green salsa, but it was thin. It did, however, added the kick and flavor to the chicken. It was still a very enjoyable entree. For dessert, they handed a separate menu, and I had to do the creme brulee (11 dollars). It was quite generous, but still light enough to finish. The crust was crispy without being too powerful, and the vanilla specks just made the flavor perfect. The service was excellent and professional. When it was time to pay, I showed the email to my server, who got the manager to verify. The manager immediately checked and gave me the twenty dollars off, making the total price before tips about 33 dollars after tax. It was a great deal. Both the manager and server checked up with me on the dinner and were very friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, but t-shirt and jeans are still welcome here. I love the open kitchen, and you are welcome to talk to the chefs. I am so happy I visited Luke's again after a long time. I loved their sister restaurant, Lumas, and was sad they closed a while back ago. It evokes another era, the 1930s and 1940s, a hidden place where people escaped reality for a few hours and where every whispered conversation felt a little more dangerous than it should. There is something about saying the name out loud that feels almost mischievous. Even before stepping inside, it conjures images of old Hollywood glamour, forbidden romance, and the kind of longing that filled classic films. The sort of place where people met not because they had to, but because they couldn't stay away. The space itself more than lives up to the promise of its name. Death in the Afternoon is one of the most visually interesting places Orlando has to offer. It feels intimate, mysterious, and wonderfully removed from the ordinary. I couldn't help but think of The Great Gatsby, not because of excess or extravagance, but because of that same sense of romance, possibility, and yearning for something just out of reach. In fact, I visited twice in the same afternoon. My first stop was simply to satisfy my curiosity and see if the reality matched the image I had built up in my head. It did. So after completing the rest of my three-hour Mills 50 walk, I found myself drawn back for a meal and a chance to enjoy the atmosphere a little longer. The menu is limited, so choose wisely. The salmon entrée was excellent and easily the standout of my meal. The Caesar salad was pleasant enough, but the salmon is what I would come back for. As a perfect ending to the day, a dear longtime Yelp colleague joined me and we spent some time catching up on the latest news and gossip in our circles. Good conversation, a memorable meal, and an atmosphere that feels like it belongs to another time. Death in the Afternoon is not just a restaurant. It's the kind of place that stays on your mind long after you've left. Make sure your stay is not over 2 hours tho ..
