We came in and there was a picture of Princess Diana on the wall which I thought was cool. The ambiance was quiet. We were greeted by the bartender who was nice and ready for us to order. I recently had the Pimento Cheese Bites and the Pickle Brined Chicken Wings. The Cheese Bites: Warm, crispy outside, gooey cheesy center. Drizzled with hot honey. Delicious. Rich. Would go well with a light beer. The Pickled Wings: Crazy piping hot, baked. Lovely, briny pickled flavor coming through. Get sauce on side so you can taste the pickle. Cool little pub that feels like your neighborhood local... because it is. Small, cozy, and filled with character. Service was awesome--friendly, fast, and on top of it. The Scotch egg was surprisingly great, and the Guinness? Perfect pour... like it knew I was coming. Apparently they do Jeopardy every day at 7, which is genius, and tonight they had amateur comedy... which I sincerely wish I could have stuck around for. I have wanted to "check this place out" for years and I finally went about a month ago. I ended up returning 2 weeks later because I really enjoyed it. While it might look unassuming from the outside it is really a quaint cool hang out place. Their menu says that their guinness is the best in town...and it really is good. They have the taps calibrated for the perfect pour. They have a small food menu as well so you can snack with your drink. The 2 times I have been they either had TV going and the other time a dart tournament. This is just a great place to go have a pint and be able to have a conversation with someone. There is also a little patio area out back if the weather is nice. Should you enjoy chill casual little bars then this is someplace that you should definitely check out. read more

Quaint little English Pub squeezed between Sportstown and Gringos. So old school they actually use metal darts, so I'm pretty sure they aren't worried about anyone getting out of hand. Travis, the bartender, was really nice and made us feel right at home! I had a couple High Noons ($5) and my partner had Guinness ($7). Want a taste of a small English pub? Look no further than Bull & Bush. They are a quant pub located next to TG Lee in the Milk District. The service was very nice and cheerful, plus this place had a locals feeling but in a good welcoming way (gotta love everyone watching and participating in jeopardy). They serve food but we did not try it, but it is typical English fare and fairly priced. But the real thing you go for are the drinks. Now they don't have a full bar, but they do have fireball shots, canned cocktails and other canned or bottled beverages. Then of course they have a great choice of beers local and imported. They have a small draft list, but a large bottled or canned beer list to pick from. The prices for the drinks were cheaper than most places in the area which is great! Stopped in for a few drinks trying to help Milk district during construction. I was still a little munchie so I ordered the Scotch Eggs - they were delicious and I highly recommend them. I had a black and tan with the eggs and it was a good pour. They have a good variety of drinks for all tastes. They have lots of space for seating, but we opted for the bar. It was quiet and easy to chat, but they also had Jeopardy on which was interesting to hear all the different answers during the show. Not sure why I've never stopped in here before, but glad I finally stopped in for a couple of drinks. The interior is small and cozy with multiple dart boards at the front of the pub and plenty of seating throughout the rest. The beer selection is great with plenty of imports to choose from. I was craving an English bitter so the Old Speckled Hen hit the spot. The service was quick and friendly, with the lone bartender doing well to keep everyone with drink in hand. We were on a food tour and this was our first stop. The inside is somewhat reminiscent of an English Pub. There are dart boards as well as a stage area. There is also a nice bar and booths and tables. We were provided a beer and Scotch Eggs. I had never eaten them before and I thought they were excellent. They were served with a sauce and also some spicy mustard. Both went well with the eggs. The only turn off for me was the smell of cigarettes. Bull & Bush is a small bar in the Milk District, and the oldest pub in Orlando I hear, that is home to dart boards, Golden Tee (which people get crazy about), good English inspired pub food, and awesome drinks. The bartender who is usually there, God I hate myself for not knowing her name, anyway, she is great everytime we go in. Newbies beware, it may take a few trips to B&B before they warm up to you, but never fear, it's worth it! I hear there is trivia and stand-up comedy shows there on a regular basis, but I haven't been, so I'm not that keen on those... Oh! Thankfully, my friend who works next door came to my rescue and helped me find my things and get home safely. I just wanted to say comedy night at the Bull and Bush is bomb. My favorite comedians are Genisis, Gus, and Joe C. They are the best comedians in my opinion. There is a female bartender there with blonde hair (sometimes its other colors) who is a really good listener. Shes fun to talk to. Please tip her the best out of all the bar tenders. Also she pours a good beer. Theres lots to do around that area. I forgot they have food. Get the cheese platter please. Its really worth the money. Also they do allow you to throw your exes picture up on the dart board, its a great outlet; and stuffs to do in your spare time. Try it. You know you want to. My partner and I need to kill some time before our evening activities begin. We decide to continue our investigation for the supplier of the perfect Guinness. We have a tip that this is such an establishment. Approaching the building, we run into a tactical challenge. Parking is located behind the building and the access alley is an extremely narrow, one way. This is no place for a 1966 Ford Fairlane. Fortunately for us, we drive a Jeep Wrangler. This is a fairly small pub, a few booths along one wall, bar seating with traditional english bar towels, and a large throwing stage for three steel tip dart boards. Service is quick and friendly and the bar does allow smoking. They have Guinness and Strongbow cider and I remember seeing Dos Equis Lager. Oddly out of place in an english pub. The Guinness pour is very good, and the cool dark liquid goes down well. My partner has a Strongbow which is also well liked. We did not have time to dine and we left before the Saturday pub quiz started. Perhaps next time, and oh yes, there will be a next time. read more

How dreadful that I didn't review Bull and Bush earlier. This is a fantastic dive bar in probably the best part of town. That's my opinion, but when it comes to interesting ambiance, a good selection of beer with prices clearly posted (all the way down to $2 or $3 for a Narragansett). There is also Genesee, a rare pokemon of a beer from beautiful Rochester, New York. On Saturday nights, there is a delightful, off-color comedy show known as Shit Sandwich. One former performer, Nick Pupo, is now a famous actor on the AMC hopefully-will-be-continued show Halt and Catch Fire. Also, bar food including such things as Scotch Egg and Shepherd's Pie... I haven't tried it and don't feel the need to, but it's there. read more

The room is small, but there are a few booths which you and a handful of friends can squeeze into and yammer the night away. The atmosphere is all about the English Pub, with wooden cross beams and a nicely made bar seating area. There are real dartboards and a couple TV's are there if you need them. Prices aren't bad, and the staff is friendly and they won't jerk your ass around. Parking is always weird, as there is a dirt/gravel lot out back and it isn't very flat. My husband actually knew of it (from his "frat boy" days...) and took a group of us there one night. It is a tiny little place - a couple of booths and tables, dart boards, and a bar. We were headed to the Milk Bar. We landed at the Bull & Bush. The Milk Bar by the time we got there with a party of 8 was too busy for all of us to sit and enjoy,.... The Bull and Bush will continue to be a back up to the Milk Bar. It was smokey, but if you can get past that,... you will be just fine. In a nutshell... This place is small, but packs a punch. All they serve is wine and beer...stick to the beer. They carry the usual as well as the not-so-usual brands and flavors. It's tucked away on a side road, so it's like having a secret that not many people know about. There are some interesting characters who hang out here which makes for a different experience each time you go here. It's mostly older men "relaxing" after work. One of my very favorite bars in Orlando, Amy the owner is one of the nicest people in the world. Heidi the bartender is also very cool. This place has been here for a long time! Great cozy British pub with a focus on Rugby. There are a couple dart boards and if you are good they will publish your birthday on their monthly calendar. Don't try to go here on sunday or even for lunch cause they are closed. They also serve a small and simple menu of food but it's tasty. Not a huge beer selection but they have all the necessaries, I was there a few nights ago and they had: Sam Adams Octoberfest and Newcastle. The other cool thing is there is a Big Pool Hall Next door Sportstown Billards. This place takes it home to bringing a British pub to town. Outside it takes the cottage motif with the black trimmed red doors and a little wooden barrel outside. Inside there are two beers they pour extremely well: the snakebite and the Guinness, and while these two reasons alone should bring a good crowd, there are many more. Another is the pub food which bring in some really good fish n' chips and scotch eggs, and a CD changer that can pump out some good time British Invasion rock.
