First of all the service was great. Our server was courteous and very attentive to our needs. The place appeared to have a lot of wear and tear and needed a major cleaning. Now for my review of the food, it was an average diner experience. My partner had waffles and sausage and to tell you the truth, the waffle was nothing to write home about and the sausage was basically sitting around for quite a while. I had a chicken fingers sandwich and some curly fries and again it was average. And the price was basically the same as getting a lunch at Chili's or any other place so if you want a quick bite and good service, be my guest. read more

Came here on a Saturday morning around 7am. Ordered eggs, bacon and hash browns to go. I stood at the register for maybe about 10 mins, until someone came and took my ordered. Waited about another 10 for my food to be packed up. The restaurant itself is your average diner. The food wasn't all that special, but it's a very comforting meal. Meh- not a single employee was wearing a mask or gloves. Mask is slightly understandable, but gloves? Come on now. That's just basic restaurant hygiene. This spot was amazing!!!!! We stopped here while my brother in law was playing a baseball game at a near college & EVERYTHING looked so good. The food was hot and prepared exactly how we asked. Well, the food was great but they are definitely not complying with COVID requirements. None of the staff wore masks, there were multiple multi use items on the table ie S&P, sugar, creamer etc. Not sure if they were wiping down the table or seats between customers. Very disappointing considering a large portion of their patrons are of the elderly community. That aside, the biscuit was very light and probably one of the best ive ever had. The corn beef hash was crispy which is also rare. My bf had the grillmans omlet which was smaller than expected but it was full of stuffing. The staff was friendly and attentive. Prices were really reasonable. We'll probably be back but might be a while. read more

By the time we walked out my disabled husband was shaking! She upset him and since he also has dementia it took hours & medication to calm him down! This place is constantly busy and crazy busy during "season". I've had more than three meals here and I have a few points to mention: The menu is regular diner food. Nothing fancy and nothing special. It's basic and what some may expect. Their coffee is lacking. It's hot, but not much more. On the watery side imo. Service can be great or it can very average depending on the amount of patrons seated. Wait times can be really long, so be patient or go elsewhere. Lastly, I believe it's more about their great location off 441 than their great food or service. Plenty of regulars due to its proximity to 55+communities. I had been living off Dunkin Donuts the past few days for breakfast and I really wanted a hearty breakfast. I looked on Yelp and Sunrise Grill by the reviews was THE place to go. I was excited. Until I was ignored for like 10 minutes standing in the middle of the diner looking around as to whether it was seat yourself or there was a hostess somewhere. I finally got the attention of a server and sat myself. Then waited about 10 minutes to be acknowledged again and order my drink. I attempted to order food right then and there since I was hungry and they were packed. I did not want to have to wait another 10 minutes for her to come back and take my order. But, that's what I had to do because she for some reason couldn't take my breakfast order then. When I received my meal, my hashbrowns tasted they were drowning in grease and my omelette, despite being packed with cheese and veggies, had no flavor whatsoever. I know this is a diner and not a 5 star classy brunch place, but I expected so much more. Thumbs down. read more

It is unclear if the restaurant is seat yourself? There were no tables when we walked in so we hung by the door. Another couple walked around us to the back just as someone was getting up and sat at a dirty table. We followed suit and sat at the next available dirty table but observed the wait staff cleaned up promptly and went to the door to get people waiting. Slightly disappointed in this breakfast joint and I'll tell ya why. We sat down quickly but was not served as quick. Once we were approached by the server we orderer two coffees two waters. Got two waters one coffee... everybody makes mistakes no big deal. Asked the wife how the coffee was while waiting for mine.. she replied not tasty nor strong. That's a big deal to me. Bfast place with weak not tasty coffee is not cool. The restaurant was unbelievably loud. We couldn't hear eachother and everyone else seemed to be yelling ( idk why) the food was good but the portions not as big as the pictures look. I didn't take the usual pic bc I honestly wanted to get out of the loud place and I was hungry from waiting. There are alot of breakfast places in and around this area .. The food was great, it came out fast and was delicious. The service was terrible however. We had a dark haired lady and she basically disappeared after taking our order. If it wasn't for the pregnant server, maybe her name was Kathy, we wouldn't have gotten a drink refill or our food at all. Then after we paid, on the way out the door we could see her openly smoking in the back of the kitchen. I thought that was illegal, but it explains her lack of service. If we come back we will ask for Kathy as she was great. But maybe we will try their other location instead as we are pretty close to both. read more

I ordered food for lunch and picked it up and went back to office . i ordered a burger well which i get all the time and it was so well done and so burnt i couldn't even bite into it, the bun was hard as a rock and I asked for swiss and received swiss . i was not able to even eat it so I threw it out . that was a waste of $7.91 of my hard earned money . We went here for breakfast for the first time seeing it is always so busy. I really don't know why. I had the corned beef hash or rather I had half a bite and about gagged. Straight out of a can... so salty... tasted like warmed up dog food. When it was quite obvious I wasn't happy with it, the waitress didn't even acknowledge it. When I asked for a side of bacon, I got to pay 2.89 for 3 cold pieces. My daughters sandwich was okay... and the chips were pieces of broken up Ruffles. Coffee was worst I've ever not had... couldn't get it down... only had sweet-n-low and I couldn't put enough sugar to make the hot dishwater go down. There are so many better places in area.
