We stopped in for the first time and our breakfast was great. The waitress was friendly and on point with service. The place is clean and bright giving a fresh ambiance. I had the Crepe Breakfast which had 2 Crapes (Fresh Strawberries and Banana slices, 2 Eggs over easy (cooked perfectly) and delicious sausage paddy's. My partner got biscuits & gravy instead of crepes. We both give it a big thumbs up. We will be back.

The atmosphere is laid back and very friendly! The staff is friendly and makes you feel like home! The food..... amazing and fresh! I git the special which was eggs Benedict with home fries with onions, mushrooms and peppers... the eggs were perfect and the homemade hollandaise was very tasty. The home fries were delicious! The Crepe was made to perfection with fresh strawberries and bananas. Filled with a whipped cheese and was fluffy with a tang from cheese with a bit of whipped cream...very delicious and satisfying! The eggs cooked to a perfect over easy and the sausage pattys are full of flavor! Do enjoy coming here because it's laid back and you feel like you're at home!

Every bite was packed with perfectly cooked meat and melted goodness. You know it's good when you're already planning your next visit before you even finish eating. Honestly, this place should have a line outside its door!!! If you haven't tried the Prime Melt yet, you are seriously missing out. My sister had The Downtown which is a Pastrami sandwich. It was also a 20 out of 10 for taste! I'm from California and can't wait to go back when I come back!

Meat is fresh and Service is great. I wasn't sure what I wanted on one of the meats and sliced it for me and let me taste it just to see if it was something I wanted to invest in. I cannot imagine going to another meat market for my cold cuts now that I've experienced their customer service. Their hours are verified online, but it's easy to park and run into them at the corner. While I was there, I noticed several people came in to get sandwiches and their Service was friends and multiple people were saying how much they liked it. They have a few tables indoors as well as outdoors where you can sit different sandwich and have something to sip on as well. Nothing fancy here, but definitely delectable.

The Southern burger was great, but I tossed off the raw onions as I absolutely hate them, and added the lovely pickled onions from my wife's salad, which gave the perfect amount of flavor and color. Don't you agree? Give me a LIKE if you do !!! The crepe was next level. Delicate crepe, very soft ripe bananas, sauce was not disgustingly sugary, and the vanilla ice cream was smooth and soft, not icy and sweet. Dunno what brand they use, or if they churn the cream fresh in-house, but it made my day.

Driving back to Georgia after a visit to the mouse and wanting to limit our exposure to the I-4…read moretraffic, we drove through the charming town of Mount Dora. There are lots of delightful restaurants there (according to yelpers) but many were located downtown and parking was hard to find so we decided to go to Fifth Avenue Streatery since we had driven by and there was lots of parking. All of which the tables are outside on a charming patio with lots of interesting decor. It was 11:30 so the day was pleasant and sitting outside was fine. Not sure how I would feel about that in August. Our waitress was Haley (guessing at the spelling) and she was bubbly and very attentive. The menu wasn't overwhelming and I always think that's a good sign that most of the food is being prepared fresh and not pulled from a freezer. My mom ordered the fish sandwich with tomato and cucumber salad. After ordering the Italian Haley said they were out of beef until the owner arrived so I went for the day's special which was a seafood basket: two pieces of fried fish, four huge shrimp and clam strips. Clam strips are not my favorite but these were very crisp and tasty. It was served with fries and cold slaw. We both agreed the food was very good. I asked for some cocktail sauce and after a few minutes she came back with saying she had to make some. It was fantastic, very horseradish forward which I loved. I am glad we couldn't locate our first two choices since we got to eat at this funky little place and have the best server in all of Mt. Dora.

I think I also had high expectations since they have been awarded some accolades as well. It's located in downtown Mount Dora, which is a very cute are. It's walkable and there's some parks on that road. We got there, it is an opening seating arrangement and a small restaurant. It was really cute and they have wine slushies and I wish I could have had some of those. I got a regular smash burger with truffle parm fries. It was definitely on the more expensive end of food. The burger was not really a true smash burger, but it was fine. I would rate is a 7/10. The truffle parm fries were an 8.5/10. It was definitely made well, I just think I wish both items had more flavor to it. The truffle parm fries felt like it used truffle oil, which is fine, but I couldn't taste it strongly. I could smell it, but not taste. The burger, I just wished was actually smashed into the griddle where it gets really crispy. I will say the customer service was excellent. They misheard my partner order an extra patty and they brought it out to him immediately. Otherwise, they have a lot of sauces and other little things to place on the burger, so maybe that's why they keep it more basic. I did not see all that till after I already ate the whole thing. Overall, I think it's good and an 7/10 restaurant. I'd like to come back and try it again to get a better opinion of it.
