My cold beer arrived, along with the Edamame and the Gyoza. The Edamame was fine, and this is the second time I ordered the Gyoza; they were bland, typical frozen Gyoza- I won't order them again. The Tuna Roll came, and it was pretty good, especially for a Ramen place. The main courses arrived, the Ramen soup. While the noodles and the broth aren't Japanese Ramen House quality, for Mount Dora, it is pretty good. The place was busy both nights we went, and the service was friendly and quick- no complaints at all. I will definitely come back if I want a hot bowl of Ramen noodles!

It consisted of several comfortable sofas on one side of the room, a few high top tables alongside a bookcase wall, and the attractive dark wood bar that could accommodate about 8 people. I was led to a high top table next to a wall of bookcases with all types of interesting literature, from novels to Encyclopedia Britannica. Almost immediately after sitting down, I was greeted by my server "Bre". She gave me a menu and took my drink order - coffee ($3), black, and a glass of water, TYVM. She returned within a few minutes with my coffee and water. The coffee was very good. For an appetizer, I decided to try their Irish Whiskey Onion Soup ($8), and for my main course, I went with their Cashew Chicken Montagu Sandwich ($15). A free shuttle is even offered on weekends. Justin is a great server, and take a moment to meet Nikki the owner, who is behind the fresh ideas. The chicken Marsala is delicious, as is the turkey (which uses house roasted whole turkeys). The pulled pork is tender and while I haven't tried it yet the spaghetti and meatball sandwich is next on my list. That sample alone confirmed we'd made the right choice. Because of the festival, the menu was limited, but I ordered a bowl of the clam chowder and a grilled shrimp skewer. The chowder was easily one of the best I've ever had, comparable to an incredible bowl I once had at Pike Place Market in Seattle. The shrimp skewer was also very flavorful and perfectly cooked.
