    Southwest Chicken Panini

A local recommended this spot to us and I'm so glad we decided to try it! We were looking for a casual lunch spot and this place really exceeded our expectations. We ordered the southwest chicken panini and truffle fries. It was SO good. You order up at the front and they bring the food to you. They also have both indoor and outdoor seating. The vibe is super casual so it's perfect for a quick lunch. The service was also great! This is the place to come to if you're wanting good fries and sandwiches/burgers!!! We will be back.

This is our go-to restaurant in Mount Dora, that is, if Goblin Market is closed. Customer Alert: the Goblin Market is closed on Monday and Tuesday. Our visit to the Salted Fry was excellent as we each had chicken fingers. It was a hot day so we remained on the interior with full AC. When you get the fries, I definitely recommend to get them loaded as it really enhances the experience and makes them almost a full meal. My wife and I could probably could have split just one of these meals and we would've been satisfied. Nice customer service and greeting as well. This is one of the only restaurants in Mount Dora, that caters to gluten, dairy and egg-free guests.

My friend Mat and I decided to stop here right before they closed. They close at 4 PM. He got a sandwich with a root beer. The sandwich that got was a BLT here at this place everything including the bread is gluten-free. We ordered at around 3:40 and our food was to our table by 345. My friend Mat is really enjoying the sandwich and his fries. My gluten-free nonalcoholic spicy margarita is also very nice. The ambience reminds me of a little mom and pop shop with sandwiches and salads and all the options for gluten-free individuals, but also great food quality. 10/10 This is located off of O'Donneli Street in Mount Dora .

We drove three hours to eat here - it was worth every single minute and every single penny. 100% gluten-free. Full of flavor ample seating inside and out super friendly employees and just wow every single thing is gluten-free. Every single thing is delicious.

Stopped in on a super hot day. Had truffle fries and the frozen wine. There is red or white. Also they can layer it together. We did the combo and it was delicious! One of the best drinks we had in Mount Dora. Fries were also a hit. Plenty of truffle oil and parmigiana cheese. Service great. Restaurant clean. Definitely a must try.

Okay WOW! These fries are INCREDIBLE! While I didn't visit the brick and mortar, I was lucky enough to stumble upon their food truck in Sanford. Inside the food truck, there was a mountain of fresh-cut fries and I instantly knew they would be delicious. I ordered just a plain fry with three different dipping sauces. The fries were hot, crispy yet soft and they had the perfect amount of salt. Not only did they look fresh, but they tasted fresh. It's rare for fries to have a "wow" moment, but these were the best fries I've ever had. The man at the window that took my order was also so nice and patient while I asked him questions. I'm looking forward to visiting their brick and mortar next time I'm in Mount Dora.

Honestly I have been three times to this establishment, and after this final time, I don't think I'll be returning. The first time I came it was a busy night in Mount Dora. I got a ham and cheese sandwich with fries for about $21, and it was very underwhelming and did not (in my opinion) justify the price. The second time I came I placed my order and after I finished placing it was told "oh we just turned the ovens off actually and we are now closed. I came in at 3:57, not knowing they closed at 4 and was allowed to order before anyone said anything about being closed. It was quite awkward. Finally, I went one last time because I kept hearing from people how good this place was. They were short staffed and the food took a while to come. I'm alright with waiting a little bit as long as the food is good. My mushroom Swiss burger had four little mushrooms on it and the patty was dry and under seasoned. The poutine had four cheese curds and though the fries themselves were good, everything else lacked again and did not feel worth the $23 I spent. I feel I have given this business multiple opportunities to make it right but it's just not for me. I would say maybe try the fries but nothing else there.

I had seen their food truck but didn't get to try them so I went into their location and it was worth the drive! I didn't know what to get and I asked the cashier what she recommended. So, I got the pastrami sandwich and a side of fries!! For their fries they have a little bar of different flavor seasonings which I thought was pretty cool! They have great indoor and outdoor sitting! I sat outside and I just love the small town feel! A few people passed by and si told them they had to try it

What a nice little restaurant. I'll be honest after a morning of walking around geocaching for hours , any restaurant who's door pulled open? I was going in.. I didn't know it was a gluten free restaurant and honestly didn't care, I was so hot and thirsty . The burger and fries were very tasty and although I had wanted a Diet Coke, I served myself Powerade mixed with lemonade. Multiple times. On our way out, we were invited to refill our cups again . That was nice.

This place was absolutely delightful! My sandwich was so incredible and the fries were cooked to perfection. Plus, everything is gluten-free! The service was kind and efficient. Although it was more of a chillier day and we all were eating inside, they were able to accommodate the lunch rush to ensure everyone could enjoy their food inside without having to bear the cold. If you were stopping through or staying in Mount Dora, this place is a must.

Definitely a new favorite! Went twice in the last week. First time got a burger and poutine, second time got a Reuben and fries. Also enjoyed the wine slushy which was delicious and refreshing! Staff was incredibly nice, very helpful at the counter when we ordered and asking if we needed anything when delivering our food. Decor is cute, love the little mice in the holes!

What a cute little spot! My husband and I had lunch here during our visit to Mount Dora. It's a nice and inviting place. You order your meal at the counter and take a number to your table. The service was great and fast. The burgers and fries were really good. We went during the holidays so it was decorated really cozy as well!

Wow! What an amazing meal!!…read more I arrived on a Sunday afternoon at 12:30pm, and unbeknownst to me, had just beaten the rush hour crowd that was lined up out the door when I left at 1:30pm! This place is a cool, converted house. I was led through the downstairs dining area, up the stairs to the second floor, through the second floor dining area, and into an adjoining room - the "Bar". This was one cool room. It consisted of several comfortable sofas on one side of the room, a few high top tables alongside a bookcase wall, and the attractive dark wood bar that could accommodate about 8 people. I was led to a high top table next to a wall of bookcases with all types of interesting literature, from novels to Encyclopedia Britannica. Almost immediately after sitting down, I was greeted by my server "Bre". She gave me a menu and took my drink order - coffee ($3), black, and a glass of water, TYVM. She returned within a few minutes with my coffee and water. The coffee was very good. For an appetizer, I decided to try their Irish Whiskey Onion Soup ($8), and for my main course, I went with their Cashew Chicken Montagu Sandwich ($15). My soup arrived and the "eye appeal" was only surpassed by the amazing taste! Caramelized onions, Irish Whiskey broth, and with Swiss and mozzarella cheese, this was absolutely, no doubt in my mind, The Best Onion Soup I've ever had!! I was just hoping no one was watching me eating it as it was a bit challenging with the long onions, but truthfully I didn't care because it was so good! My Cashew Chicken Sandwich arrived next, and with a dreadful feeling of an impending "let down" after such an amazing appetizer, I was just blown away after taking a bite of this masterpiece! Perfectly cooked, moist chicken breast with a cashew crust, brie mornay, cranberry-apple relish, on a brioche bun! Did you all see the photo I posted? Just Amazing!! So, after two home runs in a row, I'm thinking to myself, Who can come up with such amazing combinations? I mean seriously, What type of Mad and Brilliant Chef do they have working in the back kitchen?! Ha! (I'm sure the Chef isn't "Mad") I've hardly mentioned the Service, but Bre constantly checked on me, refilling my water twice, and my coffee three times, all the while asking me how I was enjoying my meal. The service couldn't have been any better. My only regret is that I had absolutely no room for dessert and I know it must be excellent Take this to the bank, For one of the best meals you can experience, come to The Goblin Market Restaurant! You can thank me later. 5+ Stars!! Hours of Operation: Monday Closed Tues-Thur. 11am-9pm Fri-Sat. 11am-10pm Sunday 11:30am-3:30pm
