Delicious food. Since moving here from Central NY I've missed the ability to get quick but good Lebanese food. The owners were on site and the family run business reminded me of my former husband's place. Even their last names are similar except for the additional letter ( Jabour vs Jabbour) While seating could be difficult during busy times, we were given a 4 too near Small Bites. This location has several small pop up restaurants that can meet the need of several people looking for different cuisines. I look forward to visiting again. read more

I had the Chicken Shawarma. I am not new to Middle East food. I actually love the spices and flavor! Unfortunately, this meal had none of that flavor that I love. It was like eating grilled chicken over Rice A Roni on top of iceberg lettuce, tomato and pickles. It just didn't do it for me! The ambiance was great though. I did get a beer. Great customer service, generous portions, and a great menu at Beirut Bites. I ordered the Chicken Tawook platter and it didn't disappoint. The two skewers of chicken were well seasoned and the hummus was excellent. The pita and rice were average, but I departed with a full belly and leftovers. I would eat here again. read more

Authentic and delicious! The best tabbouleh we've ever had! Beirut Bites is tucked into the MarketPlace, where you can order your food and go find a seat outside. There is ample seating on the street and tucked into between two buildings. While the people were very friendly, the food was the star today. Everything is house made and fresh! The vegetarian platter is more than enough for two people to share. It arrived on two plates! Save room for dessert. Beirut Bites serves baklava and tucked around the corner is Beirut Sweet Bites, offering many delicious looking treats. Just had this restaurant for the first time tonight and it was sooo good! I ordered the gyro, my husband ordered the steak shawarma (sorry didn't get a pic of his) the owner, Ray is the sweetest ever! Will definitely be back. His daughter also just branched out and opened her own Dubai chocolate in the back towards the crepes. We have ordered the Dubai chocolate with strawberries, it was TO DIE FOR. Sooo good too! Beirut bites is our favorite place to grab a quick bite in downtown Mount Dora. The owner and team are very kind and helpful for those who may be new to Lebanese cuisine. The space is small with lots of foot traffic but we are usually able to find a place to sit down and enjoy our tasty meal. Favorite go to options are their grape leaves and Kafta kabob sandwich. I've passed by this place so many times, and still haven't had a meal here but it's on my list! But I was walking through after eating somewhere else and saw they have Dubai chocolate and I HAD to try it. It was sooo good. Crispy pistachio filling, with delicious chocolate. They also had a cup full of strawberries that they would drizzle with the Dubai chocolate, similar to the one they have at the borough market in England. I've been into the Mount Dora Marketplace a good handful of times, but never saw Beirut Bites. I had stop in for lunch. They were super nice and helpful and I decided on the Kafta sandwich in a pita. I ordered it with an app of baba ganoosh bc that is always my favorites Loved both of them and they made for a great lunch. I also had a bunch of baba ganoosh left which will be a tasty snack later. Since it's located in the market, you will find a small stand where they are across from the mimosas and dole whips, right across from them is a BBQ place and down the hall you will find Colombian arepas and crepes. Went here today with a friend who wanted Lebanese food. The food here was authentic. She is Lebanese and was very satisfied with everything. The person took our order and we went and had a seat and he came around and dropped off everything that we ordered piping hot. Extremely tasty and very flavorful. It is located in a food court, so they are plenty of little cubbyholes to sit down and enjoy your food. Places is always clean and some days it is just very full. We were visiting Mt Dora for the Sunday farmers market. It's a cute town. We stopped in Beirut Bites for baklava. I wasn't expecting much, but I've been on a search for authentic baklava. Most of the time, these days, all I taste is oil and corn syrup. This baklava tastes like butter and honey. This is what baklava is supposed to taste like. The people working there are so friendly. Whenever we come by the area, I will stop there for baklava and Dubai Chocolate, which is also exceptional and runs circle around any of the Dubai Chocolate I've had so far. We got the Beirut platter which included 2 Falafels which were moist and delish 1 Chicken skewer 1 Beef skewer Pita slices for the following which are made fresh daily: A fantastic homemade Hummus A homemade Baba ghanoush made with a roasted eggplant finely chopped, olive oil, lemon juice & Caio's seasoning. A homemade Tabbouleh-finely chopped parsley tomatoes, onion with a olive oil dressing salad Yummm! All is great dipped in the Garlic Aioli! And it included Baklava for desert.
