    Chicken Tawook Platter

Great customer service, generous portions, and a great menu at Beirut Bites. I ordered the Chicken Tawook platter and it didn't disappoint. The two skewers of chicken were well seasoned and the hummus was excellent. The pita and rice were average, but I departed with a full belly and leftovers. I would eat here again.

All I can say is WOW! From the customer service to the flavor in these Dubai desserts, Sweet Beirut Bites is a must stop for your sweet tooth cravings. They have more than Dubai sweets though - they have multiple flavors of mini cakes, cheesecakes and pastries too. Definitely a must do when visiting Mount Dora!!

Beirut bites is our favorite place to grab a quick bite in downtown Mount Dora. The owner and team are very kind and helpful for those who may be new to Lebanese cuisine. The space is small with lots of foot traffic but we are usually able to find a place to sit down and enjoy our tasty meal. Favorite go to options are their grape leaves and Kafta kabob sandwich. Their Hummus and Tabbouleh are out of this world as well! Writing this review now has me ready to order some for lunch. Mmmm!

Only got the sandwich... the desserts hear look good but at leas the sandwich was just alright. Great service, but food was a little cold and the wrap felt very dry. Hummus was good tho!

I've passed by this place so many times, and still haven't had a meal here but it's on my list! But I was walking through after eating somewhere else and saw they have Dubai chocolate and I HAD to try it. It was sooo good. Crispy pistachio filling, with delicious chocolate. They also had a cup full of strawberries that they would drizzle with the Dubai chocolate, similar to the one they have at the borough market in England. The woman behind the counter was so nice as well. Definitely coming back for some food and some more chocolate!

Located in a market with various restaurants, this small business is bursting with flavor, inwas blown away by every bite. There is limited seating at their bar but plenty of seating in various locations and they will bring your meal to you. Highly recommend.

I've been into the Mount Dora Marketplace a good handful of times, but never saw Beirut Bites. I had stop in for lunch. They were super nice and helpful and I decided on the Kafta sandwich in a pita. I ordered it with an app of baba ganoosh bc that is always my favorites Loved both of them and they made for a great lunch. I also had a bunch of baba ganoosh left which will be a tasty snack later. Since it's located in the market, you will find a small stand where they are across from the mimosas and dole whips, right across from them is a BBQ place and down the hall you will find Colombian arepas and crepes. Check them out at the Mount Dora marketplace for quick and yummy Lebanese food. They will definitely welcome you!

The restaurant is located inside the Downtown Mount Dora Marketplace. Such a cute area. I'm so gladdest we stopped here. Everything was absolutely delicious. We came right before closing and they were still happy to serve us. (The hours on Yelp were wrong) We most definitely be back and soon!

I love this little place. Went for a snack of hummus and shish tawook. Both were amazing. I wish I was still in town to get more.

Great food, very little wait time. Very cool that you can order food at one place, and drink from another all while sitting in the AC!

Saw this Lebanese restaurant and jumped on it! It's in a strip mall but nice inside with some lovely photos and artwork from Lebanon. Tarek our server was so pleasant and helpful as we were deciding what to have for lunch. We both chose a combo platter and he recommended the salad and a delicious eggplant moussaka (Lebanese style, not Greek). The pita bread served with the meal was fresh and hot and the hummus was amazing (we judge all hummus to see if it stands up to the one Cafe Rakka in Hendersonville, TN serves and this one came close!). The lamb and chicken were both perfectly cooked and spiced - so delicious! Hubs had a wonderful Moroccan green tea. Tarek surprised us with a taste of the baklava and the basbousa - both were excellent - I had not had basbousa before. It is a semolina cake soaked in a sweet syrup - my new favorite middle eastern dessert. Honestly, we would drive here just to eat lunch again.

A little hidden gem. I had the vegetarian platter with baba ghanoush, hummus, bread, salad, falafel and tabouleh. It was fantastic! The flavor was there! The portions were great, and it's definitely something I would order again! I guess got the soup and cheese bread combo, which was delicious as well !! The service was very good. It's run by a family, and they're very sweet and kind and took very good care of us. When the restaurant was dead, except for the staff, but it was lovely with music in Arabic. I will definitely be back!

We ordered our food to go and it took a short 15 minutes to complete- big kudos to that since we ordered a good amount of food. Now for the food- wowza for flavor! Everything was fresh, bright, and not lacked depth. We got the mixed shawarma platter (I could bathe in that hummus and oil), falafel platter, a shawarma wrap, and the muhammara with cheese manoushe. I recommend every single item. Their sauces were all homemade and hot sauce had the perfect flavor to heat ratio. The wrap was crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth on the inside. The falafel was seasoned perfectly and the mixed shawarma was very tasty. My only knock was that the shawarma could have crisped up more but that's not surprising given how busy they were. All in all a great spot that will leave your belly full and happy with plenty of leftovers!
