Mia wasn't available this time, but Jailene picked up right where she left off and carried the torch beautifully! What an amazing server! When you can laugh, smile, and crack jokes on both sides of the table--server and guests alike--it's no longer just dinner. It's a memorable evening! And the food? HOT! I'm talking STEAM coming off the plates! I ordered the blackened salmon with potatoes and broccoli. My wife enjoyed the shepherd's pie. And those cheese bollocks? WOW! Absolutely delicious! They have a tube rental truck where we rented our tubes for the lazy river over at Rock Springs. We stopped in for a few beers and a quick bite after tubing. Immediately the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. Chill, relaxed and easy going. Our bartender was a lovely chatty woman, serving with a smile and great recommendations for what we should do next. We ordered food & drinks and played some tunes on their touch tunes jukebox box. We amused ourselves with the customary message on a dollar bill tapped to the roof activity. The food came out crisp and hot. Fries were excellent! Wings juicy. Chicken tenders fried perfectly. They are a beer and wine establishment. No hard liquor. An elderly gentleman man, who we assumed was the owner, came over to say hello to us and was very pleasant also with recommendations for our next adventure. The soup was up first, and it was delightful- nice, hardy chunks of onion without being too big/sliding off my spoon, a well developed broth, and a fantastic amount of cheese. The sandwich was lovely, great slices of turkey and decently sized pieces of brie and apple to go along with it. Unfortunately, when I went to get the second half of my sandwich, I noticed what looked like a dark beard hair on it.... as I was dining alone, and my long hair was tied up, definitely not mine. I called over my server, and I pointed it out to her... she asked if I wanted to have a new sammie or get it taken off the bill. I asked if I could pay for the soup, since I had finished it, but not the sammie and she absolutely agreed to that. I wrapped up my meal and left to keep going on my day. Everywhere has issues occasionally, but this was handled well, so I will mention it, and I do knock off a star for this visit, but I am still willing to try again if I am in the area.

She is drunk, belligerent and LOUD. Her ranting about what has been going on in her bar is entertaining for awhile (?), but gets old. I won't go in if I see her car there. FYI- there are video cameras in operation. As posted on the doors: by entering you agree to being videoed. And the cameras are not just for security; the owner monitors them like it's her personal soap opera. So don't be surprised if you're the topic of her drunken rants. It's uncomfortable to hear her bashing people who aren't there. The positives are the local pub vibe. It's a tavern in a small town and it's got a 'everyone knows your name' feeling. All the bar staff are friendly (amazing since they work in a fish bowl!), but I give special recognition to Miss Kim. She is hands down the sweetest person I've seen working behind a bar.
