We have tried a lot of them and most are very tasty. Our favorite so far was a Hawaiian lumpia (like spring rolls) food truck. They are very dog friendly. People not only bring their own fur kids but will take a dog out of the shelter for a few hours and bring them out. It's very heartwarming. Inside is clean. It's really chilly for us so if it's not raining we tend to go outside. There is frequent live music as well. You can find lineups on their Facebook page. Bartenders are very knowledgeable and nice!

My husband got a barrel aged beer...something called Driving my nuts. It was rested in Buffalo trace bourbon barrels, and while the buffalo trace is not very pronounced, you still get the flavor, especially after it warmed a little bit. I opted for the Irish red ale, which was incredibly good had the super sweetness when you first take a sip, very caramel tones and notes, but then mellow is very quick.

Seemed very uninviting. Lastly, I noticed this place finally had in house food. So we scanned the menu and ordered. There was only one person at the bar and one other table at the brewery. We figured, since it said "Table Number 5" they bring out the food order (like Dade City Brewing). Nope, the guy just yelled across the brewery for me to come over. Which, whatever that's fine. However, I ordered a pizza from the place in the brewery. It was the most unappealing and disgusting pizza I've ever had in my life. It was clearly a low-end store bought frozen pizza that was burnt and hard as a rock. Tasted absolutely disgusting and wasn't even cooked evenly. This was worse than gas station pizza. We only ate one slice and threw the pizza away. Absolutely nasty and such a waste of money. Again, we definitely won't be back. From service, or general professionalism from the bartender to completely awful pizza - the overall experience was 0 out of 10. Sad to see since the brewery used to be great.

For my main plate, I chose the chicken wings (10 for 17 dollars), half fat rabbit sauce (quite garlicky) and other half siracha. While the wings were not breaded, they were still fried. It was definitely crispy, but still meaty and tender. The sauces were flavorful, and the siracha had the right amount of heat. The ranch dressing was homemade and so good, I ended up drinking it. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. The Fat Rabbit pub provides great casual bar food in a social atmosphere. The indoor dining is large enough to feel comfortable, and outdoor seating is also there if you want to enjoy with your dog. The outdoor space is beautiful and relaxing, while the inside is just as comfortable and inviting. And it's not just a restaurant--it's also a brewery! We had the pleasure of meeting the head brewmaster, Tim, who comes from three generations of brewers. He was classically trained in the Reinheitsgebot tradition and spent about 20 minutes talking with us about the passion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail he puts into creating their beers. It was such a cool experience! And the food... absolutely incredible. Jose ordered the chili--which I swear had an entire zoo in it! We also shared the ribs, and they were phenomenal.
