We have tried a lot of them and most are very tasty. Our favorite so far was a Hawaiian lumpia (like spring rolls) food truck. They are very dog friendly. People not only bring their own fur kids but will take a dog out of the shelter for a few hours and bring them out. It's very heartwarming. Inside is clean. It was rested in Buffalo trace bourbon barrels, and while the buffalo trace is not very pronounced, you still get the flavor, especially after it warmed a little bit. It was clearly a low-end store bought frozen pizza that was burnt and hard as a rock. Tasted absolutely disgusting and wasn't even cooked evenly. This was worse than gas station pizza. We only ate one slice and threw the pizza away. Absolutely nasty and such a waste of money. Again, we definitely won't be back. There could have been more celery, but it was fresh and crispy. They only had one dessert, and unfortunately it wasn't homemade, so I passed. My bartender was friendly, but busy. She had a helper, but lots of patrons to serve. Yet, she was still very nice and helpful when needed. The vibe is social and casual. I would have thought they would have more USF students, but mostly locals who are enjoying a good atmosphere. Outdoor seating is available as well, and it looks like you can bring your pooch too. When it was time to check out and pay, I noticed they forgot to charge me for my drink. When I mentioned that, they told me not to worry about it. It was a very nice gesture from them. Parking here is easy as it is located in the Publix complex. There is also a Don Julio's and Bundt Cakes nearby for dessert too. This is exactly what founders John McGregor and Matt Thompson intended with their brewery. Both had corporate sales jobs and would escape to their respective garages to brew beer. This escape turned into a dream come true when the pair opened the doors to Escape Brewing Company in 2014! Over the years they have expanded their taproom and various spaces into the perfect set up for anyone and everyone to visit! Escape Brewing Company has three different spaces: the main brewery/taproom, a spacious patio area, and "The Collective" a space for cocktails and food. They have around six different food vendors that take up residency and offer a great dining experience! I had the pleasure of chatting with beertender Shauna, and hung out with a local named Michael.
