Perfect millennial vibes and delicious IPAs. Such a great selection of beer. Great service. 80s-90s TV shows playing on multiple TVs.

In town to enjoy the weekend. (1-5) Beer: 5 - I'm a hazy IPA lover, and this place delivers. Juice Lord was my favorite, and the Dark Messenger Porter was solid too. Bonus points for high ABV on most of the beers. Atmosphere: 3 - Bar area was decent, with some comfy-looking leather couches I'll have to test out next time. Service: 5 - Staff knew their stuff and gave quick, solid recommendations. Food: N/A - There was a food truck, but I didn't try it. Cultural/Political Agenda: 5 - Zero virtue signaling. No flags, slogans, or preachy nonsense--just beer, as it should be.

Great minimalist space with super friendly staff. Really great selection of IPAs. The best in Tampa area IMHO!

I don't know what magnanimous happenstance blessed breweries to allow dogs inside, but you sirs are ale right in my book ;) Hot Florida summer day, wanted to get out with the dog, but being that the outside is lava at 2pm, options were limited. Enter magnanimous brewery, easy street parking along Franklin, plenty of cool street art and a really cool patio to check out (see: when not lava). Inside was super inviting with loungy couches lining the walls, I saw not 1 but 3 other dogs equally lounging on the deliciously cool tile floor, everybody was vibing and chill, loved it. I got the, Bourbon Trail Brunch, Imperial Stout aged in Willett Bourbon Barrels for 13 months with Maple & Coffee added | 13% ABV.. it was delicious :)

Came here today based on a recommendation from a friend. The venue was nice had plenty of seats and gad a decent amount of people for a random weekday. The beer selection was good but a little pricey for the ones I like. Parking is a little dicey unless you get a small handful of spaces and i mean like 5 spaces every thing else around this brewery cost. My beer was good but not enough for me to traverse to the location possibly pay for parking and then pay $14 for a beer

Wonderful brewery in downtown Tampa. I was here soon after it first opened a year ago and it's only gotten better and better. I am an IPA fan, I loved After the Rain: an imperial double New England IPA. It has wonderful flavor. I also appreciate a tasty stout and Head of the Table, Pecan Pie Ale Aged Prichards Double Chocolate Bourbon Barrels for 14 Months and Conditioned on Florida Pecans and Vanilla Beans coming in at a lovely 12% ABV is phenomenal. The tasting room itself is a converted church. It's such a cool environment. There are several great murals on the wall and they have TVs throughout. They have great merchandise as well. There's a parking lot right next to the brewery.

We walked over from Armature Works to check out this place. It's a cool vibe inside and I like all of the comfy couch seating. Beers were not my favorite but I am not a fan of IPAs or imperial stouts. I had one of the light beers and it was pretty good. I like that they have the option of small pours so that you can have a small taste or try different ones.

Magnanimous Brewery is a hazy IPA lovers paradise! I for one am a hazy IPA lover and I have been here many times to have several flights of all the variety they offer. Amazing staff, amazing prices, love the dope logo of the brand and the merch. Highly recommend this spot to everyone in the Bay Area and all visitors. This is a MUST visit brewery and a Tampa staple!

    Love the logo!

This is a very fun brewery! The atmosphere is very relaxing and you can easily spend an afternoon here tasting great beer and chatting with family/friends. The beer is really, really good and we loved their sours and their IPAs (the Juice Lord series is great). They have lots of sports on TV, but thankfully the TVs are on mute, so you can watch, but not have to talk over the TV. There's plentiful water that you can get yourself (always a good thing for a brewery) and we loved coming here. There's limited free parking out in front, but they have paid parking behind the brewery (you need to download an app for it). It's a really nice brewery overall!

After BarrieHaus (terrible name, terrific brewery), this is my favorite brewery in Tampa. They managed to accomplish the impossible and brew many trendy and cutting-edge beers without resorting to goofy gimmicks (apricot milkshake marshmallow chocolate IPA anyone?) Everything I had on tap here was amazing. The location here is kind of challenging, it's right next to a busy road. However, it is housed in a converted church. It is gorgeous. Inside: there is cool, moody ambiance. Outside: tables for rambunctious quaffing of ale and lager. The real highlight though, is the pizza cart that is sometimes available: Essential Pizza. It is some of the best pizza I've ever had, and easily the best pizza in Tampa: https://www.yelp.com/biz/essential-pizza-tampa

Ask the Community - Magnanimous Brewery

Do they serve hard Cider here?

No, they do not have hard cider. They do generally have 1-2 sours on their menu.

    Do they serve food?

No, but they often have food carts!

    Are dogs allowed?

There is a small patio area outside, I'd call to find out rules on dogs inside as they brew right on location.

We've enjoyed their beers many times back home in New Jersey, so it was great to finally stop in. We only had the beer, so I can't comment on the food, but the beers themselves were excellent. Three different bartenders checked in with us during our visit, but only one seemed interested in any kind of conversation. The other two barely said a word, which made the experience feel a bit less welcoming than we expected. Overall though, the beer was fantastic and definitely worth the stop if you're in the area.

It sits just far enough from the heart of Ybor that the Cuban influence fades, and that's perfectly fine because this place leans fully into being a beer bar with food that matches the mood. Their board covers a wide range, from lagers and IPAs to Hefeweizen, porters and other malt‑forward brews, so it's easy to find something that fits your taste. With German‑style beer, a Bavarian pretzel feels required, and ours arrived piping hot from the oven with two mustards. The honey mustard was excellent, but the spicy mustard was the one that cleared sinuses. Pain, but the good kind, and absolutely delicious. It is a large, open space with a great stage, a solid dance floor, and plenty of room to spread out. The drink selection is also strong, so it is an easy place to hang out for a while. That said, there are a couple areas that could really use improvement. The biggest issue is the bathroom situation. Even with all the space, there are only two stalls and a couple of porta potties, which leads to long lines that can take over a huge part of the venue during busy times. It gets pretty chaotic. The food is another weak point. It is very basic and a bit underwhelming. Think overcooked beef or chicken tacos with generic chips and salsa. It gets the job done, but it definitely does not match the overall vibe of the place. If they put a little more effort into the bathrooms and food, this spot would be on another level.
