a frozen drink in a glass with a straw

Such a cute wine bar also with a large cocktail dejection and holiday drinks! Best part is you can walk around the entire krate conplex with your drinks! Would definitely recommend! Service is fast, just order and pay at counter and bar tender makes up your drink to go!

Quick service. And friendly staff. Many choices to pick from. This delicious frozen drink was perfect for a hot afternoon. I have to say it was a lot do I had to share. My sister had the grapefruit and a second flavor of Strawberry Rose. All was amazing. It felt more like a dessert.

    Nice ambiance

What a great first experience & I must say i was very impressed with the amount of alcohol inside my frose' drink. And the presentation was everything!

If you're a cocktail enthusiast and find yourself at the Krate Complex, Blush is a must-visit. With an impressive array of drink options at great prices, including $5 happy hour specials and $13 wine and slushy flights, it's a fantastic spot. Quick service adds to the experience--we got our drinks within 5 minutes.

    Never again.

Both bartenders that were working during my visit were extremely friendly and provided first class service. I'll go back again.

The atmosphere and clientele may feel very different from what some longtime Floridians expect. What stood out to me most was seeing so many women in hijabs, large family groups, and women sitting side by side deeply engaged in their conversations over coffee and desserts. As someone who has never visited a Muslim country, it was honestly a real culture shock for me. That said, the atmosphere felt warm, polished, social, and community-driven. People were relaxed, focused on their conversations, and genuinely present with one another instead of constantly looking around the room. It felt less like a quick coffee stop and more like a modern international gathering space. Florida keeps surprising me... and Sorbo gave me a glimpse into a side of modern American culture I simply haven't experienced before.

The food options on Happy Hour menu were very good, particularly the Quesadilla and Prime Rib sliders. My wife loved the arancini balls as well and shrimp tempura was solid. Happy Hour overall was a great option but wish it went until 6 (ends at 5:30, which is a bit early). We will definitely be back.

My wife and I were looking forward to our 1st dining experience at Coopers Hawk for our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately both the food and service were extremely disappointing. My wife ordered the filet mignon: 8 oz. Filet, Steak Butter, Crispy Onion Strings, Grilled Broccoli, Choice of Side 46.99 and I ordered Ellie's chicken piccata Lemon Butter Caper Sauce, Capellini Pasta 26.99 We both ordered glasses of wine with the meal - my wife ordered a red wine and I ordered the white wine they recommended to pair with the chicken piccata Neither wine came before our meal. When our meal was brought, there was still no wine yet. The server who brought our meals to the table asked if there was anything else we needed and I said-yes-the wine we ordered to come with our meal. 15 minutes later after after meals were brought--still no wine This is unacceptable at any restaurant-but for an establishment such as Coopers Hawk that centers everything around their wines this is ridiculous. When the wine was finally brought over 15 minutes later after our meals were brought they actually still forgot to bring my wife her wine and only brought mine. I told the server that it was too late and we did not need it anymore. The server clearly saw when she brought the wine that we were well finished with our meals already but did not offer any apology up-front and only after I said that "its too late" did she offer to take the wine off the bill. She did offer that she could still bring my wife's wine out and still take it off the bill and also offered to let me keep my wine and also take it off the bill but the damage had already been done at that point as it was over 15 minutes since we received our meals Now onto the food itself-very disappointing. Although my wife's steak was cooked perfectly as far as the inside of the steak-the steak itself had little to no seasoning and had no char on the outside. Outside of those 2 things - the quality of the meat itself was also disappointing. To give you an idea - the quality of the filet itself was less than the filet you would get at a Longhorn's steak restaurant which charges about 29.00 compared to $46.99 here - so you would expect at the very least it would at least be equal (or should be better) quality beef than Longhorns but unfortunately it was worse. The Chicken Picatta on the menu clearly says "Lemon Butter Caper Sauce" there were plenty of capers on the plate but outside of 2 lemons wedges on the plate for show there was absolutely no lemon flavor whatsoever in the dish. The chicken was cooked very well and was juicy but there was virtually no seasoning on the chicken at all and there was zero (0) lemon flavor. So again extremely disappointing. The restaurant is upscale and very nice looking and has a vibrant social atmosphere but when the service is bad, the wine doesn't come with the meal (and that is the theme of the restaurant-the wine), and the food is this disappointing it all adds up to a very bad experience which unfortunately also occurred on our special occasion-our wedding anniversary

I didn't go in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, was happy to get back in 2022...but the place had changed. There were very few beers on tap then, and the whole vibe was off in some hard-to-define way. It seemed dingier, dimmer, sadder. It even had a sort of weird, musty odor. I didn't return until I took a chance last week, right after Christmas--and the good Brass Tap back! The place was lively, well-lit, and while the tap list still isn't the monster from days gone by, it's nothing to sneeze at. (As far as I can tell, they have 30 taps; the Carrollwood location has 60, which is what I dimly remember at this location, too, last decade.) I don't know whether they had a management/ownership change in the interim, but it's a place I want to go back to again now. The Brass Tap doesn't serve food, and the BBQ place right next door that used to be run by the same folks shut down during the pandemic--but they have menus from Grillsmith, one of Wiregrass's other restaurants, there now. Unlike most beer-only bars, they've always had table service, and they've always been attentive. While it's a little too far for me to become a true "regular," it looks like a great place to go to with friends--or, if you're a misanthropic writer like me, to camp out with your laptop and have a couple beers while telling yourself you're working on a soon-to-be-bestselling novel.

A friend and I ordered the Japanese curry and short ribs, and both were disappointing. The portions were surprisingly small, and the curry tasted like a generic TV dinner that had just been warmed up. For the price, I expected much better. We actually ended up going next door to GrillSmith afterward because we were still hungry, which says a lot. That said, the wine selection was excellent, and the staff was very knowledgeable. If you're just looking for a great place to enjoy wine, this might be worth a visit. But if you're hoping for a full dining experience, I'd say skip the food and go elsewhere.

Tampa's First Korean Wine Bistro…read more When you visit Seoul, you will find many new trending Korean wine bars. I'm excited to be the first to tell you that you can now have that sweet Seoul experience here in Tampa‼ Perfect date night spot 미각 Migak, means "taste" and I was thoroughly shook when I tried the food and wine pairings at this cozy space off of Dale Mabry. The food here is so delicious, just like my time spent in Korea. Innovative dishes like Truffle Jajangttoek, my favorite so far. Korean owned and operated, the owners also own a few of these amazing food pairing wine bars in Korea, and the chef has also lived and culinary trained in France. They have their hand on the pulse of what is popular in Korea as well as the US. We are so lucky to have this establishment! You won't find anywhere else like this in Tampa Bay. I'm definitely coming back for dessert and to try more! The Migak sommelier is here to help you choose wines that will pair perfectly with the plates that you order. Check the menu online to see that the prices are shockingly low for the quality of food provided. If you are like me and don't drink really, then you can just visit to eat their delicious food. I loved EVERY dish I tried so far. 1 트러플 짜장 떡볶이 Truffle Jajangttoekbokki paired with Red - Rich truffle flavor paired with umami black bean sauce in this popular Korean fusion rice cake dish. Paired with Malbec. 2 골수 Bone Marrow - Not many places serve this dish in Tampa! The exquisite fatty flavors are emphasized by the fresh herbs used. A must-try. 3 Chicken Skewers - The plump, glossy bites of heaven are dark meat, fatty, glazed and tender. The tangy and slightly spicy sauce matches well with the fatty meat. Paired with Reisling. 4 명태전 Pollack Joen - Fried egg washed fritters, served with a side salad. A very popular dish in Korea. Sometimes whole restaurants just serve various joen as their main menu. Paired with Gruner. 5 불구기 쌈 Bulgogi Ssam - Premade lettuce wraps with just the perfect amount of toppings and sauces, as the chef intended. Paired with white burgundy. 6 카레 Korean Curry - Some say it tastes similar to the popular Japanese curry, but this curry is definitely in it's own category of yummy. As the only Asian food specialist that has written about specifically Korean cuisine and visted Korea multiple times, can speak, read, and write in Hangul --- Migak is my favorite Korean restaurant in Tampa Bay hands down. Keep them open. Protect them at all costs.
