I think they are drop 1/2 stars due to the raising of the price. It is a tremendous raise compared to my last visit. Most price is 20 to 25 percent raise. Even the side for the side salad and cup of chili needs additional fees. Food still good. But portions get small for salad. Taste of the food still there. But now they are compete with other restaurants that have better food with same price. Customer is less than usual in weekends. I am not sure they head to right direction for their new price. I will weight the price and lessen my visit due to other choice of restaurant is available with lesser price. read more

This place is okay. I ordered the boneless wings, half bbq and have raspberry chipotle. The bbq did not really taste like bbq and the raspberry really did not taste much like raspberry. The flavors were okay just did not really match their names. The bbq definitely did not taste bbqy though. The meat was a major let down as it was very fatty and I had a bite of gristle on the first one. Not good. The salad was good, loved the crunchy things they put on it and the ranch was really good too. The alcoholic beverage was not great. It was super sweet and did not have much kick. The kids meals looked good, we got one for 99 cents but apparently wings do not count as an adult meal so we paid in full for the other (it was not super pricey, which is good). I've been to Bubba's multiple times with my family and always have a great experience! The location is super convenient, right off I-75. We always have to start with the Crooked Fried Cheese. It's a must! Depending on the day, I'll go for the wings or pizza, or sometimes skip straight to dessert and get the Oreo Brownie Sundae. The food is always great, and with tons of TVs, it's also the perfect spot to watch your favorite sports teams! read more

Had a nice late afternoon meal at Bubba's 33 in Wesley Chapel. Our server was both friendly and informative. The restaurant was about 3/4 full at 4 in the afternoon. Plenty of TV screens and nice music playing. As for the food, it was excellent. I had a nicely prepared ribeye with a slew of mushrooms and onions atop. So good! We love coming to Bubba's but we didn't have enough time to sit down for a meal yesterday. We ordered a BBQ pizza, wings, and onion rings for pick up. We were disappointed. The pizza was over cooked to where it was burnt and hard to chew. The onion rings was something we've never ordered before but the batter looked completely different than what was advertised. Not crispy or thick at all, it was thin and almost see through. The wings is what is keeping my review from 1 star. The wings were great and they came with a few celery sticks. But might as well not given us any celery sticks bc the 4 pieces we received were the size of my pinky and as skinny as a pencil. Unfortunately, the Wesley Chapel restaurant seems to operate under a completely different set of standards. Visit One: Service was adequate, but food execution fell short. Our pizza and nachos arrived with burnt edges, the Chicken Parmesan Sub was assembled haphazardly (the chicken cutlet didn't even fit the bread), and the portion of tater tots was meager -- almost a garnish rather than a side. Visit Two: Service plummeted. A mix-up between raspberry preserves and raspberry chipotle sauce led to an unpleasant experience that quite literally made me ill. Instead of empathy, the reaction from the server was amusement -- an unforgivable display of unprofessionalism in any hospitality setting. Visit Three (The Deciding Factor): Returning weeks later, I found the dining room nearly empty on a Sunday evening -- three other families total. We placed our appetizer and entrée orders, only to be told mid-meal that they were out of the Monte Cristo sandwich -- the very reason we had returned. Being out of bread, lunch meat, and cheese at 7:30 p.m. is not a supply issue; it's a planning failure. To make matters worse, I was told they still had exactly two of the Club sandwiches available -- which share most of the same ingredients. When asked if sandwiches were made to order, our server hesitated before suggesting they might be pre-made. Whether that's true or not, the confusion and inconsistency didn't inspire confidence in the kitchen's standards. Our waitress was pleasant but inattentive. She spent more time chatting with coworkers in the service alley than tending to the dining room. A simple request for a side of ranch took nearly ten minutes -- not due to being busy, but distracted. We were her only table. No manager was visible or checked in during our entire visit. And finally, the atmosphere -- once a Bubba's highlight -- was marred by questionable entertainment choices. I was in the area and wanted food that wasn't there same old chain, and this establishment was a great decision. Menu has a nice variety from wings, burgers, pizza, etc to main dishes that include salmon and grilled chicken dish. There is also a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. Ambiance is very cool for a sports food/bar eatery. Service was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drink options. Pizzas were recommended and we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and a regular cheese pizza. They were both excellent and had a wood- fired taste; mmmm!!! The sauce was home made and the crust/shell was also very good/nice. The crust had a garlic butter baked in/on. Very satisfied with this selection of restaurant to give a try. Went last night, it was great! The Half order of onion rings was huge, and the best I've ever had. They were fresh not frozen premade. Crispy light batter and fresh juicy onions. Did not like their sauce so got some ranch dressing. Then we split a small pizza, again very good. Perfect size, sauce was nice and tangy, and thin, crispy dough. And surprisingly they had my favorite Pinot Grigio Ecco Domanti. Plus our waitress Melissa was nice and prompt. Will be back. read more

We have tried this restaurant many times and 9 times out of 10, there is a problem with our office to go order. This time, they forgot fries that were part of a boneless wing order. The raspberry preserves for the Monte Cristo was watered down. On top of that, my order was put in at 11am for 11:45 pickup. I got there at 11 46 & texted them i was there in spot 3. No one came out so 5 minutes later I texted again as it was put in for curbside pickup. Still no one came out. I finally went inside and they all looked at me like a deer in the headlights. They looked got me food and finally saw it sitting in the window waiting on them to process it for me. The restaurant was not busy yet so they're is no train why it should be that late. If there was a problem, they should have come out and told me. I did not discover the missing fruits until I was back at the office. I called and they offered to make us a few orders of fries. At that's point, my lunch break was done and I could not go back. The person that answered the phone said they would credit my card for the fries and o still don't see the credit yet. When first entering we were greeted by the hostess who sat us down immediately. We were seated in a big comfy booth by the bar where they had country music playing and felt homey. We ordered the Chorizo Queso and it was hot temperature wise and seasoning as well but a good hot nothing unbearable just good flavor. The kids ordered cheeseburgers and fries which were a good size for them and tasted great as well. My husband ordered the Sunshine burger which was pretty huge and stacked high. It was filling and all the flavors complemented each other. He didn't eat for the rest of the day after that burger. I ordered the Turkey and Bacon sandwich and it was just ok. I found the turkey to be too dry and bacon & pickles were really salty. It tasted a little better once I dipped it in ranch and bubba sauce. Overall the service was great and the food was delicious except for my salty Turkey and Bacon Sandwich. First time visiting here. Definitely a sports bar feel. Not bad lots of seating and TV's in the bar area. There was a $12.99 pizza special that we ordered along with cheeseburger with seasoned fries. This was the first time we actually had a pizza with the dough actually baked and not raw! Still missing a more Chicago style pizza with a bit more of a crust. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. The seasoned fries were some of the best we ever had! We definitely had leftovers to take home. I was excited from stepping inside where just inside the doors, there's a ford mustang bench n the music was cranked up to fun tunes! At the bar they have fun bar stools which I got a kick out of. We were celebrating a hs graduation for my niece and Jessica was our service. She handled all 14 with ease. Friendly and fast. We ordered a cpl multi appetizer platters. Chz stick, pickles, chicken tenders, all delicious. We also ordered garlic knots which were awesome! We all ordered different entrees. One hot and one Garlic Parmesan and apparently if you don't specify to not combine on spicy wings with the spicy wings then they will combine in the same container. We got there at lunchtime and it wasn't very busy for a Friday which seemed a little strange, but once we left an hour later, it was busy interior was very similar to a Texas Roadhouse. Wife cut her finger on the door latch in the women's restroom and nobody seemed to really care since the owner wasn't there. Never apologize didn't offer a Band-Aid or anything. My burger was very good. WIFEs turkey sandwich was very good. They just need to work on a little more paying attention to the customers when there's an issue. The waitress did get busy with other customers and told me she was going to get my check ready and I had to remind her twice. DH & I stopped in as we love the burgers. This time we decided to try something new. We got a 12" Pepperoni Pizza & a Philly Cheesesteak. Being from Philly we thought for sure we wouldn't like the cheesesteak. We were pleasantly surprised as the sandwich had nice flavors. Close but not spot-on. The roll wasn't what we're used to. I ordered the loaded fries as my appetizer, philly cheesesteak, and sweet tea as my meal. The loaded fries are incredible and I will definitely be going back after 9PM to enjoy them 50% off! The philly is heavy and delicious. The sweet tea is what got me. I've never had such a tart tea. The color was yellow, yet the server insisted that it was sweet tea. This sounds like a joke, but the tea matched the color of the fries. I don't mind a fruity tea, but a sweet tea is distinctly dark in color and just sweet, not fruity. Came to Bubba's for a change of pace. I'm a huge sports fan and always looking for a place to watch the game with decent drinks and good food. We came here on a Friday night around 7pm and while Bubba's was busy there wasn't a wait which was great. Atmosphere: - Good for sports. Lots of tvs with a large bar and lots of comfy booth seating. - While the trivia did cost $1.99 it was a lot of fun and entertaining while waiting. Drinks: - The drinks were good; I got a triple crown marg with pink salt for breast cancer awareness month (nice touch). - The price point on drinks was average. Food: - The food was good old fashioned bar food with lots of pizza options. - We got a cheeseburger with fries, onion rings, and a cheese pizza. The onion rings were good but a tad bit salty; next time we'd ask for no seasoning. The burger was very good and the fries were delicious! Our server touted the pizza as being as good as NY pizza, not knowing that I spent 10 years in NYC eating pizza. While the pizza was good, it's not NYC pizza. Service: - The service was exceptional.
