This is my fourth time coming to Bubbas, and it continues to disappoint. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to hit our table after we ordered. The food was ok but a bit greasy, and the broccoli was under-steamed. Shelly was a fantastic server and was highly attentive. We love Bubba's! We used to visit the one in Greenwood IN as well as the one Clarksville IN when we live up there. I am in love with their side salad with the Crispy things on top. I actually look forward to a salad when I know we are going. The atmosphere is a bit loud with tons of TV's playing different things. We love watching the Chive TV. So don't go if your in the mood for a quiet meal. It has an elevated sports bar feel but the food is great! The Fish and chips are amazing, the chicken tenders are great, hamburgers are terrific. My husband loves the wings and the ribs. We have never had a bad meal at one of these. This one did not disappoint!!! Food and service were just as good as the others up north. As someone who legit loves juicy burgers and is always on the lookout this place is amazing. The burgers are awesome and juicy and fresh. Really great seasoned fries, both times we went the waitresses were super nice as well. Great staff. I had double cheeseburger it was a monster! 1lb of meat! Friend said fries were good. I had side salad which was very fresh and the dressing was delicious. They have over 20 TVs going. Went here to watch the last half of the FSU game and was pleased to find so many TV's with a great variety of teams. I order the small BBQ chicken pizza based on a review I had read about how good the crust was. I really really wanted the nachos but I was trying to keep my calories somewhat lower so even though pizza isn't low by any means-it's easier to bring home (I would want to eat most of the nachos !) the pizza was delicious; I've never had peppercinis on a pizza and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor they added. They switched my game before it was over so I did mention it to the manager since that was the entire reason I chose this restaurant and she quickly turned it back on one of the tv's which I greatly appreciated! I was impressed they offer a military discount so next time my folks are here I will take them because they love getting a discount for their many years in the service. Definitely a sports bar atmosphere so next time I can't get the game at home I'll visit them since it's very close to home for me. read more

Been here a few times now to time for a review. The atmosphere is fun, great wait staff as they will provide suggestion from the menu and tentative to your needs such as making sure your glass remains full. The menu has a wide range of items to choose from. More importantly the food comes out as order and presents well. We do like their wings and I really enjoy the blackened, blues burgers too. This place can get jammed with people during the typical peak hours so to avoid this if we know we are comg here for a meal we purposely will avoid the peak times. read more

Terrible management! Burnt bread on steak sandwich, still frozen onion rings! We were so looking forward to returning but it was terrible! Great food!!!! The pizza was good, a little heavy on the garlic salt (on a pepperoni pizza), but nice & crispy. The bacon cheeseburger is to die for. The food was excellent however the service was unacceptable. Our server thought it was much more important to hang around in the kitchen talking to her coworkers than attending our table. I was completely out of drink when our food arrived, this continued for 14 minutes at 2:45 in the afternoon (not busy at all), only after I spoke with the manager did I receive refills on our drinks. read more

Loved the food, from the huge menu, to the nacho supreme to main course to service was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing!

So our visit here started out rocky but key factors made up for it. The food and prices for everything were on point. Took the family to dinner (3 kids, wifey and I) with 1 app, several cocktails with entrees and total price was 160 before tip. Was pleasantly surprised. Had the bean dip app. It was good but they need to give you more chips. Everyone's entree was good and portions were large. The pizza was really good. Hard to find good pizza in FL and these guys have it down. Big win. Drinks and food took forever to come out but they all tasted good. Once they tighten up whatever's wrong this place will be amazing. read more

We visited about a month after opening on a Saturday and there was no wait. Really enjoy this place. Friendly wait staff, TVs everywhere, great food and lots of neat decorations. Check out my photos...the food not only LOOKS good, IT IS GOOD! As I noted in my burger picture, I could do the burger 2-3 times a week and be super happy. This place, its chefs and wait staff all do a great job at making this restaurant a destination for us. We live about 15 minutes away and pass plenty of good restaurants on our way to this one. Plenty of parking...great neighborhood...about two minutes from the Outlet Mall (on the other side of the interstate). Also nearby is the ice skating rink, so some fun things to do after lunch of dinner. read more

Decided to try this place since we've passed by a few times and wanted to try something new. Walked in and seated right away in the open bar seating. Took a bit but we were greeted by our servers -- 1 was in training. Took our drink orders which we ordered the American Pie Mule although disappointed that it wasn't served in a typical mule mug despite the picture in the menu being portrayed that it would be. When the drinks came we asked for straws which the waitress said she'd have to go get since she didn't have any on her. We waited and waited and nothing. We had to flag down another server to ask for straws. Server came to take our food order -- I ordered the shrimp with side of coleslaw and a salad. Hubs got the sirloin with chili and salad. We also ordered the onion rings as an appetizer. Onion rings were actually really good and something I'd definitely get again. Loved that the breading didn't fall off when I bit into the ring. The salad was just ok, I definitely didn't like the crispy shreds of onions on top. There were just way too many and it made it rather hard to mix the salad to eat it. Food arrived and my shrimp were really good...even the coleslaw was good. Hubs liked his steak however his chili never came. Our wait staff disappeared and never checked back in on us. After we finished our food and wanted the check at this point, we flagged down the server that was in training so we could get the to go boxes as well as get my hubs chili to go at this point. He ordered onions and cheese on top when placing the food order however when they brought the chili out in a to go container it didn't have those toppings. All in all, we did enjoy the food and would return with the hopes of better service. read more

First impression of Bubba's was with my call ahead experience. The person on the phone was very nice. Once I came in, the host stand was in huge disarray. It wasn't even the busy time compared to how it looked when I was leaving! There were about 3-4 people standing there, but they weren't really acknowledging the customers. The next big thing is there are tons of tv's. At least 30-40 tvs with different channels. The atmosphere is dark, loud, and sports bar like. Once I looked at the menu again, nothing really stood out. It's bar food plus they have their pizza, burgers, beer and apps, salads, and entrees. For drinks they had a big drink menu. I picked a $4 sangria margarita. It was pretty good! They did bring me the regular big size which was their mistake. I didn't pay extra for it. Food-wise, we didn't want burger or pizzas and observed they are on special on Mondays and Tuesdays! I picked the Stromboli to share. It was alright and I actually liked the ranch sauce on the side better than the marinara. This was not a huge Stromboli at all, but it was fine. Our server was ok. I don't think I would come back bc nothing really caught my attention. I will definitely stick with Texas Roadhouse whIch is across from them and has been long-standing and always dependable! read more

We found this place on Yelp and it was a pleasant surprise. Food was fresh, good portions and such variety. We got wings as an appetizer and they tasted fresh and flavorful not precooked. The hot sauce was on point as well. Entrees were fish and chips (I sub tater tots and broccoli) and my husband got a salmon salad. Everything was very good. Service was on good, very attentive and she even made suggestions which I asked her opinion. Whenever we get back to Tampa will definitely visit. Burgers in a sports bar atmosphere. The music is pretty loud, so this is not a good choice if you want to talk with your table companions. Because it was so noisy, I may not go back again. I ordered mine w/bacon. It was missing the bacon. Asked for it. As I ate the burger the outer edges were done. The middle was cold, pink, not done. Must have used a frozen patty & not cooked evenly. I was done with what I cared to eat of burger when bacon arrived. I did not complain about the undercooked burger but will not return there. read more

First time here & we were very dissapoiinted how they count out the hashbrowns. They told us they were portioned. Be aware when ordering hashbrown cause they give you very few & they will not add more unless you pay for extra but they will give you plenty of fries smdh. read more

Yesterday, I saw a notice on Facebook about grand opening for Bubba's 33 in Wesley Chapel. I thought since I was off, I could go. The restaurant officially open at 4 p.m. while waiting, there was some vendors in the parking for beer tasting & ice skating. Pretty cool!! There were 100 mystery pizza boxes with prizes inside. Super cute idea. When walking in, I met the managers & then got my beeper. Only had to wait for 10 minutes maybe. I was greeted by my waitress, Kailee who was super nice & friendly. I checking out the menu & noticed that on Mondays is a good night for burgers which is $7.99. For the appetizer, I got the garlic knots with marinara sauce and cheese sauce which was hot & good amount of garlic. For the main entree, I had the mushroom burger with fire fries. The fries had a little kick to it. Kailee brought some blue cheese dressing for fries for myself. The food was very good. I like interior of restaurant with the big TV screens. Music videos playing. This restaurant was enjoyable. I will be back. Unfortunately, I'm still having problems adding pictures. read more

We were originally headed to the outlets, but we decided to eat here before getting there. I heard good things about this place and I decided let's give it a try so upon entering, we were seated quickly, and our server took our orders hastily. He made recommendations on what to get and I decided I would try the South of the border burger. I ordered it rare and it came very quickly with their hot fire fries. The ranch dressing it came with was very good and the burger was actually very decent for a chain like restaurant, the burger was cooked perfectly and the cheese was oozing off of it. The restaurant was very clean and it had various sports memorabilia and trinkets for decoration. I think I will return to try one of their pizzas to see how it stacks up against there is in the area which I'm not too fond of. read more

On our first visit to this establishment looking forward to trying to wings and burgers. We were greeted by a very enthusiastic hostess who told us all about the restaurant! We were then also greeted by a server who then told us all about the restaurant! So they get extra points for enthusiasm :). We then ordered some wings with habanero sauce, a side of Mac and cheese, and a bacon burger without their special sauce as well as some regular fries. Our server tried to upsell us "adult beverages" and a larger order of wings. We had to politely tell him no twice, though I am sure he was doing as trained. To his credit, he asked about the special sauce specifically as I had told him about my food allergy. Great job there. About 30 minutes after our order, the manager came by and gave us a coupon for a free appetizer on our next visit and then apologized for the wait. We had not complained but we were checked on frequently and our drinks refilled. When our food did arrive, it was very good, but they missed our side of Mac --- this was corrected and the mac was decent. The burger was delicious, perfectly cooked, the bacon was perfect, the cheese and toppings very flavorful. I'd order it again, no question! The fries were also fresh and tasty. The Habanero wings were extremely hot, but the bleu cheese dip left us wondering what it was (is this ranch or bleu cheese?). The wings here was not as flavorful or savory as Glory Days, but are good. Clearly their kitchen was backed up due to staffing issues, it is also what we were told. All in all the food is very good, they have a nice bar and TVs everywhere. Sports bar meets the internet as they run ChiveTV and music videos, and sports. Clearly a lot going on there! I think it is a fun place, and look forward to returning. So, why 3 stars? The slow kitchen service is why. Perhaps I'm picky, but I always try to be fair. Other places like this have lower ticket times, and comparable prices. read more

My bf pointed out this spot during our drive and I am so glad we tried it out! We were greeted with happy employees and our server was amazing! She gave us a brief detail of what was popular on the menu and what they are known for pizza, beer and burgers! The chicken parm sandwich was AMAZING!!! Thick juicy chicken with a well blended sauce. Gave me bomb spaghetti vibes. The fire fries seasoning is super good! Has a little kick to them. The guacamole burger is a tower or meat! Just looks so delicious you almost dnt want to eat because of how well stacked this burger was! lil pizza (kid's menu) was a very well sized pizza for kids to enjoy. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out fast! For apps/starters, our group of 5 shared a full order of onion rings, and an order of loaded nachos. Both were excellent. For mains, most of us had burgers, and they were very good, cooked just right, and huge! (Two patties each). The fries were fantastic too. I also like places with the equipment where you can pay at the table when ready, so that was a plus. Nice job! read more
