They also have the traditional one which my husband ordered with ham and tomato. Both come with the amazing hollandaise sauce. It's so tasty and irresistible. The service is great. Very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to see Manny who's one of the owners who always was very personable. Definitely this is a must stop if in the area. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and ice cream and sundaes. They have booths and tables in a 50's like atmosphere. People also bring old license plates from where they are from. They cover the walls as decor.

You choose your sliced meat & toppings to build a sandwich. But, had you selected the hot bar, you may be charged by the weight. (You'll have to open your container because there's a base price dependent on what hot food item you selected.) Prices are quite fair. My spaghetti w/ a large banana & large diet soda rang up at $3.71. Yes, $3.71-- a quick hot meal for under $4! Two larger dinners totalled $8.00 each. There are 2 registers for checkout, although at times only 1 cashier is on duty. Any line moves quickly, though; hospital employees simply place their ID in front of a scanner & their transaction is complete. The lighting, dining area & connecting lounge are aesthetically pleasing-- the bold colors blend to create a very comfortable & relaxing place to eat (or just sit). The wide open concept lacks the accompanying anxiety of a traditional cafeteria. This is the first hospital cafeteria I've actually enjoyed patronizing. If you are visiting someone at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills (or FHZ, as it's now known), w/ such great prices & the varied selection there's little reason to lose your parking spot to drive nearby for the string of fast food & lackluster restaurants. It probably took 3-4 minutes. She went back through the door and came back to face me behind the counter. After a bit, an order slip was printed from a thing about a foot from the both of us. I emailed them and got apologies and an offer of a free one on my next visit. I did not have a chance to get that. Fine. But when I went through again yesterday, I ordered a Fillet-o-Fish meal with either a regular bun or steamed bun (MD has always said the buns for this sandwich were steamed) but this restaurant only uses toasted buns. But they did use a regular bun at least. But when I got home, the bottom bun was literally glued somehow to the bottom of the box. And then when I pried it out, it was as hard as a crouton like what you would put on a salad. I was fed up with this lack of quality. I drove back to the restaurant and tried for 10 minutes to get someone to come to the counter. When a girl came, she agreed it was very hard. She said she would redo the meal and give me two sandwiches. So, when they came, I saw they were on toasted buns not plain, but I took them anyway. But when I got home, they had put Big Mac sauce on them and no cheese or tartar sauce. So, I had to drive all the way back to McDonalds to return them. All the while my fries at home were getting cold and my drink ice melting. I am not sure what is the problem there, but someone in the district needs to take notice. Others waiting there were not happy about things as well. This type of meal now costs over $10 with tax. Ridiculous. They at least used to have uniform standards, but at least at this location, there appear to be no standards at all. Pick a better choice. Quality will be better and you may even get a better price.
