I love Hole in One Donuts! Their donuts are better than any other chain donut shop in the area. I stopped in at this location this past week to get coffee and donuts. The fruity pebbles donut caught my eye rather quickly. I had to get it. I also couldn't pass up the frosted red velvet one. They were both very good. The fruity pebbles were nice and crunchy. This is now my new favorite topping. I've read that they have more decorated donuts at this location. It must be something you order in advance because I didn't see any. I was a little disappointed with the selection of donuts at 6:45 in the morning. They didn't have that much of a variety compared to the location near my house. The one I go to in Valrico always has a large assortment as well as the glazed croissants (sugar and caramel glazed). I didn't see any glazed croissants at this location. I guess each store is different. I'll be returning since it's on my daily route to work. Maybe they'll have a better selection next time, and maybe even some decorated ones. read more

This local #ThankYouThursday review goes out to the very popular local chain of mom& pop donut shops, Hole in One Donuts. I visit several of their locations but on Sunday morning I needed to run into the Neighborhood Walmart Marketplace in the same plaza as Hole in One Donuts... I called my order in as I was driving. I love this convenient offering because it not only saves time (I still wait in line like the other customers) but it ensures I get the donuts I want since they sell out quickly and with this. particular donut shop once they sell out, they're gone for the day. Our family favorites are the cinnamon coffee roll, Bavarian cream, lemon-filled, sour cream donut and the chocolate with sprinkles! Oh man I probably shouldn't have told you how much my family likes those donuts now they'll never be available when I run in there for breakfast treats ;) The staff is always very nice as and very apologetic as they offer to look for your donut in the back and come back to the front area with disappointing news. I know I said earlier once they sell out, they're gone for the day but occasionally (especially if you go in early in the morning) they are racking freshly made donuts in the back and haven't had time to place them in the donut case yet. Pro tip : always ask if your donut is in the back when you don't see it in the front case. Remember to add a tip to your CC receipt or drop a few dollars in the tip jar! read more

Yes they are better then fresh KK. No other donut place comes close to these donuts. This place is in a strip mall so it's easy to miss but keep your eyes out because once you eat these Donuts you'll be back for more. A coworker brought these donuts in for our meeting. I've driven by this business dozens of times but never stopped in because I do not typically eat donuts. That being said, I've eaten donuts from all the major chains and from some other independent business, and I can honestly say these are the best donuts I have EVER had. Just visited Hole in One Donut place today the very first time. My Pamper Stop Lady recommended last time I saw her. When I got there a few minutes before 1pm without hesitation got almost all that was left before closing. I am telling you the truth-it was worth it driving from Tampa to get these box. Furthermore, besides delicious, fresh, finger licking good donuts the service was awesome, keeping in mind that Lady was there since 4-5am. This is a smaller location for Hole In One, but nonetheless still very good! I've only been here twice so far, but can't wait to go back again! I pass by it everyday on my way to work, and just realized a couple weeks ago that it was even there. It's in a tiny strip mall, so it can be easily overlooked unless you know it's there. They have a decent selection of breakfast items and donuts (I've realized the earlier you go the better). My only complaint is that they don't offer iced coffee, but I know this is more of a personal issue, since I usually only ever drink iced coffee/cold brew. They do, however, have hot coffee and creamer/sugar available. They have excellent prices as well! I ordered a donut, a large coffee, and a breakfast sausage pastry and it was all only around $4-5. read more

Great donuts! But the management harassed me for some reason... Came here for my girlfriends birthday. I brought in an energy drink with me (that they don't sell) and bought some donuts and a drink for my gf. Management came out and told me "no outside drinks as per the sign on the door" and was kinda rude about it. The sign was on the floor (it fell over so I didn't see it when I walked in). I apologized, but she told me I could stay and drink it this time. I thanked her. I then sat down with the purchased donuts and a drink for my girlfriend. Suddenly, with other customers all around, she hollers at me in front of everyone telling me to get out because I brought a 2nd drink with me and deceived her! I told her "I bought this here" and even after she realized this, she still kept watching me the whole time and told me what I did by bringing in my drink was "illegal". (I researched this later - it's not...) and anyways, she originally said I could stay! We left quickly. Guess she had a bad day or something. I still left a good tip, because the food was good... it's just a shame, because usually they were nice and donuts are soooo good (hence the 2 stars, not 1) but I'm not coming back again. read more

I am so disappointed! I physically went to this location Thursday to place a custom order for Friday pick-up. I arrived Friday morning to pick up my order and I was told that "they had a rush" so they sold the items I had special ordered except two. They had my phone number and did not even bother to call me to let me know. A special order is not a wish list. The owner was nice, but what brought me in was that I wanted to try their donuts. From the reviews it looked amazing. However, I feel the frosting was lacking. I gotten a maple donut. The frosting was stiff enough that it was falling off the donut with every bite. I also tried an everything bagel with cream cheese, and I felt the bagel was indeed delicious but with the little scoop of cream Cheese you get, sucks.
