This Walgreens is one of my favorite locations to shop because the customer service is always so friendly and welcoming. Whether I'm picking up a prescription or browsing the aisles, the employees are polite, helpful, and make the experience quick and easy. On my latest visit, I wasn't even shopping for anything specific, but I spotted two coffee mugs on sale in my favorite color, green! Even better, I was able to use my Walgreens Rewards, and both mugs ended up costing me just $4. I love finding little unexpected deals like that. Between the easy prescription pickup, kind staff, and great sales, this Walgreens is always worth the stop. read more

The worst Walgreens pharmacy ever. They canceled my order and made me wait until I called my doctor and prescribed my medication again. According to the person in the counter they called my clinical office and they couldn't verify me as a patient so they canceled my order that supposed to be ready for pick up. I have to wait over an hour to get my nurse call them again and place my prescription again. read more

This place has acted like they are closed because they think a hurricane that is 800 miles away is still in the Tampa area. They are the only ones scared in the hole state that the hurricane is still here. Many doctors have placed prescriptions for sick people that need it and these people are refusing to even look them. I'm guessing these wimps aren't from Florida. Some of the other Tampa Walgreens opened two days ago. This place has had power since Thursday and it's now Saturday. read more

I was surprised the pharmacy was open 24 hours. Perhaps this is common, I just was unaware. The pharmacist was very helpful and friendly and filled my prescription in under 10 minutes. Going at midnight I'm sure made a huge difference in the speed because the store was empty. Now that I know the late hours I will probably never go during the day again! read more

I tested positive for influenza A and had medication I needed to pick up and take before the end of the night. It's now going on 7 hours since they received the order for my prescription and when I called them they said they were about to start filling one of my medications but the most important one that would help me, they don't even carry. This is almost the worst Walgreens I've ever seen. I call several days ahead of time to get the date when I pick up my medication (controlled substance) and when the day comes, they've changed the date. I happen to be sharing a vehicle right now and I have to make arrangements for this. I called 8 times this morning. The automatic holding recording would play and after that it would go silent. Finally I got through and the woman I was talking to hung up on me. They did a beautiful job of remodeling the pharmacy and even put in a help desk. After that they cut their hours from being a 24 hour pharmacy and they're always short staffed. When I began to call and ask for the pharmacy manager they sent me back to the woman who hung up on me. Finally the store manager told me the truth, that the pharmacy manager doesn't come in until 4 p.m.! Don't go here if you need to pick up your medicine the day before so you'll have it for the morning. They're covering their butts because the DEA apparently looks at them closer because of the neighborhood, as confirmed by the pharmacy manager. read more

Might sound weird, but they have the nicest prescription waiting area I've ever seen. It has a couch. However, I never should have seen their waiting area, as they dropped the ball on a drive-thru pickup. Even though I dropped off a paper-copy script in person the day before, they said a note from the hospital indicated the patient (me) wasn't sure he was going to need the medication. I put half the blame on Donna from Brandon Regional Hospital (I'll be updating my review for them too), and half on this Walgreens for not mentioning "the note in their computer" yesterday when I was here in person dropping off the script. It's not the end of the world, but spending 30 Easter Day minutes here wasn't part of my plan. The store is big, clean, and seems well laid out. I love my little local Walgreens. I'm part of the Walgreens point system which is free to sign up. You get great deals and don't have to cut and carry coupons. This place is always clean and the employees have always been helpful to me. The pharmacy is very knowledgeable when it comes to medication concerns. read more

As soon as I walk into this Walgreens, all could say was wow. This place is huge and has everything you can possibly need for a short trip to Walgreens. It has a grocery store feel to it. Although pricey you can purchase fresh food items such as an Apple for 1.59. Would have rated 5 stars if prices were a little cheaper. I recently switched to CVS on MLK due to a change in insurance, and I realized how much I miss Walgreens. They are helpful and competent. They call insurance companies for you if there is an issue. If they say your medication will be ready at a certain time, it is. Their wait time is reasonable. If they don't have the medication, they call other Walgreens pharmacies to confirm if they have it. They suggest that u use your points and/or coupons to decrease prices of expensive medications. I definitely took them for granted assuming that this sort of behavior was standard everywhere. I can only give them 4 stars because unfortunately they accidentally gave me the wrong medication once. But they immediately apologized and never made that mistake again. read more

The walgreens itself is nice and I go there if I need to pick up something quick. However, the pharmacy department is full of the dumbest, rudest group of Desperate Housewife wannabes. I literally go way out of my way to get my medications from a different walgreens because even though this location is right down the street from my house the women at the pharmacy are terrible. This is not a one time thing. Every time its something else. Earlier today, I had to make a quick errand so i thought I'd just run in and have a prescription filled...I didn't want to but I did it anyway. I dropped off two prescriptions and the girl told me to come back in an hour and a half. I come back and they decided to just fill one of the prescriptions....I said "I dropped off two" and she said "Oh, you wanted that other one filled too?" (Yes, I did you dumb ***) I mean seriously has anyone ever dropped off two prescriptions from a doctor and only wanted one of them filled?! What a moron. Then in a very rude voice she tells me that it will be a few minutes because they will have to fill it. She then pushes the items I was also going to purchase at me! And gestures for me to take a seat.....Then when my prescription was ready 20 minutes later this dumb ***** tells me I have to wait in the line...Ummm, I've been waiting. No matter how many times I ask the pharmacy to NOT FILL prescriptions for me automatically, they continue to do so. I have told them I will call in the order when I need it. Then they keep harassing me with text messages to pick up my prescriptions. It's annoying that they can't follow instructions. read more
