My only suggestion to the owner would be to package the donuts and pastries in front of the customer at checkout rather than taking them into the back to box them up. Most donut and pastry shops package items within view of the customer, and I think it gives customers a little more peace of mind when they can see their specific items being handled and packaged, especially when it comes to food.
